My experience with drain city plumbing was amazing! They were able to fit me in to their schedule very quickly.. office dispatcher was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions and assigned a very knowledgeable plumber (don’t recall his name) that completed the job in a timely manner.

I was contacted by Drain City Plumbing after I made a request through Fixr for a plumber to come look at my running toilet. They scheduled me for an appointment later that day for a FREE estimate. When the plumber arrived, he fiddled with the mechanism in the toilet and appeared to fix the problem. I suspected that the problem was more involved than what he did, but as he was “the professional,” I trusted him. He then asked for the service fee of $60. Since I thought he had fixed it, even though he was supposed to supply a FREE estimate, I agreed. He asked me how I would pay for it. When I told him by credit card, he offered me a $20 discount ($40 charge) if I paid him with cash to avoid the credit card fees. I agreed, and even gave him $50 to split the difference.
A few hours later, the toilet was running again. He had not fixed it. I called to schedule a return visit, and I was scheduled for two days later between 10 and 11 am. The plumber did not show up. I called again to find out what happened, and was informed that I was not on the schedule for that day(?). We rescheduled again for two days later. Again, no one showed up or called.
At this point I have cut my losses, and will have to chalk it up to experience. Drain City Plumbing got me for 50 bucks. Learn from my mistake.

Last night wind blew out our hot water heater pilot light. The heater is outside in a spot that makes re-lighting difficult. I couldn’t get it to light. Tony came and within minutes had it lit. I expected the weekend charge-up but $85 seemed reasonable on an early Saturday morning. He was friendly and prompt. I’d use them again.

Terrible customer service. And Juan the plumber did not keep his word. He said if the snaking of my kitchen sink doesn't work, I will not have to pay. It worked for 1 hour and I contacted him. I never got my money back. He said the problem was bigger and I would need to have a pipe changed, so why not be honest and refund me my money or even offer to put it towards the bigger job. He sent out two young non-experienced guys 10 days later and they opened the sink line and said, "yea it's a bigger problem".... lol, I think I knew that already young boys!!!! This company has zero customer service experience and are out for the customers money, not longevity business

Our initial experience was excellent. However, after the work was completed, we discovered that the three hot water heaters installed by Drain City Plumbing were not up to code. More importantly, the installation failed to resolve our primary concern — the lack of on-demand hot water. We would not recommend this company as a plumbing contractor due to their lack of follow-up and poor communication both during and after the installation process.

Did an extensive job replacing all of the piping both inside and out plus installing a new water heater. They completed the job in a timely matter, were professional, friendly, answered all of my questions and cleaned up each day. Reasonable rates and I would use them again.

Tony is a total professional. He answered the phone when I called, made time to give me an estimate, undercut all other company estimates, was here with his crew on time for 5 straight days, worked clean, left no mess, and even made several trips back just to make sure that everything was working properly. We are extremely happy with the repairs that Tony and his crew performed, and I would recommend Drain City to anyone looking for fair pricing and professional resuts.

I received three responses from my request on Angi's list. Tony from drain City was the fastest reply but he was also friendly. He came out to do my estimate the following afternoon and early the following morning he and his crew were early and quickly replaced my water heater. Friendly, fast and reliable - solid work.

Tony did a lot of work for us, new water heater, fixed leaks and plumbing, and has did general maintenance on our water line to fridge. He was prompt, very communicative and transparent, and found pricing to be fair for the work. Will definitely use as our go to plumbing team here on out. Highly recommend

DRAIN CITY is the plumbing company to use. They replace my tankless water heater at the best price around. They completed the job within the exact timeframe they quoted we’re on time and cleaned up.
