Berg's installed a humidifier for my family with the dry Colorado air and at an extremely reasonable price compared to other HVAC outfits we recieved quotes from. The first night we already felt a difference with the air quality in the house and our dry noses. We told Berg's what our issue was with dry stuffy noses all the time and the technician was extremely knowledgeable about the different systems and options there were to best suite our household needs and the technician showed up on time and had the humidifier installed and running in about an hour. With so many hvac companies out there that are just trying to get your money without providing a quality service, Berg's is definitely going to be my families go-to in the future with the quality of service and craftsmanship we received from them.

Billy is an expert HVAC tech and is very professional and respectful. I had a furnace emergency and he worked out his schedule to come that same day. I have had Billy come out to my house for routine maintenance for several years and will continue to hire him for all my HVAC needs. Our furnace stopped producing heat, so I did some self-diagnosing until the issue was out of my league. I scheduled a visit online with Berg's website at about 7 am. Caleb showed up about 2 hours later. He ran through his diagnostic checks and it turned out the gas valve was non-operational. Got a click when heat was requested, but no gas flowed. I preferred not to replace this myself unless the cost was exorbitant. Luckily, I found the cost reasonable and Caleb replaced it, fixing our furnace. Great service, a decent price and super nice and chill guy. Five Stars.

Their coordination was seamless—a solid team that knew how to execute.
This was a first-time install of the VX20i with R-454B refrigerant, which added complexity. But Brent didn’t flinch. He worked through day-two differences with Trane tech support and got everything dialed in. The system is now fully communicating, tested, and running beautifully.

Had weird furnace issues leaving me without heat, but this company was able to come day of to fix everything! Our serviceman was Dante, and not only was he very professional and kind, but knowledgeable and earnest. He helped fix our problem, showed me how to change the air filter, and explained to me the things that he looked for when evaluating the life of the furnace. My wife and I recently purchased a newly built home from Covington Homes (now Empire Homes), and we were going through our 30-day warranty inspection. One of our primary concerns was the heating system, which made an unbearable noise whenever it activated, significantly disrupting our sleep. Covington Homes, a builder that is undoubtedly among the best in Colorado Springs, promptly sent Mitchell Heating back to inspect and rectify the initial installation.

Michael arrived at our home and immediately demonstrated professionalism and attentiveness. He asked insightful questions and listened carefully to our concerns. After gathering initial information, Michael began a thorough inspection of the heating system. What stood out most was his meticulous approach; after each phase of the inspection, he provided clear, concise explanations, greatly enhancing our understanding and trust in his work.

Michael quickly identified and resolved the primary issue, then took the time to walk me through the problem and offered valuable maintenance tips to prolong our system's life. Recognizing that the original error was due to an oversight from a previous technician—possibly from a lack of adequate quality control—I requested Michael inspect our entire HVAC system, as our 60- and 90-day inspections were approaching. Michael willingly performed this additional inspection and discovered significant deficiencies, particularly with the air conditioning unit's incomplete installation.

Michael’s willingness to address my additional concerns made me feel more like family than merely a customer. He genuinely seemed dedicated to providing the best possible service to represent himself and Mitchell Heating. I documented these issues with photos and immediately informed Covington Homes. While Michael was eager to resolve the AC problems that day, he did not have all the necessary equipment on hand. Covington Homes quickly acted upon receiving this information, and based on Michael’s exemplary service, I insisted that only he return to address our issues.

Michael returned earlier this week and spent nearly the entire day thoroughly rectifying the installation issues. Throughout the process, he kept my wife and me fully informed, demonstrating exceptional communication skills. After completing the repairs, Michael shared valuable insights about maximizing our system’s energy efficiency and maintenance recommendations to extend its lifespan.

In my experience, I have never encountered an HVAC technician as diligent and passionate about his work as Michael. His pride and commitment to excellence are evident in every task he undertakes. Thanks to Michael's systematic approach and dedication, our family avoided facing the hot summer months without proper air conditioning. Our system now works perfectly, and we couldn't be happier.

This is the horrible installation by Mitchell Heating. They sent a technician out & he confirmed the poor installation. They refused to correct the line blocking access to the front of my furnace. They also refused to give me any of the original installation records after requesting them several times. My furnace is only 6 years old, has had water pooling around it, a possible cracked drain pan, & a Cracked heat exchanger. Their only response was that my furnace is out of warranty & refused to fix their installation. I will be submitting a complaint to Lennox.

Logan was awesome. He arrived promptly after my notification that he was on his way, and was very respectful when he came in to service my furnace. He completed the work in a timely manner and was very clean and thorough while doing so. I would highly recommend him as a technician as well as Mitchell Heating for servicing your HVAC systems.
