Highly recommend Leapfrog. PG&E knocked on our door and say we had a small gas leak and they were shutting off our gas until we had it fixed. We were quite angry that PG&E laid this on us during a pandemic, forcing us to spend money and come into contact with people.
Nevertheless, we called LeapFrog and they couldn't have been more helpful. Worked with us to come to a workable and affordable solution with running a new gas line. Kevin and Josh did great work and were very nice. And they were flexible on scheduling.
If you have any need for a plumber, call Leapfrog! -
I called Leapfrog for an estimate on swapping out a instant hot water heater. They said they were backed up and if I sent a photo of the current hot water they would send me an proposal the next morning. I did that and next morning came. No proposal. I called and was told they were backed up and would receive it by end of day. End of day came and nothing received. Poor service. If they can't follow through on a proposal, how can you feel comfortable hiring them?

This company has extremely polite drivers. Had a very positive interactive with one of their vehicles. This suggests that they generally take a professional approach, and I would call them if I needed a plumber.

A friend recommended LeapFrog and a hot water pump. LeapFrog installed a hot water pump above our water heater and “comfort valves” under our kitchen sink and under the bathroom sink nearest our shower. I have the pump plugged into an Alexa smart plug so we can turn it on with an Alexa routine I wrote and named Hot Water. It turns the pump on for three minutes, just enough to heat the water from the hot tap at the kitchen sink or in our bathroom so we don’t have to run water in the sink until it gets hot. LeapFrog did a quick and neat job. We are very happy with our almost instant hot water. The plumber who did the work was a great guest while he was here.

Everyone in this organization is top flight!
Great workmenship, on time, easy to book an appointment, answers emergency calls and reasonably priced. Maurice has put together a great team from top to bottom. Thank you. -
These guys did a great job for me. Answered my call and got over to my house when they said they would! Armando was extremely professional. He diagnosed the issue, gave me two quotes and then showed up and did the work as described in the estimate. Appreciated the effort!!

We've used LeapFrog Plumbing for numerous things from replacing toilets and faucets and drain unclogging. Every time we've had contact with them they've been very friendly and done a fantastic job. Will definitely continue to use them in the future.

Came out to replace our water heater. They were super nice and easy to work with. They also brought everything up to code and installed it safely. LeapFrog Plumbing has a great service and I highly recommend them!

The worker did a great job and so fast. There was a leak and our bill went from almost $500.00 to over $100.00! Amazing!
Thank you Leap Frog!! -
I needed to replace my gas tank hot water heater. It was over 14 years old and showing signs of failure. I pondered the possibility of a gas tankless heater. I was just not sure of 1 the availability of hot water on demand quickly. 2. The cost to run the dedicated gas l8ne and cost of installation.
I did a lot of research. Found the Navien tankless heaters were a very dependable and well made unit. I searched the Navien site for licensed installers and started setting up estimates.
I called 4 different companies. 2 were large corporate chains and 2 local plumbers. The large corporate chain companies were so high priced I quickly set them aside.
Then I called Carol at Leap Frog Plumbing. Nice friendly and very professional. She set me up an appointment so they could see exactly what I had and give me estimates on a tank and a tankless unit so I could make a financial decision.
On the day of my appointment a Gentlemen by the name of Kevin showed up. Not 2 hours late like others. Kevin showed up 15 minutes early. He went over both options tank and tankless. He offered more than the big chain corporate companies and was very knowledgeable about the unit I wanted. Kevin basically was the one that made my decision to go with Leap Frog.
Leap Frog gave me more for my money than the other 3 companies.
I called Carol and asked when can they install the tankless unit. I explained I wanted Kevin as my Installer. Carol set me up with the appointment date.
The appointment date came and again 15 minutes early here comes Kevin with Josn. What a great team. They went to work immediately. They were fast, professional and immaculate. They explained everything as they ran new dedicated gas lines, their plumbing to the tankless is like a work of art. When they fin8shed they left my garage cleaner than when they came. Kevin and Josh are a well organized team. You could tell they are well matched and get professional results. Thank you Leap Frog. Especially Carol, Kevin and Josh. Couldn't be happier. And I love the tankless unit too. -
Came out on time. Professional, efficient, personable. We are now enoying our new tankless water heater. They did a great job--thank you!
Several weeks after the installation of our water heater we began having problems and discovered serious mishandling of our installation. LeapFrog was reluctant to take responsibility for the poor quality of their work. The office staff was rude and resistant in to trying to help us get someone out to fix the much needed repair. This proved to be a costly, difficult experience. Beware! -
Outstanding, careful work.
The gas line leading from the meter to our house ruptured, leaving us without heat during a recent cold spell.
Since it was an older line it needed to be replaced. We got several quotes to trench and replace the 100-foot line.
LeapFrog's quote was in the middle of the range in terms of expense, but had the best opinion on the work and what we felt was the most appropriate solution.
Lindsey took care of all the scheduling and coordination. She was very responsive and met all her commitments.
Since the trench would be dug right through older planting areas with mature trees and shrubs, she sent Hugo, their landscape specialist, to oversee the work.
Hugo found a creative path through the 100-foot run that avoided most roots. His lead Hector, and the rest of the team very carefully dug with small hand tools, carefully preserving the plants. I was impressed that they put all the excavated dirt in buckets or neatly on tarps. There was no damage to the landscaping.
Once the trench was dug, Kevin and Josh laid the new poly pipe and tracer wire, fitted a galvanized run, and secured all connections. It took them all day to snake it through beneath roots and other obstacles, but they too did careful work.
By that evening, I was able to call PG&E to turn my gas back on.
The following day, Saturday, Hector's team came back to fill in the trench. They did such a remarkable job of restoring the site that you cannot tell where the trench was dug. Incredible.
I'm very impressed with the work that LeapFrog did. I'm grateful for the care they took in preserving my plants, despite the challenge of routing the underground pipe.
Everyone I dealt with at LeapFrog was clear, skilled, and pleasant. I'm delighted with the work and the results. -
On time, friendly, no upsell just gets the job done. They unclogged my sewer in no time, and very reasonably priced. Really appreciate you guys!

