From start to finish, Roto Rooters was excellent. I had a shower drain clog with some nasty black water, and I made an appointment Friday evening for Saturday morning. I got a confirmation call immediately, and the plumber Richard was outstanding. Even though it took quite a while because the clog was particularly bad, Richard stuck to it and fixed the issue. He was knowledgeable and efficient, and I could not ask for a better technician.

I am updating my original review after an extremely disappointing and costly experience with Roto-Rooter. I was charged over $4,000 for a simple pipe clog that reoccurred within 24 hours of their “repair.” When I contacted the company, their customer service was unacceptable. The managers I dealt with were dismissive, argumentative, and repeatedly blamed me for the issue, insisting it was my fault the pipe was clogged.

When I escalated to the branch manager, Larry, he stated he “stands behind his guys’ work,” despite clear evidence that the job was not done correctly. It took several days to obtain the camera footage they recorded, which was conveniently missing about 30 feet of the pipeline.

I later hired another plumbing company, which thoroughly explained and documented the errors Roto-Rooter made and confirmed this company’s reputation for substandard work.

Roto-Rooter charged thousands of dollars, failed to resolve the problem, and treated me with complete disrespect when I sought help. Their lack of professionalism, accountability, and integrity is alarming. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to take their business elsewhere.

The office person was very helpful and kept us informed on when we could expect arrival.
The tech person was very polite and provided all the information we needed to decide what to do. He worked quickly and carefully. He kept us informed throughout the process. He took great care to be sure everything was working properly before he left.

The job took 10 days from start to finish. Anthony did what he could, even in the pouring rain. Joel, Teddy and Ozzie collectively followed through until the job was completed! Thank you all.

We had an incredible experience with Ozzy and Sergio from Roto-Rooter Ventura! They showed up within the hour and immediately got to work diagnosing a major plumbing issue on our film set.

Unlike the last plumber who just put a temporary fix on the problem, Ozzy and Sergio went above and beyond to make sure everything was thoroughly cleared and repaired so our production could continue without interruption.

They were fast, professional, communicative, and extremely thorough—explaining everything clearly along the way. On top of that, they left absolutely no mess behind and made sure the area was spotless before leaving.

We’re so grateful for their hard work and efficiency under time pressure. I’ll 100% be calling them again for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend Ozzy, Sergio, and the Roto-Rooter Ventura team!

Great communication & response time: Quick response to my initial text, then very good updates as they dispatched a drain plumber. They text you a link to a live map of where's the technician and the ETA. Joel was super professional and courteous, good listener, explained all the steps, went above and beyond. Minus 1 star due to the high price -- $350 to unclog a slow drain seems high. He said that's their standard price to snake a drain, but TBH I don't think the drain needed to be snaked, I think it would've worked to clean out the plug, trap, and pipe to the wall using one of those plastic hair-grabbers and a long bottle brush. I could be wrong. But IMO they should offer a lower-tier offering where they simply clean out the plug & trap, see if it's fixed, and stop there for a cheaper price.

The team from Roto-Rooter did a great job on my sewer line project, very experienced, very professional. They explained in great depth the process and reasoning behind the step needed to complete the project. They set and met, the timeline for each step, with zero delays. Would strongly recommend them.

The team here is incredible. We were dealing with a sudden and REALLY bad issue, and needed help during the night on a super rainy night. Roto-rooter was out here within the hour remedying the issue. The next day, their techs Jose and Teodoro came out with the project manager Osbaldo. These three are incredibly professional. When i say this issue was bad, i mean very bad, and very stressful. This team diagnosed the issue quickly, made sure that i understood everything that they were finding every step of the way (as someone with no real plumbing experience), and were SUPER thorough in documenting everything. Any help I requested, they were there. Osbaldo put in extra hours over the weekend to get me a detailed invoice by when I needed it. They made the repairs quickly, and fixed an emergency issue that hasn’t resurfaced since. These guys are pros, through and through. I hope I don’t need to call them again soon, but if an issue comes up, I know exactly who to turn to.

Nice guys. When they couldn't come out at night, one of them talked me through to confirm I had turned the water off properly (i had). Unfortunately there was a communication breakdown between the two of them. So the second gent came out in the morning not knowing the diagnosis of the first gent and not knowing the brand or style of fixture that needed a part. So the process took longer than expected...but was still pretty darn prompt!!

Teddy was super prompt, professional, and polite in dealing with our water emergency this Sunday. He was very tidy and left our place cleaner than it was prior to his arrival. The company’s fees were the best we’ve seen. We’ll 100% be using Teddy and RoRoRooter in the future!

Definitely worth the money. Vicente and Eduardo came out and handled business. I had a soft stoppage in a 3 story unit and they not only cleared it but were in constant communication with me about what was going on. They sent a camera in to diagnose the problem and went to work. They were professional and explained everything as they went. They cleaned up after themselves and left the place like new. I'll definitely be recommending them for sure

I had a plumber from Roto-Rooter come out on December 23 for a clogged kitchen sink. I was charged $420 and told the issue was fixed.

After returning from vacation, I noticed a strong musty, wet wood smell coming from under my sink. When I checked, I discovered the pipes had been leaking continuously, soaking the cabinet wood underneath.

The Plummer mentioned he changed the pipes and all was good. As I noticed the poor smell I looked under my sink to investigate and noticed he pipes were loose and they were cut crooked causing them not to align properly. This prevented the pipes from fitting or sealing correctly. When I gently checked the pipes, the entire assembly came down, making it clear nothing had been properly tightened or secured. This was not misuse on my part — the failure was due to improper workmanship. Because of this poor installation, water had been leaking the entire time causing major water damage under my sink.

I paid a high price expecting professional work, but instead was left with leaking pipes and water damage under my sink. Very disappointed and would not recommend based on this experience.

Had our pipes back up . We needed a quick emergency fix. Blown away with the speed at which our technician showed up. He was very kind very patient Very knowledgeable as well. Understand that plumbers aren’t cheap before the quality of service and speed. These guys are great.

Alejandro and Vicente did a great job fixing our blocked drain. They were very willing to take their time to explain the problem and consulted me about options for preventing the issue in the future. Roto Rooter was very quick to respond to my request and had a technician arrive within a couple of hours. I continue to be pleased with their service and will be a repeat customer whenever the next plumbing issue arises.

Marco and his supervisor from Roto-Rooter were beyond great, professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The company’s response was awesome and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the service. We highly recommended them. They are open 24/7 if you have any plumbing issues. Thank you and we appreciate for coming in this morning.

Shower knob stopped working, could not turn off water which ran uncontrollably.

I have used Mike Kimble Plumbing for over 25 plus years and the service level is excellent. Quality work makes the job cost reasonable from my experience with Kimble Plumbing.

Kimble plumbing has always taken care of my plumbing problems and not just plumbing. They came out and installed my new gas stove. Added a gas connection I needed. No problem for Kimble plumbing. Mr. Kimble came to our home to review what was to be done before we installed the stove. 5 star customer service. I highly recommend them.

Love love Mike Kimble Plumbing, there is a reason they are rated so highly in VC reader's choice. They helped my mother and I fix up our downstairs bathroom--replaced the toilet. Scott was great at his job and courteous. We had previous up charges and outright fraud from Dutton. They previously actually broke our pipe intentionally to charge for services that weren't needed. I am very happy with the service from Mike Kimble Plumbing and will use them again.
