I recommend Leapfrog Plumbing whole heartedly! The whole experience was very good, from the estimate to completion of the installation of the new toilet.

Mauricio gave us a very thorough evaluation of our problem with some environmentally responsible solutions. There was no charge for this visit Armando came the next day and installed our new toilet. He was very friendly and polite. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Our water heater failed over a weekend, water leaking out everywhere. We called Leapfrog first thing Monday morning and they got back to us within 15 minutes. The owner, Maurice, came out that day to inspect and give us an estimate. Maurice talked about options, looked at the system in the house and recommended a few different new water heater options. Estimates were very fair. Kevin and then Leapfrog crew came out the next day to install our new water heater. Maurice came out again to check in with the crew and make sure everything was going well. We had hot water back in a day. Maurice is kind, professional and very responsive. Kevin did a great job, work was neat and professional. They seemed to really care that we didn’t have hot water and had a sense of urgency to get it fixed for us. That was so refreshing. They came back a few days later to make sure that everything was running properly and answer any questions we had. Leapfrog exceeded all expectations and helped us when we were in a tough spot. I strongly recommend Leapfrog for plumbing needs.

This is our go to for plumbing needs… always reliable, friendly, and available. They always solve our problem. One time, no one was available (everyone was out on calls), and the owner serviced us. I like it - willing to step in and help out. We were so appreciative.

A guy came out and did something $425 later I still have the exact same problem.
I called back and was treated so hostile with an angry aggressive extremely hyper receptionist— Maybe she was in a hurry to close up and get someplace but wow!!!

I am a contractor and pretty picky with trades people. I find that LFP does excellent work at a fair price. The employees are intelligent and able to figure out challenging situations.

Our projects w them so far:
- tankless water heater (why did I wait so long).
- sump pump tied into sewer which was working well during yesterday's atmospheric river.
- redoing other contractors' mess with appropriate, thoughtful design/repair so that we could have a working shower in our newly remodeled ADU.

Leapfrog recently installed a replacement kitchen faucet for us. The man came as planned and quickly performed the installation. A very rewarding experience!

They were very knowledgeable and helped me select a great new water heater. They were fast, friendly and professional with their sales, installation and support. They came out twice after the install to modify the system to suit our needs. They have very fair prices as well.

Came within a couple days to look at the job. Helpful at figuring out what to do and what order, and what might or might not make sense. Scheduled the follow-up and actual work a day or two later, they came on time and did a great job. Overall, they were great. Not cheap mind you, (but less than the other quote that i got), but a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call them next time I have a plumbing issue that I can't fix myself.

Always my FIRST choice for ANY plumbing needs. This company operates from a place of integrity, honesty, and quality of work. As we’ve all experienced in the past with OTHER plumbing companies (who literally rob you blind - I could go ON), this is NOT one of those. Leap Frog consists of a team of people you can TRUST. Leap Frog also hires GREAT technicians. And you can always get an appointment.

I will not hire LeapFrog Plumbing again. On the first visit, the technician stood in my garage waiting an hour for Rannai technical support to answer his call. He never got through. He found a screw that needed to be replaced. He installed a "temporary" screw and charged me over $250 for the visit. He said he would order the correct screw and return to complete the project. Before he left, I asked him to have Rannai technical support on the line before he began billing me for the second visit.

During his second visit, he spent an hour diagnosing the problem with Rannai technical support and advised me that I needed a $1,000 repair part. I told him I would prefer to purchase a new water heater. I paid his second bill and said, "Thank you."

The following day, we discovered water leaking from our water heater, flooding our garage floor. I turned off the water, turned off the gas, and turned off future dealings with LeapFrog Plumbing. By the way, Rannai referred LeapFrog to me as a certified repair company.

Plumbers are now getting paid by their customers for on-the-job training. Interesting!

Toilet wasn’t working, Leap frog plumbing came out to my residence quickly and fixed the problem the next day. They are very professional and I would recommend them if you need any plumbing services.

This is the second time I have used Leapfrog. My first experience was positive, but my second was not. I was charged nearly $800 for some straightforward replacements (stop valve, flapper, and fill valve) on two toilets. I emailed the owner, but he never responded. I will not use their services again.

I had a leak from a very old garbage so I called LeapFrog to come check it out. When a technician came I asked to replace to the one I already have. The technician told me it cost $489 to change it. I was very hesitant to accept the price but I also didn't want to call another company and wait longer. So I said fine. It was the biggest mistake. After he replaced the garbage disposal, he told me he actually has a new garbage disposal in his car and the price is inclusive with the garbage disposal. Not only that he didn't tell me this information until he finished installation, he did not take the old garbage disposal. I did not feel he was genuine to me. He mentioned that he can caulk our faucet, since the caulking around the faucet is torn, for $289. There is no way I am going back to this company for any plumbing issues. Such a rip off.

Update:
2-3 months after the above incident, I got a call from a manger of the company, apologizying the stress it caused to me and refunded me the fee I overpaid. I'm very happy to see that they actually have a good audit system (they read my Google review and did an investigation). So my star went up from 1 to 3. It didn't get 5 stars because the technician should not have acted how he did to begin with.

Needed a new kitchen faucet installed and didn't want to do the job myself as the pipes are very old and delicate with lots of corrosion on them. I bought my replacement faucet and called LeapFrog Plumbing, on a recommendation, and the person I spoke with on the phone was very professional and courteous. We figured out a day and time for an appointment and the tech dispatched was on time, courteous, and a huge help. The install was not easy due to a variety of reasons, but the tech persevered and saved the day for me. I was quoted a price for the faucet install which was accurate and told there might be additional fees depending on what else needs to be done which I'm fine with, but the markup on an angle stop valves is egregious. I wish I would have had some indication I'd be charged nearly $200 for an angle stop, especially when Ace Hardware is right down the block and I could have grabbed the part quickly myself.

Once again, I'm very appreciative of the help and everyone was professional, but let's not get greedy with markups.

Cleaned out shower hose connection so water pressure could return to normal. Took maybe 15 minutes. Charged $249.
