My furnace went out on a cold snowy Saturday morning. I phoned Steve (interrupting his breakfast), and he came by an hour later. The problem was rectified in less than twenty minutes. He gave me a full explanation of the problem prior to fixing it along with a full, very reasonable price quote. Also, several months ago, he installed a new central air conditioning unit for us and did a great job. He’s very thorough, personable, and professional. I recommend Steve and his company highly.

We have used Steve for a few years to service our furnaces and air conditioning units. We find him to be very honest and trustworthy. It is nice to be able to schedule a service call and let him come into our home when we aren't there. No windows of time waiting around for service! Steve's communication is great when deciding how to proceed, even when we aren't home!

We recently had a new furnace installed by a different contractor. I was very leary of the quality and professionalism of the installation so I contacted Steve at Mountain Air Mechanical to check everything to be sure we could run the furnace safely. Thank goodness we did! Steve checked the installation (our furnace is in a crawl space under our house), he took photos to show me some serious issues and removed a part that was damaged by the previous contractor. The part damaged could have caused a build up of carbon monoxide. Steve ordered the part, showed up promptly once it arrived and repaired the shoddy work of the previous contractor. Steve is knowledgeable and professional. His prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend Mountain Air Mechanical! I know we will continue to use them for all of our maintenance and repairs.

Steve took a service call on a Sunday and quickly responded to diagnose my problem. Came back to replace my ignitor and just like that we have our heat back. Not just for my wife and I but, for our birds. We say thank you very much. You're awesome brother. On top of all of that he's very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and great customer service.

I'm back!! We bought a new furnace from Steve last week. It is perfect! Fast and professional installation. He gave us a few quotes. We chose a good one with his guidance. Best HVAC service, sales and installation!

Steve was wonderful!! He was prompt, affordable, and professional. He came to fix our furnace, which had been installed improperly. He had to get creative to solve the problem, but he was able to do it. We will definitely use his services again in the future.

My husband and I appreciate Steve coming out at last minute to check our furnace that had been given us issues for over a week, during the negative temperatures. Steve found an unsafe amount of carbon monoxide leaking in our house. He quickly shut the gas off until he was able to get us a new furnace. He got us a new furnace and installed it within days! Steve was very reasonable and very professional with his work. I definitely recommend him for any issues with heating or A/C.

Steve showed up when a previous tech basically shrugged his shoulders about our broken heat pump. After a lengthy diagnosis including calls to Carrier's tech support, he identified the problem and ordered the part from the factory. He installed it a few days later when it arrived, and we have cool air again!

Steve's a real professional, and a very nice guy too! He's on my speed dial for any HVAC needs.

Had a great experience working with Steven on a steam humidifier install. Price was great, overall service and experience was top notch. Steven even talked me through some other changes we could make to improve the efficiency and overall function of our HVAC system.

Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors previously installed our new furnace and hot water heater. They did such a great job we called them back to install a new whole house air conditioning system. They did an excellent job on the modern AC installation as well as revamping our whole mechanical room including a water expansion tank to stop water hammers. Every water line, gas line, valve, and electrical control system was upgraded and rerouted to make everything easily accessible and organized! We are extremely satisfied with the project and highly recommend Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors for all your HVAC and mechanical installations and/or upgrades. 10 Stars!! Thanks so much!!

Very friendly and service oriented team. Sadie in the office was courteous, professional and responsive. She set my appointment up in the window I had available and made sure that Steve, the owner/ operator, contacted me with my quote right away.
I can’t say that my job went off without a hitch, but when certain unexpected circumstances came up, Steve was still able to get the job done the same day. It wasn’t inexpensive, however I feel confident that the installation was completely pro and that the team will stand behind their work. It was a truly tricky job in a historic house, that ended up being totally custom.
I also like to support local business people who are truly hometown people, keeping it real.

Used to be a reputable company. Dennis, original owner would turn in his grave about how his company has gone down the tiolet! Won't even call me back for services already paid for.

Do not use these folks for anything. We have a maintenance contract with them and I've been unable to get a call back from them to even schedule an appointment. I've called their answering service 4 times in the last month and a half, talked with a gal who was going to have them call me. Crickets...

Sold me one thing but installed something else. Paid for top of the line but they installed cheapest model available. When I contacted them Matt tried to sell me what I had already purchased. Crook.

AirWaves should apply for patents; they invented new and previously-unknown ways to mess up the installation of central air conditioning in my house. I could cite two dozen ways that the installation was botched. For example, it took them four tries to mount the air handler in the attic in a way that didn't bounce around and destroy nearby lighting cans. Another favorite example made me laugh out loud when I found it: a register with the inlet positioned right next to a stud, so there was no way it could get more than a tiny bit of air. See my photos - it's unbelievable.

AirWaves has never apologized for their horrible installation that has cost me countless hours trying to fix the many messes they made. They even tried to bill me for a service call to fix the botched installation of the air handler.

I deeply regret hiring these guys. My advice is run, don't walk, away.
