Reliable, honest, and greatest hvac company out there if you want transparency

This company is completely unreliable. Ed is unprofessional and untrustworthy. He was hired to repair one fireplace and perform maintenance on another I 11/2024. He required half of the payment upfront, promising to arrive within 48 hours, but repeatedly postponed the appointment for over three weeks.

When he finally showed up, he rushed through the job, spending less than 45 minutes repairing one fireplace, changing a valve and cleaning. Despite not completing the maintenance on the second fireplace, he demanded the remaining payment. Ed assured us he would return within 2–3 days to finish the job, but he never showed up and ignored all calls and messages—despite having been paid in full.

To make matters worse, the fireplace he “repaired” stopped working in less than two weeks, and we were never able to reach him again. His lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and unreliability make this company completely untrustworthy. I’m grateful I didn’t hire him for our AC system.

I called timely comfort for my AC not cooling on my other side of property. And once he shows up and already new the problem. Fixed and one happy customer. The technician diagnosed the problems after two others from Air Serv had stopped at what they thought was the issue but not the root problem. Highly recommend Ed and Timely Comfort. Will use them going forward if needed. The price was very reasonable and service was outstanding. Ed did not stop till he found ALL the problems unlike the previous techs. Thank you so much Ed and Timely Comfort. So nice to turn the heater on and have it work properly the first time in over 4 years.

Ed was the first to respond from my Thumbtack request and gave me a solid quote. I got additional quotes from others but his was the best. We scheduled the work for 2 days out and he completed the job quickly. He installed a vent in a room and ran the duct from the attic next door. The job went as expected and I would definitely work with Ed again.

Came out for water heater flush and plumbing inspection. Great service and friendly staff

It had been triple digit temps in Stockton this week and of all times, our AC went down.
Tried to brave the heat using portable fans but just wasn’t enough.
It’s about 2pm and I am at work, and had mentioned this issue to one of my coworkers, who then recommended Simi.
I called Simi and was expecting them to have me on their books in a couple of days or so…probably in the earlier part of the day because it was scorching hot especially in the afternoon.
I was wrong, Craig and Anthony came on the same day, probably around 430ish pm.
Turns out it was a busted AC capacitor and thermostat. They didn’t have the parts with them but they were able to remediate it temporarily and had the AC running to at least get us through the night. Anthony was literally drenched in sweat to get this work done. Couldn’t be grateful enough…
Anthony and his brother came back the following morning with the parts and completed the job.
This is a family-owned company and more than just the reasonable rates, I truly am impressed with their passion, service and courtesy.
I am glad I took my coworker’s recommendation and called Simi.
This said, I would recommend Simi in a heartbeat for your HVAC needs.

Simi Heating and Air offers A+ service. On the 4th of July our air conditioner broke and after calling them they came out and replaced a part...waited to see if it was working after the install and had us up and running before the evening was over. I was given excellent customer service. Anthony was courteous, empathic and very expeditious in resolving our problem.
