There is a great selection here and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, 2 of the house plants I brought home were infested with pests. The spiral croton has spider mites and the kiwi aeonium has mealy bugs. None of my other plants have ever had pests, and now I'm worried about the rest of my collection. When I bought the spiral croton, it had a powdery white-ish residue on the leaves. I didn't think much of it because I thought it might just be mineral deposits from hard water. However, I now suspect that this residue might have been from an insecticide and the spider mite infestation was not eradicated before I brought it home. I wish I would have saved my receipt, as others have said Tagawara Gardens will give in-store credit for these types of things. If you purchase here, be sure to save your receipt and quarantine your plants for a few weeks before placing them around other plants.

Tagawa Gardens is getting ready for Spring. Their planters and hanging baskets are not released for sale, yet, but they will be in about two weeks. The roses are already waking up. I'm looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks and seeing everything that's ready to buy.

My first trip to this garden center went pretty well. They have a nice selection of indoor plants, decorations, pots, etc. I must say that their prices are pretty high, mostly on common plants

Absolutely in love with this place. They have everything under the sun and take great care of their plants. I could spend all day here. Y’all aren’t hiring a new plant hobbyist by chance, are you!?

Wow. They have everything!!! So many plants at multiple price points. Animals allowed. Accessible parking and access. Restrooms inside. Indoor plants, rare plants, outdoor plants, succulents, cacti, pots, bird feeders, bird seed, tools, mulch, soil, trees, everything. I'll never be going to Lowes for plants again! I saw delivery trucks and curbside pickup as well. Lots of parking and LOTS of plants!
Accessibility: yes; there are a few drain cuts (?) on the floor inside but they are covered with a metal sheet. Aisles are good size.

Staff: kind and are available to give advice or answer questions
Restrooms: yes
Atmosphere: warm in the summer heat, but not unbearable. It a greenhouse, not really a "building".
Animals: dogs allowed on leash
Kid Friendly: yes, but a few breakable things! There is a fish pond inside to look at!

I wanted to support a local nursery but needed assistance with several things. I kept getting bounced around to other people, left & forgot about for fifteen minutes, and when I finally found another person to try to help me again, I was brought to another staff member who was busy talking with a friend. She unenthusiastically walked me toward some plants to look at so she could go back to her much more interesting conversation with her friend.
I kept waiting and trying to solicit more help from the various help desks, in between wandering in a circle trying to find certain products I needed, until I had been there for an hour & a half with no luck getting anybody to help me anymore.

This is a great place if you don’t need any assistance in finding things. Might be worth calling ahead to see if anybody is willing to actually help you before you drive up, otherwise you’re on your own.

One of the bigger garden centers in the Denver Metro area (located in Parker). This place not only has a huge variety of plants and trees, but a big selection of flower pots, bird baths and garden products. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice..

I had called ahead and talked to a person in the lawn department and confirmed with them that they were to have in stock three items that I was looking for. I got to the store and spoke with five different people who could not tell me where the lawn department was. After I found the sign that they told me to look for which was placed in front of the kiosk where people stand so you cannot see the sign, the sign on top said Rose Help, I then asked about the three items I was looking for. I was told they didn't have them and we went looking to see what they had. The primary item I was looking for the employee found something completely different, he took me to the herb seed section. I had asked about getting white clover for a 6x6 area, have been told that they had it, got there and they had it for a 1200 square ft area. I went to the perennial section found a very nice helpful person and then after I describe a flower that bloomed once a year in spring she took me to the annual section. On our way there I confirmed that she knew that annual meant that it died every year, she continued on and didn't pause. We got to the annual section and the person there had no idea on where to find flowers similar to what I was looking for. The lady from the perennial section then walked over one aisle and found a set of flowers similar to what I was looking for. I wandered around some more spent 30 minutes looking at roses, some had aphids, and picked out a rose bush, there was a sign advertising a special sale on the 19th of April. I put the rose bush on my cart and proceeded to look throughout the store. An employee stopped me and told me it was against the law for them to sell the Rose before the 19th but I could come back for their special sale. I checked with the state of Colorado and there isn't such a law, they require that the root systems reach a certain amount of growth before being made available however it's not specified when they can sell them. So in conclusion nice people, completely incompetent, and misrepresent things. I see no need to go back.
Update: 4/20/2024 Even though I was pretty put off by the misrepresentation given over the phone I do strive to give a business 3 chances when a mistake happens. I went back two more times, another nice person in perennials, unaware of what they had in the store, searched for something which she had moved that morning (I saw it the first visit), couldn't find it so I had to search and find it myself. Different people in annuals, again no clue what they had or where. Did find some other cute perennials. Went back Friday the 19th and found the Roses that I was looking at, much worse for wear, I don't think they were watered properly. Got them home and isolated and in the morning found them infested with aphids.

