Kevin had been amazing to work with. He is very responsive and reliable. I needed help with short term mowing, edging and weed and feed on a rental property for a couple of months. Kevin was able to step right in, get me on the schedule and keep the partially new lawn looking great while I had the house on the market. If there were dry spots, he took the time to reach out and let me know so I could increase watering, etc. I highly recommend Kevin for anyone that is looking for reliable lawn service.

Based solely on the end product, it would be 5 stars without question. Our finished borders look amazing.

I took off a star because we did have some issues with the initial installation. As is often the case, our issues were mainly due to some miscommunications. We wanted them done a certain way and the designer said it could done that way, but then they changed some things when they did the install. The explanation for why they made the changes was reasonable (tight spacing in our small yard), but it resulted in some inconsistencies that looked bad. We ultimately changed the design when the owner came and met with me.

I have to strongly disagree with the reviews that are claiming poor customer service. My experience is completely different, I think they did a great job from a customer service perspective. As soon as I saw the issues, I contacted the company and explained my concerns. They asked that I take some photos and send them the photos. Once they got the photos, they agreed my concerns were valid and agreed to redo the job. There was no fighting, no arguing, no attempt to blame me.

It was a little frustrating that it took several weeks for it to be redone, but I understand their business model and how they rotate their crew to different locations (northern Colorado one week, southern Colorado the next, etc.). I also understand how their schedule can be impacted by things like the weather and how that can make scheduling somewhat imprecise. I followed up with them regularly (probably more than they would have liked!) and they were friendly and responsive every time.

Overall, it wasn’t a perfect experience so I can’t give 5 stars. But they did an excellent job in dealing with our issues, so I’ll gladly give them 4 stars and I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to use them again! And did I mention that the borders look amazing?

If you want a strip of cement in the middles of your yard, thinking you are getting a flower bed created, this is the company. These guys talk a good game but the work is mediocre. They just dumped cement curbing and left me with all the grass in my 'flower bed' for me to take care of! NO company has done this to me before, I have had other projects and NO ONE has left me like this. We are 65+ years old, and a year later we are STILL struggling to get the grass out. We have paid out of pocket for tillers and still no luck. When I asked about the grass issue they told me it was my problem and I never specified to have the grass taken out. Who creates a new flower bed and leaves the grass in the bed??? The other curbing companies never asked me, they just did it. These guys are useless.

We had L & B replace our old steel edging in the back yard and old, cracked concrete border in the front yard with new contract borders. They did an excellent job from initial contact, demo/prep and final construction. They were on time, took care to minimize impact on surrounding landscaping and cleaned up after they were all finished. Everyone we interacted with on their team were professional and attentive to our project. We couldn't be more pleased with our new borders. The color and stamp pattern compliments the existing stone work in the yard. We had someone step on the border after it was poured but before it dried and they quickly made the repair for us so everything matched. We'd highly recommend them.

L&B has been wonderful to work with. This is our second time using them. Loved the borders so much, we added more! They make it easy and the work is quality!

We are so happy with our newly completed concrete border . It looks beautiful and gives our yard a very finished look. The estimator was so polite and knowledgeable, not to mention the estimate was so reasonable much less then another company. The office staff was very helpful and answered all questions and emails in a timely manner. The person who did the sealing a few days later was also very helpful and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had and gave me additional information about the borders as well. My only very minor complaint was during the design process when the owner came out on a Saturday to discuss color and stamp . He was a bit short and not too personable- but I imagine it was due to it being a a Saturday, super hot outside and one of his trucks being out of commission. We forgive him as every other piece of the process was great!!

L&B has done a great job with our concrete edging! They came out promptly for the quote and were able to get us scheduled shortly after that for the work. I was impressed by how quickly they finished it all while also being such high quality. I also appreciate the speed of their responses any time I had questions. I would definitely recommend them!

The process of having our concrete landscape borders installed was seamless from beginning to end! Every step was explained thoroughly to us, so we knew what to expect. Once the first crew came out and dug the trench, it went very quickly after that. We were also able to add borders to our front garden bed with the design team after we had gotten the initial quote. If you really dislike the plain metal edging that surrounds the beds in your yard, change them to these beautiful concrete borders! We highly recommend L&B’s Concrete Landscape Borders – they were a pleasure to work with!

