My AC stopped working during the 100 degree heatwave we just had and when I called Mel’s, they fit me into the schedule and helped me day of. They were knowledgeable and quick to make the repair. I would definitely call them again!

I recently hired Mel's Heating and Air to install my HVAC system, and i am extremely satisfied with their service. I am now saving a ton of money on my utility bills. They were prompt, professional and got the job done efficiently. My house is now cozy and comfortable again! Highly Recommend Mel's Heating and Air for service and installation. I will use them again in the future.

I called on a Th and was able to get a Monday morning appointment (for a missing drain line on a rooftop AC unit). The tech, Michael, was professional and friendly. He was very quick and I’ll definitely be using Mel’s again for any future work. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this company and crew! They saved my family, house, and money as the person who installed my split unit less than a year ago did so carelessly.

Mel’s Heating & Air’s professionalism and experience is far above the rest. You never feel like there might be strangers in your house. Their trucks and vans are marked. Before the technicians enter the home they send a picture and profile of them so that you have an idea of who is entering your home.

The following day after requesting an estimate, Robert, a very experienced technician, thoroughly assessed and reviewed the issues with me. On the day it was fixed both Robert and Danipal were respectful of the house, surrounding houses, informative, and receptive to many questions. It was tested and ran for a while before they left.

Needless to say, they will be my first and only call as well as the only company I recommend.

I would find it hard to give anyone a full 5 star rating, since that would mean no room for improvement. I would recommend Mel's. The technician was prompt, courteous, diagnosed and fixed my heater problem in a timely manner.

I have used Mel’s many times after a friend’s recommendation. Each time, the specialist was professional, friendly, and on time after sending me a text stating they were on their way. No problems and always good work.

Mel's responded the same day to our request for service! Noel came out and diagnosed the issue. I did not realize he was the owner of Mel's until after the service call. He normally does estimates. The fact that he was willing to do the service call himself spoke highly of his dedication to his company and customers. He went back to the office got the necessary part and fixed our issue that afternoon! We will call them again in the future- service was 5 star!

Mel’s did a complete furnace and AC unit installation and we couldn’t be happier! We also had a new hot water heater and whole house fan installed as it was such a great value with Mel’s pricing. We had previously gotten two other quotes and Mel’s timely response, competitive prices, and professional (and friendly) service really clinched the deal for us. We’ve already recommended this company to a friend and I know they used Mel’s and were happy with them as well.

Air conditioner went out, 110* outside. Air conditioning company that was doing maintenance on my unit told me it would be 2 weeks until they can see my unit. My wife called and spoke with Noel. In the time that it took me to get to Home Depot and buy 2 window units Noel was at my house and got the unit going. We were so impressed with the service, we had Mel’s install a brand new unit and do duct work the next week. They were done in 2 days kept everything clean and left with my house feeling like an ice box. Best customer service ever. Thank you

the technician was prompt to arrive civil not working confident worth quickly and explain the problem. If he brought Fried Chicken he probably would have got five stars.

They exceeded all professional expectations. Their customer service is outstanding, their dedication to complete the installation is excellent. Nothing ran smoothly, yet they handled each challenge with calm and professional determination until 10 hours later my ac was working properly. Words can not express how grateful I am to have a cool home in this 100+ degree weather.

Mel’s is ALWAYS our go to for AC/heating issues. Michael was a fantastic technician, he came out same day and quickly fixed the issues with our AC unit. He also explained the problem and showed me where the issue was in a way that I could understand. He showed me the part he was replacing and explained what it did and why the old part had stopped working. We will always use Mel’s because of their wonderful customer service. We also recommend them to anyone looking for AC/heating repairs.

Danipal and his assistant showed up within the window of what was scheduled! Having two techs since units are farther apart made the maintenance rather quick! One was in the attic servicing the equipment and the other was in the back yard cleaning and servicing the two condenser units. Before long they were putting things back running tests and checking temps! I also appreciated Danipal checking temps over hooking up gauges to check pressures unnecessarily that wastes gas! They were very friendly and efficient! Definitely recommend them! I apologize for not remembering the other techs name he had a more unique name. Lol! THANK YOU!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Mel’s Hearing and Air. I was at a point where I thought I couldn’t trust businesses anymore because of the issues I have had, but not with Mel’s. They are trustworthy and actually care about helping people and go the extra mile in regards to customer service that I haven’t experienced in a long time. I had been having issues with my AC since purchasing the house and even managed to get the full unit replaced through my home warranty during the second year. However, this summer, the same issues started up. I had initially called Decker Bros the come out since they did the replacement. However, my experience with them was terrible. Not being honest, not being able to get a straight answer about the problem, the techs not running any real tests on the unit, the run around when calling the office, the wrong quote, and ultimately, a recommendation to have the entire unit replaced despite the fact that I just had it replaced (with a $4K price tag). I finally called around for a second quote and got ahold of Mel’s. COMPLETELY different experience right off the bat. The receptionist was super helpful and supportive and actually forwarded me straight to their technician, Robert, who was very knowledgeable and offered to come out and take a look right away. He immediately noticed some issues the other company hadn’t even noticed or suggested. Issues he offered to remedy on the spot that didn’t involve a huge price tag. He also offered to follow up to ensure there were no other leaks or issues with how the unit was performing. Overall, the issues I was having are more to do with the older home I own and the size of the original unit installed (and unfortunately replaced by the warranty like for like), as well as much warmer weather than when this house was originally built. So, ends up, don’t need a replacement and that the unit is working fine. In the future, I may need to do some upgrades if I want cooler temperatures in the home during a triple digit day, but at the end of the day, I couldn’t think Mel’s and Robert enough. They were patient throughout this entire process, explained everything to me, worked with me, and were honest, and hardworking. I will be going to them for all my future AC needs and would highly recommend them to anyone else who wants a knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest/trustworthy business. Thank you.
