Sorry to say I won't be using these folks in the future. They have been servicing furnaces in some rentals I own for the last 8 years. This year I had a thermostat not working. First, I was quoted a price of $500 to replace the existing thermostat with one that retailed for $60. I said no thanks, can you fix the existing one? Bottom line, I was charged $420 for a furnace service and fixing the thermostat which consisted of stripping a couple of wires and replacing a fuse that took about 15 minutes.

Update: I was contacted by Advantage and as it turns out, the quotes were incorrect and they are crediting my account for the overcharge. Thanks Luis

A wonderful quality job was done by Brandan/Joe and Paul the sales guy. They were timely and didn't leave a speck. We have moved al of our HVAC and A/C work to Advantage....thanks guys

Advantage came out this week to fix an air conditioning leak that has been ongoing for 3 years now. Josh, Brandon, and James resolved the problem when other companies couldn’t and left us very satisfied with their work. It was a big job that they completed on time and in a professional manner. They left the sight clean when finished. We highly recommend Advantage Heating and Cooling.

Advantage Heating and Cooling exceeded my expectations.
My father had another company come to the house to clean the furnace,after 3 hours they had convinced him that he needed a new furnace, duct cleaning and a treatment to seal the ducts. I then called Advantage H&C for a second opinion about my fathers furnace. Paul and Taylor came out and looked it over and honestly told us that our current furnace had none of the issues stated by the other company. They did a thorough inspection and even cleaned the furnace!
I will just say the other company wasn't as "Awesome " as they stated.
I highly recommend Advantage H&C and if Paul and Taylor are a representation of their employees you can be sure you are getting honest, knowledgeable, and efficient service. I am beyond thankful for finding this company and will definitely be calling them again!

Contacted Advantage prior to moving to Colorado Springs for a quote to install a new HVAC system in the home we purchased. Paul Goetsch was very responsive on the phone and put together the quote and scheduled the installation which occurred several days after we moved in. Joseph and Isaiah managed the installation. Paul was there every step of the way with the process as well as follow-up on permits and ensuring our satisfaction. We know we can count on the support of Paul and his colleagues.

Brandon D came and fixed a mistake that a previous installer made and the whole experience was amazing. He's very informative very professional, and was very pleasant to be around and talk to. Definitely will be going through you guys from now on when we have any heating and cooling issues because of him, thanks so much for everything!

Needed my 30 year old furnace replaced and these guys did not disappoint. Reasonably priced, good communication, and installation was quick and seamless. I highly recommend Advantage Heating and Cooling after my experience with them in October 2025. What stood out initially was the in depth detail I was given on my very first phone call to get an estimate. I did have some numbers ready regarding what I needed and after mentioning those details, their Sales Manager Paul built a few estimates and talked me through them right on the spot. I did shop around other companies and received other estimates but no other company was as initially thorough as Paul and Advantage. Their price was appropriate and after explaining I needed the new furnace installed ASAP, Paul and his team were willing to commit to the job even though it required shifting their schedule around on short notice. They assured me my family would not have to go without heat for another night. That level of customer care really stood out to me. I was a stranger, not an acquaintance or relative, and they went above and beyond for me.

They were professional and courteous and didn’t have any hesitation about getting down in my crawl space for a difficult install and they did a great job. After an exhaustive search, in November 2025 I chose Advantage Heating and Cooling to replace my long-in-the-tooth heater and air conditioner. That choice was based on price, HVAC quality, and my belief that Advantage would provide high quality service and stand behind its installation. They did not disappoint on any of these factors. I was particularly impressed by their professional installers, Joseph, Branden, and Taylor, and their lead, Paul. Faced with a challenging venting situation for the high efficiency furnace, they did a top-notch job. They were all very dedicated to ensuring the install was just right and to meeting my high expectations for quality service. Three months into the install, the furnace is working well and a test of the heat pump suggests it will deliver when summer arrives. I'm happy to highly recommend Advantage to anyone interested in replacing their HVAC system and are seeking outstanding service.

My experience with advantage Heating and Cooling was a great one. The warehouse didn't send the furnace I ordered so the company upgraded me at no extra cost. They welcomed and explained any questions I had. Their price was more reasonable than the other bids I got.
Paul, Isaiah, Joseph, and Brandon were the crew that came to install my new furnace and AC unit. They worked together like a well oiled machine! They were well prepared, had everything they needed for the job cleaned up the mess and had it finished sooner than I expected.

Our technician was Cory and he did an excellent job repairing our system and explaining how things worked to extend system life. My wife and I are incredibly satisfied with the new HVAC system Comfort By Design installed for us in April 2024. The excellent service started with making the initial phone call to the office to set up a time for an estimate. The lady I spoke with was very professional and friendly, she able to me an appointment the same day with Scott. Scott arrived ahead of time, very friendly and professional. He allowed me to ask questions, did a house walk through to access our needs. He gave me many options on furnaces and A/C heat pump choices. After making our choices on equipment, he informed me he had a delay on a previous scheduled job and was able to install our new units the next day. The next day John, Johnny and Stephen installed our new units. Their installation was amazing. Upon completion they explained operation of units, maintenance and filter requirements. Our inside and outside of our home was free of debris.

I cannot explain how amazing this company is. The OWNER came out to my house at 3 am for an emergency call to help rescue a family pet. My cat got stuck in the ventilation system and he not only helped come up with a plan to get her out but executed it with precision in a timely manner. He called in backup and a second employee was there in a jiffee with the tools to complete this job. We were able to locate her and safely get her out and back to freedom and treats! I again cannot thank the staff and Owners of this amazing business enough for what they did for me and my family today!

We bought a new HVAC system two years ago from Comfort by Design. We like them so well that we signed up for their twice yearly maintenance
& inspection program. John Eaton, Service Tech, was just here and thoroughly explained his inspection process and gave us great operating tips. We are going to have them quote a humidifier for our furnace. Great outfit! Very responsive and trustworthy.

Called this company in a pinch with high heat in the city and no AC, the owner himself came out to meet with me and had me scheduled very quickly with a more than competitive quote.
The installers were very kind and knowledgeable and got the entire system including a water heater installed within 5 hours of starting.
Following the install I had questions on the system and they have scheduled me a visit from the quality control manager to walk with me and take a look.

I was very pleased with our service. We had a heat pump and furnace installed. They were informative and professional. They had it completely installed in two days. They were great and I would highly recommend them.

We asked for a pre home purchase inspection due to some unusual issues found during a standard inspection. They came out and did a thorough diagnostic of the units and provided quick honest answers on the issues and the rough costs associated with correcting them. Sure to that thoroughness we avoided what could have been a very expensive mistake.
