We used Finley's for tree trimming and had a great experience with them. We found them online based on their 5 star reviews and decided to give them a try. Samantha was super friendly and helpful in setting up our first appt and getting our bid to us promptly. Scott and his crew came out, gave us a very reasonable bid and followed up and got the job done. Everyone was prompt, courteous, and professional and we have already returned to do a second job with them! Would definitely recommend for tree services.

Recently we had work done on our home with Finley’s. We are so thrilled and love our new outdoor space. The quality of workmanship, commitment, communication, and professionalism from Mr Mike Barajas, and Mr. Manuel Paez was great. I highly recommend Finley’s Tree and Land care. We are now having neighbors, family and friends telling us how beautiful are outdoor space, it also has great curb appeal. Mike and Manny also gave advice and helped guide us to ensure the design and end result were perfect. Even our dogs love there new outdoor space. The space is a perfect fit for us, our dogs and lifestyle. A big shout to the amazing group of workers and to Mike and Manny.

The team at Finley's is top notch from beginning to end. They have trimmed our large Queen Palms for several years and always arrive on time, do great work, and leave the area cleaner than they found it. Their prices are reasonable and they make the entire process very easy.

This review is based on our newly renovated backyard, the 850 sq ft and backyard wall needed a facelift. To start off, we called and reached out to a few landscapers, where they all had their own ideas and suggestions, but it overall came down to who we thought would work best for us which was Finley. James who was project manager was very professional as well as his entire crew who worked diligently and had excellent workmanship. We loved our new backyard look! It turned out better than what we thought it might initially be…never had any big issue or problems. It was a quick 2.5 week turnaround for the overall initial cost of it.

We had a great experience with Finley’s Tree & Landcare when we redid our backyard and side yard. We wanted a space that felt more family-friendly and inviting to relax, play, and entertain in. Our lawn was dead and full of weeds, our tree needed some love, and the concrete was stained and cracked — but they completely transformed it!

Travis got us set up quickly with James for a free quote. James listened to what we wanted, gave thoughtful suggestions, and the quote broke everything down clearly, which made the whole process feel super easy and transparent.

The project started just a week after signing and wrapped up in about three weeks. Manuel and his crew did a great job — they were respectful, efficient, and always cleaned up after themselves.

We’re so happy with how everything turned out and have been enjoying our new yard every day since! Highly recommend Finley’s Tree & Landcare — we’ll definitely be using them again for our driveway and front yard projects.

A HUGE pepper tree branch broke off suddenly & fell into my front yard. taking out a plum tree branch with it. It blocked my driveway so that no cars could get in or out.
I called Finley's and Scott came to the rescue! I explained it was kind of urgent that I be able to use my driveway. He told me his guys would be there by 1:00, and rearranged jobs to give mine priority. His team came about 15-20 minutes early, and they were so fast and efficient, they were practically *DONE* by 1:00! They were cleaning up & finished by 1:15.
I'm so grateful to Scott & Finley's Tree & Landcare for appreciating the urgency and responding professionally & so quickly! It was a great experience with a great company, and I recommend their services enthusiastically and without hesitation. I will DEFINITELY call them again to take care of my trees!

Our backyard was such a mess that we finally decided to install a putting green and choosing Finley’s Tree & Landcare turned out to be an excellent decision. From the initial estimate to the design, construction, and final touches, communication was smooth the entire way. Everyone—from the manager to the crew—was friendly, professional, and hardworking.

They would text us the day before to let us know what work would be done the next day, and they always arrived before the scheduled start time to prepare and keep the project on track. During the construction week, it happened to rain heavily in California, but they even set up tents in our backyard to continue working and stay on schedule (see attached photos).

Honestly, I would have been satisfied if they had only done a good job on the putting green, but they went above and beyond by taking care of many small details throughout the rest of the yard to make everything look cohesive.
Five stars don’t feel like enough. Highly recommended.

A huge thank you to Scott at Finley’s for generously providing free mulch for our native Demonstration Garden at White Point Nature Education Center and Preserve in San Pedro. We were thrilled to receive two large piles of clean, non-weedy mulch, which is helping suppress invasive species and allowing our native plants to thrive. Southern California Tree and Landscape does an excellent job across multiple of our communities. Their weekly maintenance and seasonal clean‑ups are consistently performed with great care and attention to detail. They are highly responsive, quick to provide bids for our boards, and always willing to go above and beyond with work orders, site walks, and professional recommendations. Ivy Santillan and Arlene Acero are wonderful to work with—professional, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them!

Appreciate the attention to detail!

This is an awful company who sprays poison all over private and public areas. They do landscaping a property in Torrance called Bay breeze where they have been caught numerous times pouring weed killer and poison all over sidewalks and areas where humans and pets are, not on “weeds”. We have videos and photos to prove it. Something needs to be done about this company putting poison in our communities.

SCTL is a landscape company above the rest. In my line of business I’ve dealt with many and SCTL has been the best. Angel Rodriguez is great to work with. He is always available. He is very professional, easy to communicate with and gets things done. I highly recommend SCTL. No job is too big or too small. They don’t stop at landscaping services, they have many other divisions which is amazing. I love the fact that they give renderings to see their ideas beforehand. Try them and you’ll see how wonderful they are.

This company is fantastic! They did a beautiful job landscaping my garden and I couldn't be happier. Jason lead the crew that did my job and he reviewed it thoroughly with me and made sure things went smoothly. Troy is super-responsive and helpful as well. Recommend highly.
