Every now and again there is a company who stands out from the crowd and deserves as much praise as one can give. Stone Heating and Air has been so extremely helpful that I cannot thank them enough! When our tenants encountered problems with our heating and cooling unit, not only did the whole outdated unit need to be replaced but there were also challenges that needed to be overcome just to get the new unit on location. With a downtown property occupied by an upset tenant without heat on the coldest days of they year, we were in a rush to get this problem solved. We called multiple companies, including the ones with their fleets of vehicles riding around town. We were informed that the power and communications wires going to and from the building would not allow safe placement of a Heating and cooling unit unless it was crane lifted from the front of our building. It would involve shutting down traffic to the street. This was a big problem because it meant having to shut down US highway 287. After talking to each company, we got the same answer, "I will look into the cost and write up a quote". As we waited for quotes, we placed the last call that was needed because Stone Heating and Air was called. Immediately I was on the phone with John, the owner of the company. He was friendly, informative, and clearly experienced. But most importantly, he was resourceful and innovative. He understood the problems we were facing and came up with a safe and effective alternative solution that met safety guidelines. Within 72 hours of my initial call to Stone Heating and Air, my tenants were warm and happy once again. Now when I have any HVAC needs, John Stone is the only number I call.

John Stone is the best. He fit me into a full schedule when my furnace wouldn’t start. Then when a part didn’t come in on time, he came by on a Saturday to install it. Then when he discovered the unit wasn’t grounded, he put me in touch with an electrician and continued to check back until the unit was completely fixed. Excellent service, knowledgeable, fair priced.

John and his team are outstanding! They installed a new air conditioning unit and a water heater at our business. We discussed the equipment options and he was informative without being pushy. His assistant, Orel, is knowledgeable as well. Looking forward to working with this team again!

I had my heater go out and needed my air conditioning replaced. I have known John Stone since childhood and knew what a fantastic caring person he is. I decided to give Stone heating and air a call. Not only did they get back to me quickly they gave me a quote that was far less than the competitors, they worked hard at trying to help me to qualify for a loan to be able to afford the repairs needed and they provided top-notch service with excellent communication. Even though I’ve known John for years, I have a very good friend who is a real estate agent who highly recommended Stone heating and air without even knowing That I was planning on using them already. Clearly they’re doing a really good job of taking care of all their customers.The installers did it fabulous job they got my heat going and the owner John Stone even checked in with me that evening to make sure everything was working properly. John came out on a freezing cold Sunday to troubleshoot my furnace which had failed. He stayed until it was fixed and working reliably! Very grateful for his professional work and expertise. As the new homeowner, he walked me through the furnace system and answered all my questions - very helpful! I will definitely use his services in the future.

My furnace went out with an overnight low of 10 degrees. John Stone was able to work me into the schedule and get me taken care of, with a correctly sized furnace for my home, right away. He showed up with two of his employees, who got right to work tearing the old furnace out while John went to pick up the new one. Once he returned the whole appointment took less than three hours, they did a great job, were very professional and actually took the time to clean up when they were done. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs.
