Update - July 2024 - I stand by my original 5 star review. I just had Alder complete a new furnace and A/C compressor install in a 78 year old house that had a 20 year old furnace and no central A/C. (See pictures below). The results were exactly what I hoped for and the install looks great inside and outside. Alan "designed" and installed my system after we walked through many options and he answered all my questions/concerns (I admit I ask a lot about things I don't know). Tyler and Tanner also assisted at times and McKenzie kept everything going smoothly in the office with logistics. I opted to go with the Navien HydroFurnace (97% Efficient) with Rheem 17 Seer A/C unit and I'm quite happy about how it came out.

Update - Dec 2023 - I just had Alder (Tanner) come out to my new house and remove the old multi-gallon gas tank and add a tankless water heater. This is my 2nd time using Alder (& Tanner) - I attached two pictures - one is for the original review (Feb 2023) below that I forgot to add (front of tank is facing you) and the other picture is for the most recent job (one where it is mounted on a concrete wall with the side facing you.) My opinion hasn't changed - Alder does a great job. Tanner works efficiently, and answers all my random questions. Install looks super clean and happy with where everything was routed. Props to McKenzie in the office for scheduling and getting everything done on the backend as well. Highly Recommend.

Feb 2023 - I was very pleased with Alder Plumbing and Tanner specifically. I was recommended to them by a family member who used Alder and was pleased with their work. I had them relocated a tankless water heater to a better location in my basement, and service/clean it as well as cleanup some older plumbing work (spigots, lines, caps, etc.) in the house. Tanner was very professional, willing to discuss ideas, and easily made adjustments to things at my request when I had second thoughts. Having had several houses in the area of varying ages and used many trades, its hard to find quality sometimes and I intend to have them back for additional work when I'm ready for it. Highly recommend.

Tyler and his company were absolutely AMAZING!! We called and they were here the same day. He was able to find and solve the problem right away. His dedication, ethics and compassion are something you don’t see anymore in today’s society, it was a blessing to have that type of care in a time of stress. We highly recommend Alder!!

Matt and his team did a fantastic job adding the driveway extension to connect our main driveway to the workshop on our property. These men were phenomenal in their workmanship. The cleanup was superb. Matt was in constant contact with me providing updates as needed throughout the process. I would HIGHLY recommend D&D without hesitation!!!

Alan did a great job with replacing my thermostat and furnace. Service was thorough and professional. I will be reaching out to Alder in the future for any hvac/plumbing needs!

Alan listened to our request for a new switch to be added to our furnace. He researched alternative approaches and we agreed to the best solution. He explained how to work with the replaced switch. The cost for the repair was reasonable and exactly what he quoted. I would recommend Alder for HVAC service and ask for Alan!

Excellent service, very fair pricing. I couldn't ask for better service and had every confidence that I was receiving the best service possible. Drew was so nice to work with. I only wish I had known about them sooner. I wouldn't have had to repair someone else's terrible job.

Alder Plumbing is great to work with. We have now used them twice to move/update old water lines in our bathroom showers. They got back to us quickly with an estimate. Their price was reasonable and workmanship was courteous, professional and on time. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

We've had 2 wonderful experiences now with JT Plumbing & heating. First time we broke a pipe in our bathroom and the owner came out at 10pm to fix it for us and didn't gouge us on the price, it was a very fair price for a late night weekend plumbing emergency, and they also came back the next day to help us fix the job we botched and they did a great job with that too.

Our second experience was today and they did an awesome job inspecting and tuning up our HVAC. We had a little mix-up in the early communications but Blake and the owner went out of their way to make it right and I cannot thank them enough for putting the customer first. Blake was kind, courteous, thorough and answered all my questions.

We will definitely hire them again.

Levi came to our house very quickly and was super knowledgeable and fixed out plumbing issue. He was nice our dogs and the price was great . I would call them again if something happened.

