My Mother in Law & I absolutely love Tagawa and our outings there!
We have gone there three summers in a row now ans have not been disappointed yet. We went back for the exact rose bush we I purchased from them last year called Grandma's Blessing ( a stunning hot pink/color color) but found SO much more perennials and second color of roses called Outta The Blue to add to our garden this year.
Along with premium plants and trees the staff is knowledgeable and caring and more than happy to assist with questions of loading of purchases.
We definitely look forward to our trips here... whom knew gardening could be an excellent ans fun experience?

Great nursery! They have just about everything you’d need from a fully stocked nursery: indoor plants, outdoor, food garden, trees, soil, fertilizers, etc. the staff are very helpful too!

The fall festival was lots of fun. There were fun activities for the kids like headband making. My granddaughters chose to make bees. They also glued faces & accessories on a pumpkin. We went for a horse & wagon ride. The kids also did a scavenger hunt throughout the store. We saw part of the hawk show. There are lots of beautiful plants & accessories. My personal favorite is the fairy garden plants & accessories.

This is a very special place, in the heart of southeast metro Denver, across the road from my condo rental. The selection here is extraordinary. It is a rejuvenating place to just browse when one needs to see greenery especially during the browner times of year for our local High Plains ecology. I do think the prices here are crazy. I bought one gift for a colleague here a couple months ago. I wish there was some way to bring down the prices of plants, but I'm sure there are a host of economic factors making the prices so high. Otherwise, this place would have 5 stars. The murals, and very charming details to building facades and other structural features of the campus really do add to the aura of the whole place.

We visited this nursery on a Sunday afternoon.

Ample parking was available in the designated area behind the building. The selection was extensive, and the staff provided exceptional service. 👌

I highly recommend a visit.

I went into to check the place out since the greenhouse by me is now apartments. This place is huge and has an excellent selection of anything you possibly could need or didn't think you did. Or perhaps, just didn't realize that you needed something in your life. Tom G helped me out with the shrubs and trees out front. He was very friendly and had great knowledge of what my area would need. I definitely recommend this place and the drive is pretty worth it too.

I bet this place has anything you are looking for. Since they are local I think their prices tend to be higher than the big name stores so that is something to keep in mind. My friend and I wandered through most of the store and the variety is staggering. It was a nice warm spring day and business was booming. We only bought a garden ornament and a greeting card but got behind someone buying hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. Alas it was too late to move by the time I realized, lol. Everyone behind us had migrated to other lines. If they had a “10 items or fewer” kind of line that would be stupendous 🙂 The couple of staff members we spoke to were all helpful. We walked over from nearby but a good amount of parking.

I loved Tagawa Gardens! They have a huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants, many at reasonable prices. I brought home a Hoya, a Philodendron Rio and a nice Peperomia.

Great shopping experience on Small Business weekend! Garden center was gorgeous , all set up for Christmas. Tons of interesting poinsettias, Christmas trees and plant arrangements! Staff is super helpful and everyone got a thank you couple of poinsettias for coming in this weekend. Happy place to be.

I absolutely love this place and have been shopping here for years. Unfortunately, I picked up a few shade plants on Monday, and realised that I must have brought home some bugs with them. It’s Friday, and not only are these plants showing signs (they’ve been inside), but my vegetable garden that I’ve been growing from seed since the first week of April are now infected with thrips. I have no house plants, and all of my vege plants were thriving until this week. Can’t prove anything, but I can say that I am absolutely devastated to have my house infested with thrips and to have lost this year’s garden. 😢

Absolutely amazing garden center! I was beyond thrilled to visit and find such a massive variety of plants—everything from flowers, veggies, and fruits to rare and hard-to-find plants. The entire place was spotless, well-organized, and easy to navigate.

The employees were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where everything was, making my shopping experience even better. I’m especially excited about all the new plants they mentioned that will be available soon!

Beyond the plants, they have a fantastic selection of garden décor, and the prices are very fair. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is the perfect place to visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place. Everyone was extremely helpful. I bought the last pot of lilies for the season and one was about to bloom. The yellow lily in the photo is what bloomed.

If you are looking for rare or interesting plants to add to your collection, this is honestly the place!
Colorado weather has really been testing my skills to keep plants alive so I have decided to start building my indoor collection with unique and different plants. I was SO pleased with the selection here and I am literally here every week to see what new and interesting things have come it.

All of the plants in my indoor collection are from here and they are just beautiful!
All of the foliage is healthy and happy and the soil conditions are perfect for each plant. No spider mites or mold or crispy edges, just an endless selection of things I don’t need but desperately want in my collection.

The prices are also super reasonable and it keeps me from ordering from online vendors which can be dicey.

I usually repot my plants the moment I get home but I haven’t felt the need to with these plants. I have only repotted a few that quickly outgrew their little starter nursery pots and those are also still thriving.

And if I didn’t need another excuse to be here every week, they host Rare Plant vendors with insane inventory!

I have been to a NUMBER of other nurseries around Denver and I have yet to find one that can even come close to the variety, quality or value as Tagawa Gardens.

I won’t name names but I went to another nursery yesterday in the heart of Denver and generally felt like at any moment I could be part of a statistic of violence with screaming homeless and deranged individuals skulking around the nursery.
Needless to say, I won’t ever be going back and sticking to Tagawa because the environment here is tranquil and clean and safe.

It has definitely become my place to stroll when I’m feeling stressed because the staff is so kind and welcoming. I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner!

Do I spend too much here? Yes.
Will I keep going? Also Yes.
Do I have a plant buying problem? No Comment.

Also the best place if you love flowers, plants, gardening or just nature! I have been shopping here for almost 13 years. Mother day is the best celebration and I pick out a rose bush every year. The employees are always friendly and very knowledgeable. A++

Tagawa Gardens is not just the best garden center in Colorado — it’s one of the best experiences you can have in the state, period.

Super cute place. Very large with so many cool plants, garden statues, and pumpkins, very large pumpkins. We went for the Boo Hollow, which was super fun and cute. The people hosting that were all very nice and helpful. The actual garden center people didn't seem to friendly or helpful. Not one of them greeted me.

Nice place if you want to get Christmas/Holiday themed stuff. Trees, decorations, they got it all. Many different trees ranging from 1-20ft but they are very expensive. $150 dollars for one that is only 6-7ft tall. Luckily, you get 20% off each purchase.

They also have events like meeting Santa which is nice for kids and fun if you are nearby.

The atmosphere is nice inside and staff were kind.

Oneill did a great job fertilizing our trees and sharing some great information about each of them. Really impressed by his knowledge and very friendly and efficient experience.