We love our borders, they did a great job! Very nice and helpful people to work with. I would use them again and highly recommend.

Year two of my Holiday Lights and I added a tree in my back yard so I can enjoy them from my kitchen window. The crew was great with the tree in the back which is in a difficult area due to a retaining wall. They are great at communicating when they'll be out to install and uninstall. It truly makes me happy when I pull up to my house and see the lights.

Shady business practices. They will give you an estimate of when they can come out to do the work (4-6 weeks) then 5 weeks into the waiting period tell you its another 4-6 weeks. When you call every week they say they have you on schedule and will let you know. In fact, do not have you on schedule. Then try to charge you a 20% cancelation fee. DO NOT HIRE THIS SHADY BUSINESS

From start to finish, L & B's Borders was extremely helpful, easy, and responsive to work with. Their crews were professional and worked well together. Their work was done quickly and with high quality. I highly recommend L & B!

L & B’s Concrete Borders did an outstanding job! The salesman “Jake” came over to do an estimate and he really knows what he is doing! He was able to answer any questions we had. The concrete borders look absolutely amazing and really elevate the look of our yard. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

The whole experience with L&B was great from our perspective. We had well over 1000 ft of curbing at our home in FL and wanted to have some poured when we moved to CO. L&B did a great job and was responsive throughout the entire process. Our neighbor behind us is due to have them come out soon to pour his curbs. Another neighbor will most likely be calling them soon.

Had a great experience communicating with Tracy regarding what we wanted for our kids playground. She was professional, attentive and extremely nice.
Our kids love the playground especially the moon design which they had been asking for once they found out we were thinking about a rubber playground floor.
They started their job with us very close to what we had initially scheduled the only thing is that it took longer to finish than what we were told. We were given an estimated time of one week and it took more but we were fine with that.
There are several spots where it looks like the rubber wasn't spread correctly and you can see some uneveness on the floor.
Workers were nice and friendly just wished they would inform us when they were done for the day (they would arrive and then just disappear without informing anyone they were done).
Overall, we are happy with our rubber floor.

We contracted with L&B for Oelo permanent house lighting. Great communications and when there was an issue someone came right out to fix it.

L&B’s is awesome to work with. Everything from the initial quote, to the design, to them being flexible when issues arise. Jimmy is knowledgeable, prompt, and their work product is great. I highly recommend L&B’s. We are very happy with our border project.

Before you read Google reviews look at Yelp reviews. 2.3 stars seems more accurate. I will keep it short and simple sticking strictly to the facts and my experience with this company. I received a quote in September was told our project would be scheduled for 6-8 weeks from that time. Followed up 8 weeks later and told the design team would call me but were not given a timeframe. I was again contacted in November and was told they were done for the season. I didn’t hear anything for months from the company. I received a call today and said my design appointment was scheduled for tomorrow. After telling them I had not heard from them in months we decided to go another direction. Less than five mins later I get a call from “Tracey” who was very condescending and rude. She kept telling me I signed a contract and that I owe a 20% cancellation fee because they “kept me on the schedule.” She said they forecast expenses and advertising based up on their scheduling. Tracey continued to remind me how long the company has been in business and kept hiding behind the contract. So essentially I was charged 20% for someone from the company to measure my yard. Zero communication for months and then a very rude non customer friendly experience with Tracey. So if you value your time or being treated like a valued customer I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.

After a rocky start with L&B and a communication problem they have completed my landscape curbing and I am very pleased. The crew was very efficient and respectful of our property. They were here when they said they would be and started work immediately. The look of the final product is just what we were looking for.

We are so greatful to them. We had several quotes. But made an error and did an all in one yard person. They could not do curbs. We were mid project when we had to stop work when we saw the quality of the curbs. L and B was able to add us to the schedule the next week so we didn't have to delay work. After seeing both companies. I would definitely recommend. Worth the extra time of having each specialized trade do their thing.
