Brent came within 3 hours of me calling to report our suspected leak. He was able to ascertain the location within a few minutes of arriving. He explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way. He was able to clearly show me where the leak was. He provided an estimate on the spot for two different repair options. I could not be more pleased with his professionalism. He even helped carry in packages that were on my front porch when he arrived. Way above and beyond for customer service!

Suspecting I had an active water leak under my slab floor, which is discoloring my hardwood floor in one room and carpeting in another, I needed a definitive answer, and possibly a repair. I found Leak Hounds via a Web search, reviewed their company history, and studied their reviews. I called them up and made an appointment for a leak detection visit. Brent was very helpful over the phone, and listened carefully as I described the issue. An appointment was made promptly for just two days in the future. Cory, the technician, arrived within the time bracket I was given, and listened carefully as I described the problem and showed him around the house and yard. He performed two air pressure tests, one for a sprinkler chain (which I thought was the source of the leak), and then another for the entire house plumbing system, both hot and cold. Surprisingly, no leaks were detected. This led Cory to suggest the water that was invading my home was likely coming from the outside. This is most plausible, after we had nearly 3" of rain in January. This was not the answer I was expecting, however, it was definitive enough for me to go forward with my plan to replace the hardwood and carpet flooring, with luxury vinyl, that is entirely waterproof, and have sealant applied at ground level all around my house. Leak Hounds provided me with a definitive answer, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Leak Hounds for any plumbing needs.

We had a slab leak just before Thanksgiving... our wood floors suddenly became very warm in the area near our laundry room. I contacted a friend in the the construction trades to see if he could recommend a good and reliable plumber that was reasonably priced. He recommended i contact Brent from LeakHounds.

Understanding the urgency of our situation, Brent quickly arranged his schedule to come out the next day and he and Luis used their various listening devices, moisture and heat sensors, and other tools to diagnose where the leak was coming from and the options for fixing the problem. And then they worked with us to come up with a resolution that involved minimal demolition to the walls and structure. They fixed the leak and we were back in business within a few hours. And they even recommended an excellent drywall/painter guy to make the additional needed repairs.

Several months later, we had another leak that resulted in water coming through the ceiling of our garage and I immediately reached out to Brent. Once again, they were able to get a team out the very next morning (Corey and Luis) and after using their various detection tools were actually able to determine it wasn't a plumbing leak at all but, instead, that our college age kids weren't being careful when they showered and water that was spilling out from the shower into the floor had actually leaked down to the ceiling below through a crack in the floor.

While we had to retain a remediation company to make the repairs, we at least had piece of mind knowing the leak was unrelated to any plumbing issues.

In short, I wouldn't call anyone else if I had leak issue. LeakHounds should be your go to. It's a no brainer. They are prompt, reliable, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced (and friendly!).

We had this company come to detect a leak for us. They said it was one problem (the toilet’s wax ring needed to be replaced). The leak continued, but luckily we had construction done on the same bathroom and they found that the actual problem was a broken pipe. We contacted them about it since the work that was done didn’t fix the problem (sent pictures of the broken pipe) and they said there was nothing they could do because the broken pipe was a “secondary problem” regardless of the fact that the problem still persisted after they said they “fixed” the problem the first time. There was no accountability for their error. Won’t be using them again

UPDATE: if you actually look at the reviews I have posted you can see I have written good ones, okay ones, as well as bad ones. You state that you want to be professional but that comment about past ratings was not. If I feel a company deserves a bad review I’ll write it so that I can notify people about my bad experience so that they can make an educated decision. As I told you over the phone we were not shown the impacts of the toilet flushing, which was probably our fault for taking the workers at their word. We know nothing about plumbing, so we hope that the people we are working with are honest with us. Our contractors that we hired had nothing to gain about telling us that you led us astray, which your initial diagnosis, which is why we’re going with what they said. If you don’t want to take accountability that’s ultimately up to you (not looking for a refund because you won’t do that, just to be held accountable). At the end of the day you lost a customer and we will tell everyone we know not to use you as well
