I am a Sonoma County Realtor. I needed an inspection of ductwork and heating system on a property for my buyers, and we needed it asap. Stout's was able to get a technician out within one day, and the estimate for repairs (and pictures) came just after the inspection was done. Awesome! Will definitely refer to and use Stout's services again.

We called Stouts Heating and Airconditioning to check our ducts. The owner’s son, Steve came to do this . He did not go under our hose to check the duct work but stated it was okay. We didn’t receive any pictures to verify his findings.

After leaving, we discovered several days later that our crawl space door had not been put back. When we called the business, we were told by the owner (Jean). that her son said he didn’t leave the cover off. Another person came over and assured us that if a cat was under the house it would run out when he opened the door to the crawlspace. He also didn’t go under the home.

Today, December 14th we discovered the neighbor’s cat under our home. We were able to remove the cat.

While both service people were friendly. their work was less than thorough and was incomplete. I hesitate to use the word lax to describe their work but it was no satisfactory and didn’t sole our problem. The best I can say is perhaps there was some misunderstanding of the work we wanted to be done.

I have been using Stout's HVAC for over 15 years. They have installed a heatpump in one house for me and both a heater and air conditioning for my current home. Stouts did an install of a mini split system in my home. The cost of the job was exactly what they bid. They showed up on time. They finished the work on time. All of the work was cleanly and professionally done. What more could you ask for?? Stout's Heating and Air Conditioning is an excellent example of how a home improvement contractor should work. A+.

Amazing work, from the initial phone call through the installation. Stout’s replaced terminally old floor/wall heaters with a Daikin ductless system. Couldn’t be happier. They kept me in the loop through all phases of the job, answered questions, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Stout’s Heating & AC.

Our old heater stopped functioning, and I called Stout's since they were the only Heating and AC contractors advertising that they service Coleman heaters. The service rep recommended replacing the unit because of its age and the cost of repair. We wanted to add an air conditioner also. I made the mistake of not getting bids from other contractors before going ahead as their estimate sounded ballpark and the summer heat was approaching. They gave us a choice of 2 levels of efficiency for the heater but didn't describe the air conditioner they would install. We now have a huge box outside that is rated at the minimum legal efficiency. The estimator suggested that we could forego the building permit and inspection, but we opted to pay the $500 for it. The unit was installed in a satisfactory manner, other than their failing to move some of the heavy furniture back in place and denting the track for our closet door with the ladder used to access the crawlspace. The main complaint is that when the City building inspector came a week later, the work failed the inspection due to their overloading our circuit system with the air conditioner load. The inspector requires that they perform a load calculation and replace the circuit panel with one that has a higher capacity. I contacted Stout's immediately to let them know, and the company owner called right away to assure me that the unit is not a fire danger, but a week has passed by and they have not contacted us to arrange to address the problem. In addition to not being able to use the air conditioner we just paid $5000 for,on order of the building inspector, we haven't received a receipt for our payment for their work.

Had a great experience with Stout Air. Rep arrived on time for a winter maintenance check up. Everything checked out with a minor heat adjustment. Would certainly recommend. .

We called their office on Tuesday, and they were able to schedule an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. The technician called as he was able to arrive an hour earlier, which worked out very well for my schedule. He was super friendly, helpful, and amazing with our dogs. He was able to check and complete the repair for us within an hour. Definitely recommend.

Dennis and Darlene are great to with and are honest !!! Dennis gave me the best price out of three bids for a 3 ton unit change out, furnace and central air, 16 SEER. Tyler and Curtis are great installers and my wife was impressed with their knowledge and they took the time to explain things we didn't know or understand. I am very satisfied with their work, knowledge and expertise. My wife loves the new unit and the ten year Coleman parts and labor warranty. The most important thing is to have an installer that is going to be around for the long haul, Stout's has a great business reputation.

Everyone from Stouts Heating & AC were very professional and polite. My wife and I were very satisfied with there work and would recommend them to anyone that asked.

I read the reviews posted about Stout's before requesting a second estimate to replace my 20 year old air conditioner. I was skeptical because all the reviews were glowing, but I needed a second quote, so I gave them a try. Best "chance" I ever took. I put them through the wringer with my questions, challenging them on items that the other company said needed to be replaced, but that didn't show up on their (Stout's) quote - which was literally 50% less than the first quote! Then I did my due diligence, and confirmed that Stout was right - I didn't need half the things on the first quote. Bottom line: they answered all my questions satisfactorily, installed the new air conditioner the following week, and even the city inspector complimented the job they did. On top of that, their customer service was outstanding. Phone calls were answered or returned promptly, they helped me handle the permit and inspection process, and were patient with all my questions and concerns. I recommend Stout.

Starting with the first encounter, when I had finally decided to replace my 23 year old furnace, I was initially impressed with the professional attitude of the man who came to the house. He took me through the process, step by step so I knew exactly what to expect.
The crew of three who arrived on time the next week accomplished the installation and all the extra work involved in 4 hours. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and generally did a five-star job. I'm very happy with the whole thing! Thanks, guys!!

Prompt response from company for scheduling service, technician was even early for appointment which was great. He was efficient and identified and fixed the issue quickly.

As a plumbing company, we have done work with this company on several occasions, so when it was time to fix our own heater we called them right away. The technician came out that evening, quickly diagnosed our issue, and had the part on order and installed the very next day. Their bid was very reasonable, and they were so prompt. They run a well oiled machine over there and even though they have been in business for a quarter of a century, they still put their all into their work. Their efficiency and value of their work was not just professional courtesy, it is just how they run their business, the many 5 star reviews will tell you that. I recommend them to all my neighbors, friends, and family!

The entire experience was better than expected. First, Dennis came to give us an estimate, which he did with a veterans discount. We had heard others in the park tell us how much they had paid so we were surprised at the estimate we got. We sat outside and visited for a half hour. He was polite, kind, and we both felt that he was a very trustworthy person. The installer was here when scheduled and did a fine job.
When it comes time to buy a new furnace we will be returning Stout’s for sure!

Wonderful company, very helpful would recommend any day!! Asked for one unit at our complex to be service but when the tech arrived several other tenants complained about their unit, and he was wonderful went and looked at the units and gave advice what was needed for each one.
