Littleton Heating & Air is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. I was charged additional money for an air conditioner install that is causing water damage & mold problems. Also, inspections were not requested or performed as required by the code & the permits have expired according to Littleton Colorado Community Development Code Enforcement Division.
The salesman had checked & confirmed that the air conditioner could be installed as all units for the condo complex. However, the owner who came to perform the install refused to install without a work-around going through a neighbor's unit & charging me an additional $800. A month after using the A/C, my neighbor complained that the refrigerant lines going through her closet were frosting up & then thawing when the A/C stopped & dripping water on the floor. When I called Littleton Heating & Air asking for someone to come out, I was told I would have to pay for someone to come check. After a 2nd season of Air Conditioning, my neighbor has a mold issue in her closet & bedroom with damage to the carpet & walls. My neighbor checked with the City of Littleton Building & Permit Office because Littleton Heating & Air wouldn't make any changes & was informed that a permit was applied for & opened but, no inspections were requested & the final permit was never requested. The agents for the City of Littleton wrote letters to Littleton Heating & Air but the owners has still refused to make any changes or pay for any damages.

There isn't enough space to say what needs to be said about Littleton Heating and AC. New furnace and AC last June and just had our one year inspection. All perfect. When the inspectors came after installation they were here just long enough to say how great the job was done. Very comforting to us. They will always have our business.

In early winter of 2020, we started searching for a company to install an air conditioning unit (new) and furnace (replacement) for our ranch home. We met with three firms.

Darek was the person who met with us from Littleton Heating and Air Conditioning, and we choose them based on our meeting with Darek. It was Darek’s sincerity and straightforward manner which in the end convinced us to go with his company. One thing that stands out for us from that meeting is a statement from Darek: “Even if you don’t go with us here are some things that you should keep in mind and look for in the vendor you choose…”. This gave us a strong feeling him and his firm were customer oriented.

We choose his firm and had a Daikin furnace and air conditioner installed. The furnace was installed and used since approximately January 2021, and the air conditioner was installed and used from about May 2021. Both have worked very well for us in their first year. No major issues to date, and one small issue (see next paragraph) was taken care of quickly and promptly.

From the original install of the furnace, we found the drainpipe was routed in an awkward place. At a follow-up visit by Darek we showed him and explained our concerns, and he agreed. He quickly had someone come out and reroute the drainpipe to our satisfaction.

Overall, we are happy with our Daikin furnace and air conditioner after one year of use, and happy we went with Darek and Littleton Heating and Air Conditioning.

My furnace went out on a cold day. I am on a strict budget and was worried about getting scammed. I wanted to stick with a local business so I called Littleton Heating an AC. They came out quickly and diagnosed that my furnace was done. It was the original to my home and had a feeling it was time for replacement. Littleton Heating gave me a fair price and we’re able to do it immediately. The techs were professional and friendly. Highly recommend and will use them in the years to come! Thank you!!!

Use Littleton Heating and Air Conditioning. Darek takes care of you. He makes sure everything is tested thoroughly, makes sure the equipment you purchase is installed properly such that it performs to its highest spec. I've lived with a heating/air system that the builder improperly sized and improperly installed for 18 years. Now I have the right size system and a fully tested installation. His estimate was the best of three - timely, informative, and on the mark as to the money and quality of system I was looking for. They put in full days, arriving early, working all day, staying late to get the installation done and done right. And - they work with your schedule.

Regarding a recent 1 star review - I don't believe this company would charge $59 for no reason. They build business by providing excellent service based on skill acquired through many years of experience - not by charging $59 for no reason.

Derek is the best! He fixed our old HVAC system and problem solved the issues without any delay. He was very thorough and the best price which I’ve never experienced with any other company. He’s been doing this for over 20 years and you can tell with how good he is with the results. Thanks again!

Steven and Rob made the installation experience very pleasant and went above expectations to ensure the installation went well. The installers were very good about answering any questions and ensured that everything was installed correctly. The wrong furnace model was ordered and Steven and Rob went and picked up the correct model. They were very apologetic about the mix-up. There was also an error with the original order in that a new line set was not part of the original estimate. The company was very good about making everything right with the project. I would highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

After talking to several A/C contractors, I decided to choose Littleton Heating & Air Conditioning. Their price was really good and they did a very professional job. They were also very careful not to get dirt on my carpet as they were working. I am very glad that I choose them to install the A/C system for me.

