Needed to have the hot and the cold valves replaced in my shower upstairs as well as downstairs. Previous company only replaced the gaskets about 3 years ago and they started to fail which caused the valves to drip when they were shut off. Lose her came out and replace them and recaulked around me hot and cold. Luther spent the time to explain my options and I decided to go with replacing the valves versus replacing the entire unit. Price comparison is well within other companies estimates. Bill Smith has also replace my hot water heater and put in surge protectors as I had too much water pressure coming into the house from the main. Overall I'm very pleased with the work that Bill Smith does.

I have used Bill Smith Plumbing for 100% of my plumbing issues for over 35 years. I trust their plumbers to recommend appropriate repairs/installation/service for all plumbing. They are experts, customer service oriented and do the job right the first time. From the office staff to on site staff, I am totally satisfied.

They were called to my house in September to service my furnace before the winter hit. They came, they left. "Everything was good" about a month later when we started using the furnace I noticed an immediate problem. It kept shutting off before reaching set temperature and the pilot light kept going out. Bill smith came out again, "Fixed it" and left. 3 days later continued to have the same problem. Bill Smith comes again....for a 3rd time. This time they send a technician who speaks NO ENGLISH. He was very nice but still did not fix the problem! The office lady called to tell me a piece had been replaced because the technician could not communicate that to me. Another 3 or 4 weeks pass. By now it's the end of November, very cold and I have a 3 month old baby. the pilot light on my furnace will not stay lit. I'm lighting it every single time "it would reach temperature and shut off" it was reaching 58 degrees in my house in the middle of the night. Come to find out the piece that was supposedly replaced the last time was never actually replaced and needed to be replaced. They didnt have the piece and it needed to be ordered so for 3 weeks they give me space heaters to use because that's acceptable apparently. When all was said and done they ended up replacing the entire furnace which now blows cold air and still doesn't work properly. YOU CANT WIN WITH BILL SMITH! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!!! 4 service calls, 1 new furnace and still a big problem

This is lisa. Luther came out today to fix a A copper pipe that burst when we forgot to remove our hose this winter. He also looked at the bathroom sink upstairs and gave us a couple great money saving tips. He showed up on time and was professional and worked quickly and did a great job! Bill Smith is our go to for both plumbing and heating needs. We have used them several times over the past couple of years. The first time we used them was after we had a horrible experience with another plumbing company who came out to snake our main line and caused major damage to our basement. We looked at reviews for Bill Smith and talked to a couple of other neighbors when we needed this completed the time following. We loved them. They talked with me through the entire process and explained why that had happened with the other company and what they do to avoid problems as that putting me at ease. We decided that we liked our first experience so much to have them come out and service our ancient furnace which they did and again we had nothing but praise. We have never had a problem with customer service or having a bad technician come out and perform work. Yes, sometimes we have had to leave a message but we always get a call back. This past winter we had a piece break on our furnace and like I said before, our furnace is very, very old. It was the beginning of winter and when we called Bill Smith they were booked out a couple of weeks. They offered after hour service but we chose not to go that route and instead went with a different company. What a waste of time that was. The person came out and barely looked at our furnace, saw how old it was and told me that we were in danger of carbon monoxide, etc and needed to purchase a new one immediately then sent out their person to give us quotes. It didn't set well so I called Bill Smith back and set up an appointment with them. They came out and fixed the part for a fraction of the cost of a new furnace, tested for carbon monoxide (none found from the furnace) and provided us with ways to make our furnace last longer. We always ask for a quote ahead of time to know approximately our costs and they have never exceeded that quote and many times been under it. We highly recommend them.

Recently Charles G. with Bill Smith Plumbing fixed my bath faucet. He was courteous, professional, tidy, time efficient and he even gave me a coupon discount before I asked for it! Bill Smith has been my go to for any plumbing and or heating repair needs for 15+ yrs! I highly recommend them!

Couple weeks ago our water pipe busted and flooded our basement. We called bill smith plumbing towards the end of the day and they sent a technician out right away. The technician, Dylan, arrived within 30 min. He was professional and very skilled. He found the busted pipe right away and only had to cut less than 2 square foot into our dry wall. He fixed the broken pipe within the estimated time and gave us recommendations for what to do/not to do to help prevent similar issues in the future. We’re not experienced with pricing but it seemed very reasonable for the amount of work done and urgency of request. We’re so thankful to have found bill smith plumbing and will be using them for any future work needed.