I had a gas leak caused by a new stove install. JT Plumbing had better reviews and more stars than most of the plumbers in my area so I decided to give them a shot. In order for them to come out to give you a quote, you have to agree to a charge of $90 for a consultation fee. They will apply that $90 to your bill if you hire them to do the job, otherwise your out the $90. They also have "programs" and tiered pricing for different levels of service. They gave me a quote to get approved by the company that broke my gas line which I sent for approval. They talked me into buying a "membership" for a couple hundred dollars that would have saved me money throughout the year for other things done. They did a good job on the repair. I needed to have both of my gas water heaters replaced so I asked for them to quote it. Boy did they quote it... You would think that I was buying ten water heaters for the price they quoted. I let them know that I didn't need the membership because it didn't make sense for me to use them for additional repairs. They said that they can't refund me.
In all fairness, they do good work. They are EXTREMELY overpriced. If I wasn't in such a bad situation with the gas leak I would have had more time to research which company to use. They are all about money, and are not willing to break away from their "packages" even if you don't need everything that the "package" includes. They will not negotiate and will bash Home Depot pricing without you even bringing Home Depot into the conversation. Funny thing... because they took the liberty to bring up Home Depot as a horrible option, I called Home Depot and received a quote from them for the two water heaters. They quoted within five minutes, delivered and installed both water heaters (same make and model as JT Plumbing) within a week, and charged me $3000 LESS than JT Plumbing quoted. Moral of the story - Do your research. If you are in an emergency situation like I was, this company is probably not the right choice. You can't trust them to be fair in pricing. On the other hand, they are thorough in their work. That's why I gave them two stars instead of one. I hope this helps. Finding a company for home repairs that you can trust can be very tough these days.

We were able to get bath fixtures replaced the day we called, so water could be turned back on! Trey was very courteous, professional, and left the work area clean and repaired. Would absolutely recommend.

We had JT Plumbing for about 2 years and after three strange incidents we decided to part ways. The final straw was we had a second opinion performed after they suggested we spend $20,000 to replace our system only to find out that this was not remotely accurate (in addition they refused to perform a CO test that they quoted us at $300 and were incredibly condescending when asked to perform). This was a rapid change from precious encounter because we did trust them. However, new information arose that made this difficult to do. Incredibly disappointing experience and not a personal attack. I would be astounded if JTPlumbing responded by making another empty “best wishes” and claiming I’m “bashing” them when all I’m doing is relying my experience.

Bryan G is fantastic! Not only does he really know his stuff when it comes to plumbing and HVAC, but he also takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense. You can tell he’s been doing this for years—his confidence and expertise are immediately reassuring. Super friendly and reliable— Highly recommended!

Overall the plumber did good work, but we paid $600 for them to light the pilot on our water heater and replace a 90 degree bend with a shark bite.

Great work, price was astounding. They tried for an hour to sell us a hot water heater. My guess is if you buy a water heater through them, it's worth your money. Otherwise, I will be using a more reasonable plumber I found.

One disclaimer, the work was done in July of 23, I'm just leaving the review now. Unlikely prices have decreased since then.

Trey did a very nice job. He was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable, communicative, and wanted to please his customer. He was economical (used “good” old parts) and thorough. He announced his arrival, cleaned up after himself, and got the “buy-in” of the customer, along the way and at the conclusion of his work. Nice young man!

JT Plumbing was great. These guys were awesome. Jess was so helpful over the phone. She truly made you feel like a priority when talking to her about my problem and also after the job was done. Also want to thank Trey the technician that came out, he was awesome and did good work, and so far, no more problems.

if there is possible i would give negative star instead 1. before your tech come, i still able to use diswasher to clean up dish instead sink. now after $1200 service with snake, hybro jak, camra. just only 3sec. running water we got all water flow everywhere from pipline. even the tech testing before they leave. they know it and trying to up sale $8000 service to repair only one groove. have you guy real come over trying to do the job? if there are Blockage lock up groove, there should have clean out end pipline for you to keep the drain water clean up. right. even you camra can not get in the blockahe groove cause the sink pipline too small or angles too narrow, but there should have clean out end pipline next it that for plumbing. why you guy are pro but active like a newborn. i am not plumber but i still know there should have clean out pipline for you guy to plumbing and put camra to find out problem. and this kind of clean out pipline have to build under the build code to build the house. dont you know? what a pro.

plus i call back ask for re-drain water, you team said there are a tech would call me when they are on the way to redo and it would be done for today. now, whole day ready gone. it is 16hr none respond. good job JT plumbing.

I had a plumbing issue that involved me needing to turn the water off to the whole house until it was resolved. Obviously not ideal with little kids.

They were able to squeeze me in the same afternoon. Trey gave me many options from “fix the problem today” to the deluxe “fixing these things will keep this from happening again” package. He was fast and friendly and thoughtful. We’ll definitely be considering his suggestions going forward.
