David was amazing. His follow-up call and walk through was very helpful in fixing a blown fuse and ensuring my newly installed thermostat was efficiently working. Highly recommended as they have an emergency service to ensure your heating and cooling is up and running on the coldest or hottest of days.

David did a wonderful job inspecting, cleaning, and replace parts in our furnace! He is very knowledgeable and was upfront and honest about what needed to be serviced/changed and why. Also gave some great tips about maintaining it for the future. Thank you David!

David with Smith and Wesson was fantastic! Timely, attentive and helpful unclogging a condensate line and giving our HVAC system a thorough service. Well worth the price for a high quality service.

I had an issue with my thermostat restarting, my heat and ac were not working properly and I wasn’t sure what was happening so I got Smith and Willis to send someone out to help. They sent David and he was awesome!! He went above and beyond to help show me what was happening and then he fixed the issue with ease! He was a great person and super helpful! I will continue to use this company just because of David! Thank you!

This company sucks, brand new built home through D.R Horton with a brand new furnace with warranty ,
Furnace stop working 3 weeks ago and temperature are in the low 20s outside and 60 degree inside, they sent a technician (and wait for this they say he will be there between 10am-5:00pm) the technician comes in said he fixed the issue and that’s that. A week later the same thing happens (waking up to an inside temperature to of 60 degree it’s bad. Wearing gloves and hats to stay warm inside. Week 3 Wait for it. This is our coldest week of the year( temperatures are below 0, and yes furnace is not working. Called the office right at 8:00 am opening, their answering service picks up even though they should be already open. Rachael and Erica total clueless and incompetent at their job, no customers service skills, pointed to them that a technician needs to come ASAP and tat I will not be home the rest of the day and house temperature is 60 degrees and it’s freezing, they were rude and basically don’t care.
I will be contacting DR Horton and other builder they have contract with and file a complaint with them along with BBB and other builders that.you should treat customers like this especially when DR Horton is doing business with you. What a shame :( -
Monte with Smith & Willis was very knowledgeable and professional tuning up our AC today! We've used Smith & Willis many times over the years for our heating and AC needs. We've found Smith & Willis able to fix any issues professionally and at a reasonable price. I can tell you who I do not recommend. I made a mistake and had a competitor here last week that offered a "special" to "tune" our AC and it seemed once they were here all they wanted to do was quote lots of expensive fixes. The competitor's tune up missed a lot of tune up basics (did not clean filters). The competitor also incorrectly installed our NEST. Monte with Smith & Willis fixed the NEST and even showed me how to use it! Thank you Monte/Smith & Willis for a job well done!

Of course the furnace decided not to work over a weekend when it was cold outside. Smith & Willis responded with technician Tyler who was professional, courteous, efficient, and friendly. He knew exactly what to do and did it! I recommend Smith & Willis for all HVAC needs.

Smith & Willis was our emergency HVAC provider given by the builder. I called the emergency line at 10pm last night to report that not only was the AC system not working but the entire HVAC system was uncontrollably blowing hot air out of the vents, that the vents were so hot they burned to the touch and that the house temp had increased by 10 degrees in 15 minutes. I was told i would get a call back shortly from the emergency tech. Under the fair assumption that the tech would be calling shortly to let me know when they would arrive, I stayed awake and waited. I called two more times between 10pm and 6am and was told the same thing, that they could take my name and number and have someone call shortly. I finally received a call back from someone who worked for the company at 7:30AM this morning and was told that AC was not deemed an emergency so that's why i haven't heard from anyone. While AC might not be an emergency, the hot air blowing, inability to control the furnace and the vents being a potential fire hazard seem urgent to me. However even if none of those are, ATLEAST letting me know they didn't consider this an emergency and weren't coming to help would have been basic decency. It would have allowed me to call another company who would provide actual emergency service and repair. With all the windows open all night long, the house was almost 100 degrees this morning from the hot air blowing in that couldn't be turned off. I'm disappointed in the service or lack there of, to say the least.

So our kids filled our outdoor venting system with rocks, which left us without working heating system just in time for the recent cold spell. Called one company that sent out a service rep who spent hours at our home, could not fix anything but gave us a quote in multiple thousands for repair, then never heard from them again after they’d told us they’d get back to us with a plan. So moving on, our next try was Smith and Willis—wish we’d gone to them first! Will definitely be our go-to for heating/cooling issues in future—Monte arrived within a day of contact, on time, identified the problem immediately, gave us detailed breakdown of repair options with exact quotes. (SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other company without my having revealed previous quote amount. We’re talking other company’s thousands vs. Smith and Willis’s hundreds. Monte’s professionalism, knowledge, and precision on quote built instant trust.) Entire assessment and repairs were completed within an hour, left work area clean (after going through drywall!), unobtrusive while in our home working yet polite, friendly and very helpful about any follow-up needs or questions. Great experience, highly recommend!