We always get our Christmas tree from Tagawa. The trees are always great, fresh and long lasting, the staff are super helpful and friendly. It’s a nice garden center that cares and it shows. Nov 2022

New favorite nursery. Stunning plants, great prices, amazing selection, helpful staff. I found tuberous begonias for the first time in several years and they are so robust! Originally came in looking for my prickly pear cactus. I’m so happy with my new plants and can’t wait to purchase more.

This place is beautiful! The giant water can water feature is super cool! The staff is happy to answer questions or direct you. Sign up to be a member for a daily discount every time you shop! We love to wander here as a date activity. This place is worth checking out year round!

Really nice place. They sell flowers and plants of all types. They have helpful tips and classes for growing plants and having a successful garden. Every year my family get plants from this place. They used to have a fish pond, but I’m pretty sure they got rid of it, because last time I was there, the pond was not. They take good care of the plants before you buy them, so you get them in the best condition.

Spent $100 on a dragon tree for it to end up infested with spider mites within a week. This was my only plant in my house at the time so I know it didn’t come from anything else, it’s pretty unfortunate because I try to support local nurseries to avoid issues like this! Customer service is also lacking a bit, I was made to feel like a burden when asking for assistance.

I love Tagawa Gardens! Such a great selection and helpful knowledgeable staff. Great plants, community events. They have a great selection of seasonal garden & home decor. Have some great fall & Halloween decor!!

Great place to shop for indoor and outdoor plants. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions you might have about plants. This place is bustling with activity during summers. Usually they accept coupons and they also have a loyalty program tied up to your phone number. Some plants are towards expensive side if you are comparing prices with Home Depot; Walmart; or Lowe’s. Quality and selection is awesome. We paid close to 50 $ for Hydrangeas ; that can bloom in full sunlight and we have had them come back after winters for the past three years. Ample parking space is available to customers although accessing the main entrance is always as issue with the incoming traffic and the U- turn we all have to take. Good place to shop if you are plant lovers👍🏽.

Wow. Really marvelous selection of very healthy plants. Just staggering. Almost too much to see in one visit. You can easily sign up online to get 20% off one item per day. Decent restrooms.

What a day!
My 2 daughters and I decided to go here today for a day date to pick out some new plants. On our way out, we noticed the paint-a-pot craft and decided to do it. The staff was very sweet and attentive.

Unfortunately, my 4 year old daughter saw the small hole in the bottom of the terra cotta pot and stuck her index finger in it. We immediately tried lotion, soap and water, ice pack, etc.
It got swollen so quickly that nothing was working, and it was starting to turn purple.
We called the non emergency paramedics to come help. Eventually, they had to break it and got it out.

I wanted to say a very special thank you to Lindsay. She was so incredible and kind to all of us, making sure that we were okay. She went to get my youngest a stuffed animal to hug. When the paramedics were working on my youngest
she immediately distracted my older daughter and took her to feed the fish. After everything, she took the time to sit down and finish the painting with my daughter. She made this whole experience less scary and stressful.
The staff was also very quick to get us help.

I am a photographer more than anything- So Tagawa gardens is a great place to take a few photos- my other half is a very talented gardener. She needed to pick up some flowers for her clients…. I took some shots. Tagawa gardens is a beautiful place for flowers, plants, trees and all thing garden. Very nice workers…. If you are in the area stop by and see these nice people.
