Beware of dishonest business practices. We brought Swan out to deal with a sewer backup. They said they would need to charge us $400 extra to remove the basement toilet to complete the sewer scope. They ran the scope and insisted that our line had significant "bowing" (essentially sagging) which meant the line needed to be replaced or cleaned out twice annually by them at $1500 a pop. The replacement would run $15K at the least because they would have to dig up the line. Mind you, we have a built out brick patio and new garage built over the sewer line. So the added expense of repairing all the damage done from the work - likely $50K.

We sought out a second opinion after looking at our initial inspection from buying the house two years back. The inspection noted no concerns. Additionally, we found a city permit that showed the bulk of the "cast iron" line was replaced in 2022 to PVC. How could there be significant and concerning bowing in 3-4 years, and how could Swan not know it was PVC piping. So the second opinion - we brought out a reputable company who conducted the scope from the alley! They didn't need to charge us $400 to complete the scope by removing the basement toilet. They said the line had little to no bowing, nor did it have any backup of any sort. They urged us not to replace the line or even worry about doing a clear out or cleaning at this time. They found no settling of debris or clogging whatsoever. They also didn't charge us for anything including the visit or the scope as they said it was minimal work since they could access the line from the alley.

One other note of irritation and question about Swan's professionalism beyond their questionable business practices was after the initial visit with the first "professional", he said he was going to "stress the system" to figure out what might be the issue. Ever since then, we've been hearing consistent banging from our water lines throughout the house (water hammering). Now a new problem for us to resolve. And when we called after our second opinion to ask why we were charged $400 for the manual labor of removing a toilet to complete a scope that otherwise could have been done from the alley, they provided no justification, apology, or willingness to refund us that money.

AVOID this company. They either don't know what they're talking about or they're attempting to scam homeowners.

Brant did a good job servicing my furnace. He explained everything to me and talked to me about a new air purifier system which I did not purchase. He also told me about one thing that should be done in the near future which I am considering. Delightful person and an asset to this company. The service is part of my service program from Swan.

Ruben and nima and Kathy also Rodney where amazing very helpful and professional got the job done fast and easy and explained how everything works and what they would be doing. Amazing team and very great work Alan was great also on helping with the estimate. Very helpful and professional also. Broke everything down price wise and what would be done I highly recommend them. Got my house all toasty warm just in time for winter. Got everything done less than two hours. In and out.

Great experience! From the initial service call, Rafael Batrez and Supervisor Bradon (?), who were very knowledgable and courteous; to Nima Hussar and Ruben Mercado's installation of our new HVAC unit - they worked hard to make sure it was done correctly and were very respectful; to today's vent cleaning with Alex Croan - All did a great job and I'm very happy with the overall experience with Swan.

Another great experience with swans heating and cooling. Bryce came for our annual house plumbing checkup. He's very knowledgeable, a great communicator, and very thorough, as well as, efficient, inspecting the plumbing quickly and completely. Lots of great ideas for how to maintain what we have and what to look for in the future to keep our house running smoothly and comfortably. Once again very happy with all of the services at Swan's. Quality products and people of integrity, I'm confident to have in my home. Very satisfied, glad that we became club members years ago. It really pays off, financially and with peace of mind.. thank you Swans and Bryce.

Drew went above and beyond to get me a new furnace. This was a blessing for me to get. Austin and Fernando were the installer team that did a great job with handling all the things required. We called in with our furnace not working. They sent out a tech Mark H today 12/10/25. He took the time to try and figure out the problem, went through and updated everything and re-linked our phone apps to try and have everything working again. He was extremely nice, helpful and professional. Our puppy can be a pain since he is still learning and Mark was very understanding to make sure we were comfortable and the dogs didn’t get into anything they shouldn’t. Would highly recommend!