We have used Bill Smith Plumbing for years - never disappointed!
Currently remodeling two bathrooms; replacing all toilets, shut-off valves and faucets. The office staff did a great job scheduling the work over two different days to accommodate other contractor tasks. D.J. and his helper arrived right on time today, worked carefully and quickly, asked several questions to make sure they covered everything properly, and made a couple of helpful suggestions.
Always a great experience.

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before I engaged them. The plumber showed up, looked at the problem and said a part was missing, something I had already told him. He looked at a water filtration system for 10 minutes and said he didn't know how to fix it, BS'd for 20 minutes about Denver Water and then sat in his car for 10 minutes writing an invoice. He then came to my garage and presented a bill for $250. As one review said "use at your own risk." I would simply say- do not do business with this company.

Who doesn't hold their breath when they have to call a plumber? My Mother and I have both used Bill Smith Plumbing for over 13 years. My Mother had complicated and ongoing plumbing issues at her condo. Bill Smith Plumbing came highly recommended by her condo association. They always provided prompt, competent, efficient and reasonable service. They delivered on their promises and estimates. Luckily I have only needed them for minor repairs like faucet installations. Much like Angie's List I keep a running list of favorite trades people. I have recommended Bill Smith to many inquiring friends and neighbors! I rate them five stars for sure!

The technicians are knowledgeable and explain everything soI can understand what needs to happen. They are so careful and thorough! Cleanup is perfect. I have the highest praise for the work done by Roy, with Hez assisting, to solve the puzzle of a sewer smell coming from my laundry room after adding plumbing for an adjacent new basement bathroom. (The original contractors were not responsive to my calls!) It was a difficult puzzle to solve, with all the new lines, pipes, and vents. Roy and Hez were so professional and efficient, and discussed with me every step of the way. They also acted with much kindness and integrity. The office was also prompt in answering my messages and getting an appointment scheduled. I highly recommend Bill Smith Plumbing.

I called Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating to repair a rusted furnace exhaust pipe on my elderly mom's furnace. It was easy to get an appointment and Lou, the technician was friendly, knowledgeable, meticulous, and an expert at his craft...an excellent repair. And, they charged a fair price. I'm so impressed that I'm having them replace my 17-year old water heater. I highly recommend Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating!

I had a leaking water heater that was giving up, so it was time to replace it. My AC condensation was leaking into my furnace as well. I called my plumber of 20+ years, but he was getting too old (as am I) to haul the water heater out of the basement so he recommended Bill Smith plumbing. I gave them a call, got a quote, and scheduled the replacement and repair. I couldn't be more pleased with the way they were careful with my home. They covered their shoes and put down a protective cover on the floor and carpet in the basement, then got to work. In a short period of time, the water heater was replaced and the AC drainage repaired and has been working great. Everybody involved is very professional and competent. I will continue to use them in the future.

Best plumbing company I have had in 30 years!
Luther came out, explained about vents, joists, and drywall that he had to work with to replace 2 spigots.
Even though he encountered a problem, he did the work in the estimated time frame.
He is very knowledgeable about construction.
I wish I had known about Bill Smith and Luther many years ago. This is a company I have full confidence in!

Had our main water shut off leaking and needing to be replaced called Bill Smith had great communication with the office person and they were able to fit us into the schedule. The plumber showed up on time and was super friendly and made quick work of our repair/replacement. He came prepared with all tools and parts and got straight to work. Pricing is great with this company as well quality work for a quality price. We will use them again for our plumbing needs for sure.

Zero stars. Lobby not open on Monday morning. Sign on door says can’t find staff. Sorry, not a way to run a business no matter how long you have been in business.

My neighbor highly recommended Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating as they have always been great for him. From there I worked with Roy who was super transparent, communicative and such a pleasure to work with. 2 days later he sent DJ to come out and install a 50 gallon water heater for me and he was such a great man and professional. From here on out, I will only be using Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating.
