We had reached out to SavATree to request a consultation concerning the health of two large Maple trees on our property. They were visibly distressed and in need of some TLC, if they could be salvaged.

Every step of the process from consultation to estimate to scheduling to treatment application was very smooth and timely. When our specialist Haley arrived to apply the treatment, she was very courteous. She explained the details of the process and answered all of my questions.

I will continue to employ their services and highly recommend them to anyone seeking to improve and sustain the health of their landscape.

Gavin did a wonderful job on our property. SavATree has tackled all our landscaping needs for years and we couldn’t be more satisfied. From tree trimming and planting to weed control. Their staff always are kind, attentive and communicative, going out of their way to ensure the job is done completely.

I have been a customer of SavATree (originally Swingle, until they were bought by the corporation SavATree) since 2012. Today I cancelled all services with them. Why? Because they wanted to charge me $675 to reattach a support wire between two tree limbs where one side had detached. Maybe a 20 min job. I have spent over $7500 since 2012 with this company, and annually have been spending $600-$700 per year for the past few years. Do you think just MAYBE they might offer to do this for free, or maybe a minimal charge like $100, to reward a customer of 14 years who's spent thousands with them? Noooooo. I wrote them an email today cancelling all services, and explaining this was the reason why. Their response? Bye Bye! Not even a single sentence about "sorry to see you go" or "what can we do to keep your business?" Nope! Just "don't let the door hit you on your way out." I've had it with these big corporations taking over local businesses. I will ONLY spend my money with independent local businesses from now on, who actually CARE about their customers. And I intend to spread the word far and wide about SavATree.

Miguel and Pedro were amazing and really were thorough and helped in pointing out some things that were going on with the tree branches. Very good experience with SavATree to deep water our trees. The staff was courteous, professional.

We signed up for their lawn treatment program and were so dissatisfied after 2 treatments that I had to cancel. After the second treatment, our grass started to die where they sprayed, you could literally see the path of where the tech walked around and sprayed because all the grass had yellowed. They sent Geoff out to assess and I was given other excuses such as cutting the grass too short, too much water since we had a lot of rain, some sort of lawn disease, etc. I've never had this issue before, especially all over the lawn so I knew these things weren't the case. Geoff was a nice enough guy but they didn't take ownership of the issue. I finally have my grass starting to look better again after a lot of watering so I cancelled the service because I was worried the next treatment would just ruin any progress. I also repeatedly reminded them to put the lawn flags out after treating the lawn since there are a lot of dogs in my neighborhood and I didn't want to get them sick but they never did it. Overall, very disappointed as the lawn service is not cheap compared to doing it yourself and I made the mistake of thinking it would be any better. It was actually the opposite.

We have been using Savatree for many years. Today Oneal came to treat our ash tree for emerald ash borer. He was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Michael was prompt and had some good suggestions, I feel that I should wait until spring to do this, and the other tree trimming that is going to be required.

I initially contacted SavATree to spray a tree due to a yellow jacket issue, and they did a great job with that. During the visit, the technician also recommended a treatment to help keep my lilac plants healthier. I asked for a quote but did not agree to any further services.

Several months later, without any notice or appointment, they came back and sprayed the plants—then billed me for it. I called customer service to ask about the unexpected charge. They called me back and said there was nothing they could do because they had my signature. I explained that the technician had asked me to sign on her small iPad at the time of the original visit, and I believed I was only signing for the tree service that had just been completed.

I’m very disappointed with the lack of clear communication and how this was handled.

We have had multiple positive experiences with SavATree. Michael Gunther has been out to look at our Ash tree and also a lawn issue we had. He was on time, respectful, and knowledgeable. The treatment he recommended for our Ash saved it! We were so worried it would need to be cut down. Thank you for your expertise!

Your 3 tree trimmers, etc were on time, had their equipment and protection of bushes, rocks and hanging flowers, moved, covered and ready to begin thinning my large Silver Maple.
They did a magnificent job. Very courteous and answered all my concerns.

I had my five trees evaluated as two of them seem to be struggling. I signed up for two applications of a kelp/root stimulant. The first treatment was yesterday (7/1). Obviously I can’t yet speak yet to the effectiveness of it but working with SavATree has been great. Both the arborist who initially came out and the technician were terrific. Both were professional, informative, and on time.
I would definitely recommend SavATree.
