Vadim, Andrew and the rest of the team worked eagerly and diligently for the day and a half it took to replace our 23 year old failing gas furnace and R-22 air conditioner with a new gas furnace and a R410 Heat Pump…and a modernized Nest thermostat. Vadim and Andrew helped to define this suitably priced solution for our house. The work the Fresh Air team did included replacing all attic ducting after reconfiguring the duct runs and plenum box. This new ducting also fixed an historic problem with inadequate air delivery to 2 of the rooms in the house which could never get sufficient cooling air. They also update/upgraded all of the registers from louvered type to bar type, allowing increased airflow to the rooms. When they were done, they also walked with me for my inspection and demonstrated that the system was cleanly installed and worked as advertised. This is a great update to our home. These guys are knowledgeable, customer oriented, honest, polite, respectful, hard working, do clean quality work, are competitively priced, and are very responsive to any questions/concerns that I had throughout the process…and even afterwards. I was referred to Fresh Air Mechanical by my Handyman(Evgenii Shimanski). When I called Vadim Chirkin, he arrived in 30 minutes. My air conditioner wasn't working. He diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was professional, polite and his work ethic was exceptional and the quality of work is the best I have had in San Diego, I recommend Vadim and Fresh Air Mechanical.

We were very pleased with Fresh Air Mechanical and couldn't be happier with the new furnace and air conditioning units they installed. They were very courteous, professional and competent. They were on time, knowledable and completed the work in a timely manner. They explained everything that was installed and answered all our questions about the unit and how to use the thermostat. I would highly recommend them.

These guys are the best ... honest and very fairly priced. I thought I needed to have an A/C completely removed from my guest apartment. The heat pump was broken, and other companies told me that I needed to replace both the heat pump and air handler ... and pay a ton of money, too. (Alternately, they wanted a ton of money to remove those systems, if I could even get them to do it at all.) My brother used Fresh Air a few months ago, and had lots good to say about them. I called them on a Thursday ... they gave me a very reasonable removal price ... and they arrived early the next morning. Sweet! Vadim evaluated both the heat pump and air handler, and informed me that instead he could adapt a new heat pump to work with the existing air handler ... and do it all for a price I could afford. I agreed, as this was better than having the unit removed, per my original plan. Vadim and Andrew had the new unit within 30 minutes, and in another hour later it was working. They even reprogrammed my smart thermostat to work with the new system. Really, how could I ask for more. I would use them again and again, and I'm looking forward to having them out next summer for a look-see to make sure all is good. I recommend them to you, too.