These guys are unbelievable! Our water heater went out on the Thursday before the Veterans Day holiday. The office was able to reach Maurice on his way home and he was able to come by, assess the situation and give us a quote for a new water heater. And that was replaced the next day. Amazing!

Kevin was great. Knew his stuff and fixed the problem with some figuring out. Very nice guy and great plumber. The problem was he found a new problem of mold under the house and said he would get me an estimate. He said the company would call and send estimate and we could figure out a time to fix. Never got an estimate. Still waiting.

LeapFrog has consistently been reliable and provided excellent service. Every person with whom we've had contact has been courteous and helpful. We especially want to thank Ian for being not only personable, but also great at diagnostics, repair, and installation.

Our 20 year old tanked heater finally gave out last weekend. I called one plumber who advertised 24 hour/7 day availability for emergencies and left a message. After not hearing back for an hour (they eventually called back approximatelyfour hours later), I called Leapfrog and got a call back within half an hour.
After initially telling me they were booked up until Tuesday, I asked if someone could just tell me whether my problem could wait until then or if I should keep trying different plumbers until I could get one to come out. The receptionist placed me on hold for two minutes, then told me they'd have someone come by to inspect it within two hours.
The plumber Ian showed up within the window, was very professional and friendly, and examined my water heater. He said there was a leak, and while I wasn't in imminent danger of a catastrophic breakdown, given that the heater was more than twice as old as the average lifespan for that model, I should think about replacing it.
I told him I'd already had a quote from another company for a tankless heater four months ago, when I had another issue with the tanked heater, and asked if Leapfrog installed them. After he said they did and inspected the property, I pulled up the quote for him to review. He said that they used Rinnai heaters, rather than Navien (which is what the first quote was for) but he'd call Maurice (the owner) to get a quote. After a few minutes, he got off the phone and said they could beat the price by $200.
Because the heater was being installed on the side of the house, I needed a power outlet installed next to it. Ian gave me the number of a construction company that does any electrical work Leapfrog needs done and scheduled the installation for Tuesday (which was three days later).
On Tuesday, Ian was back with another plumber on the early side of the appointment window. Both guys were great, worked hard, and had the job done about an hour before they'd estimated it'd be done, even though it included a lot of work in the crawlspace, which is awful at our house. The bill was the same as the estimate, with no surprise charges.
We're about 10 days into having the new tankless heater and are very pleased with it. I'd definitely recommend Leapfrog to anyone looking for an honest, capable plumber. -
Great service! I will only ever use these friendly faces for my house plumbing needs!
Not only are they friendly, but they also have the hearts of teachers and mind of engineers who will find the best fit for your home and explain why the other routes won't work as well.
We had them do our Toilet, Water Heater, and shower repair. All 3 with amazing grace. Thanks Leap Frog!