Brant was absolutely fantastic. He arrived right on time, was kind and respectful, and communicated clearly throughout the entire furnace maintenance visit. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, which made me feel informed and confident in the care of my system. His work was both efficient and thorough, and his professionalism truly stood out. I was so impressed with the quality of service that I signed up for Swan’s membership on the spot. Swan, plumbing and heating, is the absolute best! We have had nothing but positive experiences with them for the past three or four years! Bought our new furnace and air conditioner through them. Join their club plan, which is and so helpful to us and we just love everything that come out and do and help us with. And all of their employees are top-notch knowledgeable, and nicest can be.

Jonathan did an excellent job of assessing the condition of a noisy blower and motor assembly. He teamed with his boss and came up with a an HVAC system to match our home, including a heat pump. They stayed late to provide a competitive bid.

I wish I knew how to write a review like this before now because I would like to sing the praises of three of your team. Last month Justin and Jason, if I recall correctly, installed a new HVAC system in our crawlspace. They showed such professionalism and patience crawling in and out of our crawlspace many, many times. They were a pleasure to work with and even sat down and had a bowl of chicken soup with us! You are very fortunate to have them on your team.

Then, today, Justin returned to swap out the thermostat for us because we are definitely tech challenged and found the Lennox thermostat very confusing. He patiently showed me how to schedule the new thermostat and left me feeling much less stressed.

Finally, we met Miguel today who did our plumbing and safety inspection. That young man is a gem. He's knowledgeable and very personal, as well as very patient with us seniors. I am so pleased that we are now Swan customers!!

I had Swan come out and take care of servicing my A/C and check for a leak. Both Jason and Marcus were available on the same day, which was so convenient. Both gentlemen were so friendly, professional, and thorough. They both explained everything and made sure to answer all of my questions. I will be using Swan in the future and would recommend them to anyone who needs any of the services that they offer.

Just had another appointment and Nathan came out for us. Everyone in this company is so friendly and so helpful. Everything we have them do for us is top notch. You can't go wrong, hiring Swan.

I've been a client of Swan for a few years now and have always been impressed. I've had HVAC work done previously and recent plumbing work done as well (Marcus was amazing!). The technicians are always honest and work with you to find a solution. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed how well everything was explained. Gave me several options from fixing the old furnace to getting a new one. The speedy service of the guys coming out and how fast I will be getting a new furnace. Just knowing I have a company that does heating and plumbing all in one place.

Today we had a complete duct cleaning and a plumbing inspection performed by SWAN, who recently installed our cold climate heat pump and new furnace, and once again they exceeded expectations. Alex and Spencer both did a great job and were professional, courteous and took the time to thoroughly explain what they were doing throughout the process. Their attention to detail and diligence gave us confidence that the work was done right and we highly recommend SWAN as a trustworthy and reliable company.

We have been getting reliable HVAC and plumbing service from Swann for years. The folks who come to our home are timely, courteous, and give advice that’s worth following, and recommend other techs when they can’t do a particular job.
They’re also happy to work there. That’s worth a lot these days.

Johnathan Bielski is the man. He ran through every step, checked every wire, metered, checked programming. He wanted to make sure he got the whole picture top to bottom to figure it out. Swan, you’re lucky to have a great tech like him who takes a lot of pride in what he does.
Also side note. You should have a QR code for your techs so we can digitally tip them. They work hard and deserve some extra cash.

I signed up for Swan Club Monthly Membership, which is only $21.95 per month. At the same time, I scheduled their Annual Furnace Tune -up and inspection because I was concerned about its age and condition. As a Swan member, the full check-up was free. Service technician Javier Batrez was great and reassured our family that even though the furnace was 20 years old, it is still working fine.

I recently became a member at Swan and they are a breath of fresh air. I’ve had positive experiences with both their HVAC and plumbing department. Everyone is super professional and they do their best to be accommodating and available. I also find that they’re one of the few left who are high-quality, but don’t try to charge you an arm and a leg for everything…

I have always felt Swan Plumbing hires technicians that are here to work with us and not always trying to upsell and Jonathan represents that.