David did a thorough and highly professional service on our AC system. He corrected some original installation minor issues, and checked out the entire 2 unit AC system and thermostat operation. He also took the time to clearly explain best operating details. Would highly recommend Smith and Willis for all AC and Heating needs.

Monte, the technician from Smith and Willis was outstanding. Was thorough, pleasant and knowledgeable. Took time to explain the nature of my furnace problem and what he was doing for my maintenance and tune up. Smith and Willis also previously installed a new air conditioning unit and humidifier. Did a great job.........highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Smith and Willis. Super responsive and followed up to make sure all was well.
David spoke with me on the phone late Friday night. He listened to me telling him the problem. He gave me an idea in hopes that it would resolve itself. I thought this was nice because it would have avoided all charges including the "urgent call" charge. The problem, however, was more than my expertise. He came to the house Sunday morning and had to cut some PVC, clean it out, then put it back together. He explained in laymen terms what had happened and why it happened and what I can do periodically to avoid the problem. I appreciated how he was able to diagnose the problem quickly, explain it to me, fix it, and give me a way to maintain it myself in a doable fashion. If other problems arise with my AC or furnace, I'll be calling Smith and Willis. Thank you. -
Called to have my furnace serviced with Smith & Willis. Scheduling was quick and easy, and availability was a few days out. Day of appt. they sent out Monte, he called 15 minutes before arrival and let me know he was on the way. Upon arrival, Monte was very professional and put on shoe covers and wore his mask without asking. I have two big dogs and that seemed to not bother him, so that was also great. He took care of business and was on his way. Everything went smoothly and checks out. I’d recommend Smith & Willis to anyone wanting outstanding customer service and professional technicians. Thanks. 👍🏻

I didn't expect exceptional service... but it happened! My thermostat just up and quit on me and it's less than 3 years old. I called for a service appointment and they answered the phone immediately, letting me know someone would be by the next day. She also let me know what the cost would be for coming by to diagnose the problem without a warranty, so I knew what to expect.
Dave called the next day and let me know what time he would be here and was on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than an hour.
Great service all around and well worth the price. -
Monte was excellent. Not only fixed my AC issue, he showed me what kind of maintenance to do to prevent it from happening in the future.
Update December 2024: Monte came out again, this time for a furnace issue. He not only fixed it, but gave me more tips about preventing it from re-occurring.
Highly recommended. -
Our family recently moved here from South Carolina...two totally different, unfamiliar climates. Our A/C recently went out in our new home (considering our furniture truck had not arrived yet, we needed some relief!) so we called Smith & Willis in hopes of getting some guidance. Our service technician was Monte McClure - he exemplified the absolute best a company could want. Undoubtedly, a company is only as good as its people. In this case, Smith & Willis will win my business again!
HVAC systems clearly run differently and require different maintenance in this arid/cooler climate compared to South Carolina so Monte was generous with his time in educating me with a tutorial of the different aspects of the furnace, A/C, humidifier, etc. He is engaging, affable, knowledgeable and communicates clearly...tremendous qualities to have representing a company. My wife and three young kids are quite happy!
Monte- job well done and thanks again! -
Our technician David H, responded quickly and was very professional. He exhibited a thorough knowledge of the system and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and subsequently complete the repair. He wasn’t called until the afternoon but he happily stayed late into the early evening get our system working. After staying late, he still took the time to educate us on the proper operation of the system.
Very impressed. Quality service and exceptional professionalism. I highly recommend Smith and Willis especially because of our technician. Next time we need service I will call Smith & Willis and will specifically ask for David H. -
Monte was wonderful! I was having issues with my furnace. He came out, knew what the problem was before making any adjustments. He listened to the issue and what I tried as troubleshooting. He made solid recommendations for proper air flow, plus he resolved a seriously dangerous issue that I was unaware even existed. If everyone went above and beyond like Monte, the world would be a better place. Fully recommend, with confidence. No drama lamas here.

We had a issue with the blower motor leaking oil from the sealed bearings. S&W was able to replace the motor under warranty as is was only 2-1/2 years old. Worked with Karrie to schedule and Frank the Service Manager on the warranty. Then Jim Currier, service technician came and did the work. Everyone at Smith and Willis we’re friendly, courteous, helpful and professional! Jim Currier was very nice and explained exactly what was needed and did the work very professionally. He’s a great technician! I highly recommend this company!!!

Can't recommend S&W enough, they installed a new furnace and added an AC for us in one day after the consultation! it is working great just in time for summer! they were super clean and the install looks very good. Pricing was very competitive with the other estimates we got and they were able to fit us in weeks earlier than other companies. overall great experience!

They don’t want your business. Called them as they were the sticker on our AC. That was a mistake. We were told they will not work on ACs until End of April!!! When I asked if we could just get someone to come in the next couple days to take a look, I was brushed off by the lady and was told they didn’t want to damage AC components. It’s is supposed to be 70 degrees today, and our house gets WARM, but apparently 70 is too cold. Just call someone else who actually wants your money.
