Prompt, courteous and reasonable. That's all you want in a repair company. Highland is the best there is in my area.

Excellent service, use them at my business and at my home. Would recommend to anyone. Honest, reliable and very easy to work with!

The technician was completely knowledgeable and honest about what was going on with my system. He offered some suggestions to make my system be more efficient and I have done that.

Highland has been our long term HVAC company who we use for our residential and commercial properties. They are excellent!
-
Great group of people. Always on time and always honest. They will not try to sell you something you do not need. This is unlike all the other heating and air companies in the area.
-
Punctual, courteous, knowledgable, reliable.
The tech was familiar with the furnace and knew exactly what to do to get it running again. Above words best describe his attitude.
Thanks! -
Matt was extremely professional and personable. He explained everything that needed to be done and why. I would highly recommended Highland Heating & Air.

I highly recommend Highland Heating and Air. They have installed and maintained a mini split AC for me as well as a conventional unit. They were responsive and solved a problem with the leveling of the unit as soon as I called them about it. .

Professional all the way through. Showed up on time (both times) and fixed the problem with a complete explanation, which is nice. I will use them for both locations with no hesitation and recommend them to anyone looking for a job done right.

I just looked it up (Nov 2020), and I have been using HIghland Heating and Air since 2009. Over the years I've had furnaces serviced and replaced, and significantly the addition of a whole-house heat-exchanging ventilator. It has been a splendid experience. Here's an example: The techs know their stuff, but I have watched Matt nevertheless check against factory specs on such seeming arcania as current draw, post-regulator natural gas pressure delivered to the burner tubes, and other items that make this author/engineer pleased to watch. I think I am in for a comfortable worry-free warm winter! And next spring, I'll have 'em check the A/C.
I learned from Matt a while back that the roll-out flame sensor is on the opposite end of the burner array from the ignitor, to be sure that the whole array actually lit up. And that it operates by detecting the conductivity of an ionization path induced by the flame itself. Did you know that?
When I thump a service provider I give details -- refutable, should the provider choose to respond. I looked at other reviews by the writer of the single one-star review that anyone has given HH&A. He provided no details to substantiate his low review for HH&A. Out of his 9 reviews, only one was not one-star. He seems to have uniformly poor experience with purveyors of service providers. I wonder why that might be? -
I don't post very many reviews but this company is horribly unresponsive. 4 service calls and furnace still isn't working. Techs didn't follow request to contact me during service. I requested to speak to a manager twice regarding billing but has never been in the office and has not called as promised.

The inspection (fall) for our heating system was very thorough. The techs know their job. Highly recommend this firm. I have been using them for four years. Very pleased

I own the West End Salon in Boulder and you do my annual maintenance on our roof top unit. You show up twice a year, maintain, service and clean our unit without me having to call. Our service has been very good. Thank you, Rich Trevino

Quick response time when I was without heat. Highland Heating and Air was extremely honest with great workmanship and customer service. Their pricing was also extremely reasonable. I am a Realtor and have added my experience to our office referral book and will refer our clients to them!

Our experience with highland heating and air was great. Polite prompt and efficient technicians and great scheduling in the office. We had them replace furnaces and air-conditioners in three different properties and all were good. Thanks!”

Our mini-combo space and hot water heater went out over memorial day, so we called the first name that came up (not Highland) and the guy that came out didn't know what he was talking about and tried to tell us that we needed a new heater and would cost up to $10,000. We then had a friend whom suggested Highland Heating and Air, and called them right away. Scott came out and not only delivered wonderful service, but he was also very honest, knowledgeable, and did his job excellently. We highly recommend this place!!! I wish that there was a way to give bonus stars as this business and Scott deserve a 10. Spread the word!!!

Our AC unit wasn’t working, so we had called another company out first who quoted a lot of money to fix the issue. We decided to get a 2nd opinion and called Highland Heating & Air. Scott came out and was professional fixed the issue (for less money). They don’t try to up sell you on anything. We appreciated the quick response and honesty. We will be using and recommending Highland moving forward!

I have had multiple great experiences with Highlands. They installed 2 rooftop AC units for me and did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend calling them if you need any heating or cooling services.

I live in an older building that has older model air units (fan coil units) in each of the condos. My fan coil unit started leaking water out onto my hardwood floors so I needed to get someone out as soon as possible to stop the leak. I contacted multiple companies in the area (some did not respond, others said they did not service fan coil units or were booked up). I called Highland and within 5 minutes had a same day appointment scheduled for a tech to come out.
The tech Matt who came out was super friendly and knowledgeable (and followed COVID safety precautions). He knew immediately what the issue was, fixed it and took the time to explain the problem to me and give me some tips to help prevent it from happening in the future.
I would highly recommend Highland Heating and Air for their professionalism, responsiveness and their knowledgeable and friendly staff!! Five stars!! -
Our furnace was broken, but the utility closet was a weird, tight space that made it hard to replace it. These guys did excellent work, our heat is now working, and they were very nice to my curious cat! Would go with these guys again.

Charged $200 for a 15 minute conversation in Niwot with nothing fixed or done because of a "90 minute drive" from Longmont. Would not recommend.
