Sadly Ikes has gone down hill. We've used them in the past for purchases and repairs. Now they are very hard to get a hold of on the phone. Bought a refridgerator there 2 years ago and it stopped working. Marco came out and said it had a leak. We asked about hauling it away. He said to call the office. My husband called and talked to someone and she said she'd talk to Marco and call him right back. That was a Friday and this is Monday. I finally got a hold of the and they don't hall refridgerators away more. Yes!! We planned on paying for it. Planned on buying another fridgerator, but not from them.

Marco and gus are very respectful and friendly and. These guys did a really good job.... way to go guys!!!!!

Came on a weekend for an emergency fix...compressor overheated on my 2.5 year old Maytag fridge. All food lost in freezer. They had the part and fixed it...still working after a week. Very grateful they were able to send a technician out. Gustavo...very kind, courteous, and knowledgable. Thanks Ikes!

Marco came to service my oven. He was prompt & repaired the latch issue quickly. It was very reasonable as well. I was worried I'd have to buy a new stove on a limited income. $50 for the service call & $35 for the part. What a blessing!

I called their office and ask if they can help me with a loud noice in our Refrigerator,
I was told that initial visit will cost $95, my understanding was if the problem was diagnosed and repaired the $95 usually is waived by any other business that I worked with for the last 40 years.
After few days I talk to the representative named Lupita, and Ask for the estimate of the repair but she said she's not gonna give me the estimate unless I pay the none refundable $95.
After I give her my credit card for the $95 she told me the cost will be over $500, I know for a fact this is one small part and it's not gonna cost more than $80 so this is a great way to make $95 by just visiting peoples home for five minutes. This place is a used appliances sell place and have no expertise in repairing your new appliances please do not trust them with repair projects. Driving by their location is just a Old appliances junkyard.

These me guys are great. I’ve had multiple companies look at my commercial fridge and couldn’t find a solution. Ulyses & Marcos from Ikes figured it out within minutes. They communicate, they’re affordable, & honest. I highly recommend them.

Call them up very friendly and professional. They initially came out to troubleshoot found heating element was out. The tech was very friendly especially with 4 grandkids watching him along with my daughter. He came back a week later to install the heating element. Awesome Job. I would highly recommend Ikes!!

So I called these guys out when my refrigerator wasn't working wasn't working. The freezer would work the refrigerator is not getting cold. I called out I compliance they said it would be $135 for the diagnosis and then they call me later with a quote. I already knew my family's out and thinking it was easier to call a professional they came out and told me my fan was out and it would be $135 for the trip. The service tech told my wife the fan would never work again and I had my refrigerator running 30 minutes after he left. The fan wasn't done it was a little bit of ice blocking the whole to the refrigerator and he calls me back with a $450 quote to have it fixed.

Gustavo was able to come out the day after I made my claim through my home warranty insurance. He immediately obtained the part needed to get my much needed AC back up and running and we have cool air once again! Thank you Ike’s and Gustavo!

They get hurt on a review and dump you due to their lack of no communication. Instead of fixing the issue they dump and run. They even called us by the wrong name. Don’t use them for AC. This for our 89 year old grandma that wants her stuff fixed so she can go home. Glad the owner went on vacation so the parts were not ordered.

Great service! Very honest and affordable price. My unit stopped working and the next day was fixed. I highly recommend it!

I will not be recommending this company to anyone I know. As well as asking our home insurance company to remove them from their vendor list. Our 89yo grandmother’s A/C unit broke 3 weeks ago, smack dab in the middle of the Central Valley heat wave. We were able to get repairs authorized within 24hrs, but we are STILL waiting on Ike’s to do the job. We have had to relocate our grandmother to our home because the extreme temperatures inside her house that have resulted in unlivable conditions for anyone at any age. This job was marked “high priority” by our insurance company but STILL the job has not been completed. I have had to make all the calls to the insurance company that Ike’s should be doing themselves. Unfortunately they are the only authorized vendor in our network for our insurance and can not seek an out of coverage vendor without paying 10’s of thousands of dollars out of pocket. We are stuck and having to wait on Ike’s to read emails, make calls and coordinate with their techs to pickup equipment at their leisure. This is unacceptable and our complaint is absolutely justified.

After coming back from vacation with the family, first load of laundry and the washer broke. Got a new one. Then to top it off, first washed load put into the dryer and the dryer doesn’t dry! “When it rains it pours”. Called Ike’s appliances and left a message. SAME DAY! They got back to us and were able to be out. Luckily they had the part available and ready to install. Like a super hero they were able to come out and get my family back on track with the rhythm of our life. 11/10 am using them again for any of my appliance needs. Super clean! Super friendly! Very educational!

I called them to troubleshoot my GE refrigerator. The technician came out and was very friendly and on time. I explained to him that my ice maker and water dispenser was not working and that I had just replaced the filter. He was there troubleshooting for about 30min or so then came to the conclusion that the computer board needed to be replaced and he would give me a quote once he got the price. A day later I was given a quote over $650, instead I purchased a Home Warranty and filed a claim, they sent out a GE technician and he concluded that there was a disconnected wire and the filter was put in incorrectly. Like the other review states these guys are not properly trained to work on newer appliances.

Horizon Heating and Air Conditioning got our AC up and running fast and works great now. AC unit went out called Horizon and Greg was able to come out the next day and got it up and working. Greg, the owner, really knows his stuff. He's honest, hardworking, and doesn't mess around when it comes to customer service super responsive and easy to work with.

Prior to this repair ive hired Greg for a full HVAC install too. He removed our old rooftop unit, installed a new condenser on the ground, put the furnace in the attic, and ran all new ductwork. They also tapped it into the existing system. Everything was clean, tight, and efficient. He also set up a three zone system that saves so much on MID electric bill. His great work is the reason we hired him again.

Pricing was fair, communication is solid, and the team had a great attitude the whole time. Just good, honest work from people who know what they're doing. Oh yeah, reliable!