I've used Littleton HVAC for repair and upgrades for several units on multiple homes and they're my go-to. Their attention to detail when upgrading a system and rerouting ducts was far beyond what I have seen from other providers in the past. Their maintenance work is always timely and they're quick, clean and efficient. I highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs...especially system upgrades & rebuilds.

I would enthusiastically recommend this company. We contacted them regarding replacement of our furnace and air conditioner and a representative came to our home the following day. Derrick was knowledgeable and patient. He carefully explained our options and seemed very concerned that we understood the pros and cons of our various choices. There was absolutely no pressure. We had the sense that his major concern was that we were comfortable with the process and happy with our selection.
The installation was as easy as Darak, Derrick and Austin could make it. They were professional, knowledgeable and as minimally disruptive of our lives as possible.
We love our Daikon system, and we love that Derrick followed up to check our system and our satisfaction.

After having several companies come quote me for a new A/C and furnace, I settled on Littleton Heating and Air Conditioning based on their ability to explain to me what my house needed. It's hard to find companies that won't take advantage of someone with no knowledge of their industry and they answered every question with courtesy and took the time to explain it to me. When they were in my house and after they finished they were very courteous, clean and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

I have been delaying the replacement of my HVAC system for as long as possible. I asked Littleton for a quote and installation date. The installation was completed the next week. For the 24 years that I have owned this home, the heating in winter was inadequate with cold rooms that could be hardly used. In summer, the same rooms could not be used because the AC did not adequately cool.
Since the new system was installed, the temperature in the house(in every room) does not vary more that 1 to 2 degrees regardless of outside temperature. Additionally, in the first full month following installation, the utility bill was 2/3's that of the prior year and that is without regard to the increase in utility rates. Additionally with filter system that Littleton installed, the amount of dust in the house is remarkable less than prior to the new installation.

Great, reliable and honest local company. Offer great discount and stick to their word. I have had minor repairs and full AC replacement. Best prices and service in town. Every technician is highly skilled, polite, and know how to do work the right way. These guys have fixed minor repair and full AC replacement. Great company, my first and only call.

I have used Littleton heating and air in the past to service my heater at my moms house and at my house and Derek has always done a great job and is right to the point of what needs to be done. I recently had them put a new furnace in my rental property and they got it done and worked with the tenants from install to inspection.

SUPER impressed when they answered phone on a Sunday! Owner sent technician, Derek, out to look at my failing furnace and said he'd arrive within the hour. It was closer to 30 minutes. We discussed repair option on my 19 year old system. He took measurements and came back in a couple of hours with three options covering a range from repair to full replacement. ADDITIONALLY, he came armed with three oil space heaters which was HUGE because my furnace quit on a very cold weekend. I chose complete replacement, because my equipment was so close to the end of its lifespan, and because we detected very poor ducting into and out of my previous HVAC installation which had led to poor air flow especially top level. I was impressed by Derek's technical understanding of turbulent -vs- laminar airflow and what simple steps they could implement to make large improvements in my ducting. Job end up taking two and a half days for owner Derek, and technician Derek to complete. All three days they showed up shortly after 8 AM, and they worked tirelessly (short stop for lunch obviously) until dinner time. Clearly, both had same attitude for not taking shortcuts, and DOING THE JOB RIGHT. They installed 45 degree bends in the ducting (instead of the previous 90 bends), use nitrogen air to solder copper to prevent compressor damaging contaminants in the line, and read the technical specs on equipment to make sure it was installed correctly. BOTTOM LINE: appreciated answering the phone on Sunday, the loaner space heaters, their politeness, and work ethic. LASTLY, they helped me move our heavy bins back into my storage area! Exceptional service & great people! Thanks fellas!

I recently changed HVAC contractors and by luck discovered Littleton Heating & Air. The staff is professional and courteous and very knowledgeable. I have had work done on my rental property furnace and my own home’s A/C. Both times the problem was resolved quickly and at a fair price. I’m happy to have found a new HVAC contractor that is reliable and honest.
