We've used DSW Landscaping twice now and have been happy both times. The owner, Dustin Weland, has a an experienced and hard working crew. We're looking forward to working with DWS Landscaping again in the near future.

I have used this company in the past and did not hesitate to call them for my new project. Excellent work!! Dustin's experience and vision always a plus. His employees are experienced and perfectionists in their work. Thank you DSW for another job well done!!

I wouldn't even recommend getting a quote from this guy. We had a tight timeline project that he came out the week before and quoted us for. His price and timeline seemed fantastic, so we accepted. Said he would start the work next Monday. He shows up, hangs around with two other people for like 10 minutes in my backyard, then leaves without saying a word and later texts that he can't do the project.

Save yourself some time and don't even bother getting an estimate from LPZ, they are extremely unprofessional.

I provided LPZ with a specific scope of work needed for my project and a tight timeline. LPZ provided an estimate and came to my house to confirm the scope of work required for the project. On the day they were supposed to start work on the Project they showed up and stood around the Project area for 10 minutes and then left without telling us. Half an hour later they texted stating they could no longer perform the work because the scope was bigger then they thought. LPZ left me hanging high and dry when they knew I needed the project done by a certain date. LPZ didn’t even have the common decency to respond to a text message or a phone call to explain to me how the scope of work exceeded their original assumptions. Horrible and unprofessional.

I can't speak highly enough of Ben and his crew, as they gave us the backyard of our dreams! We built our home last year, and had an HOA mandated deadline for completing phase 1 of our landscaping. We happened to be out of state at that time, and Ben graciously agreed to work with us via FaceTime meetings, texts, and emails. His designer drew up plans based on our unique interests and taste, and he allowed us to break our landscaping plans into reasonable and affordable pieces.
He was VERY patient when we revised the plans to include a new feature or meet a new need. I can, and will, refer Renovations Landscaping without hesitation!!

Can’t say I’d recommend. Used them a few years ago for some concrete work. They left a mess and how we also have uneven steps on our back patio.

Ben and his crew are professional and responsive. They did a great job fixing some items done incorrectly/poorly by another landscaper. Ben worked with his supplier to ensure a damaged product was replaced accordingly. The results are great. I appreciated his transparency and honesty. I recommend Renovations Landscaping.

Ben was great to work with! He completely understood my vision for the yard and was willing to work with us to find an agreeable price for the work. The crew completed the work extremely fast and their quality was great!

My husband and I highly recommend using Ben and his team. This is our second year using them for projects in our backyard. We got his name from our neighbor last year and used him again this year. From start to finish Ben works with us to make sure our vision is attainable. He has always been honest about costs and helps us find ways we can save money in the project but still attain what our vision is. His foreman Antonio was excellent, his team got right to work and finished in a timely manner. An excellent company to hire!!

Our family used Renovations Landscaping to rip out our existing landscape, which was long overdue for an overhaul. They regraded our entire backyard, installed a beautiful retaining wall, planted various shrubs, grasses, trees and perennials, as well as a large sodded area for the kids and dogs to enjoy. The design they provided was insightful, and it was exciting to see what I once only envisioned become a reality. We will absolutely be referring Renovations to anyone that is in need of landscaping!

Very happy with my front yard xeriscape job Ben and his team at Renovations did. We had received multiple quotes from other top notch contractors in the area, but felt most comfortable with Ben and his team. We now have a beautiful front yard that not only we love but the neighbors as well. Thanks Ben!

Be wary of Renovations Landscaping – once they have their money, you no longer matter. I had the same exact experience as M N. They were very responsive before the work began. I received emails, texts and phone calls with a very quick response time. I extended my concrete patio and added sod to my backyard. Work was completed beginning of July and I was pleased with what was done but a few things needed to be repaired; nothing that is a budget buster for them. I was told they would come back out to repair/fix the work, but I have not heard from anyone since September (four months with no return phone call or email in an attempt to reach me). I have tried to reach them numerous times via email and phone calls to no avail. At this rate, my warranty will be up before I hear back from anyone.

We hired Ben to sod and redo our backyard that had been ruined by the previous owners. The work was completed quickly and efficiently at the end of the summer 2021. At first we were very satisfied, however, we began to experience issues with the sprinkler system they installed and it was not covering the whole lawn. The lawn began to die and I reached out in every possible way, email, phone and even went in person to their office AFTER it moved to a completely different location in parker. (Previously located in Castle Rock) I have had to spend hundreds on reseeding my lawn and replacing sod with drought resistant ground cover. All of which should have been covered by my year warranty. I have repeatedly reached out since then and now, almost a year later the situation has not changed. I have basically been ignored, until I threatened with a bad review. The excuse that was given: "this is the first time I have seen this email". Upon finally establishing contact, they assured me that we could get a reimbursement for the time and money I have put into the lawn since the initial work, but once again have gone dark. I feel like I have been very patient and understanding, but this is completely unacceptable, even for a small business. I hope this can be a word of caution for future customers.

Ben and his teams are simply amazing! The quality of work is beyond my expectations. Super responsive and quick to resolve any issues that may arise. 100% recommend for any and all landscaping needs! They have done 3 projects for me and if I had more space they would be the first and only call. Thanks Ben!!

Do not use this company. Ben, the owner seems very nice and professional but once he has your money he will not return any of your attempts of communication, which is why he has a C- rating with the BBB and is no longer a member (due to unresolved disputes) yet continues to display their logo on his website.

Here is what went wrong with my project:

1. His crew left numerous chunks of cement and weeds in my alley that I had to dispose of
2. His crew was drinking on the job and left at least a dozen Beer cans in my alley
3. So far I have found at least 20, 4 inch nail/screws in the rocks that my dog or I could have stepped on
4. I have not seen any evidence that his crew used pins to hold down the very limited amount of weed cover that I was charged for as evidenced by the number of weeds I have seen in a week since the work has been completed
5. He does not stand by his word; his crew destroyed my bench and he said they would repair it and he has failed to contact me
6. The crew never checked with me before pouring the concrete and I was charged for more concrete work than I received
7. The flagstone patio work looks awful. The concrete doesn’t match the old work and it looks like the one his crew did is of much lesser quality.
The last two points are my fault for signing off on. I thought the concrete would dry to match but it just looks worse and is already cracking.

Renovations Landscaping Took our $11,000 deposit on a retaining wall project back on November 1, 2022 and has never come back and done any work. Renovations will not return our deposit. We gave Ben (the owner) multiple chances to make things right, but still no work at all. Beware. Look at all the BBB complaints for Renovations.

Note Ben the owner of Renovations replies to his bad reviews making it sound like they have responded and are not at fault. All part of his scam. Ben has 2 business addresses listed in Google, I guess to make it sound like he has a big business. We have tried to go to both locations and Renovations is not there. Hmmm.

Renovations has not dug one shovel of dirt on our project in almost a year now and has strung us along with excuse after excuse. I want the deposit back Ben.

We did our whole backyard project last year with Ben and his company (or we thought we were- the whole project was subcontracted to another company, guess that is the norm so whatever). The communication in the beginning was pretty good but then there were issues during the project that needed fixed due to lack of communication between Ben and the subs and the project went way past deadline as well. In all the finished product wasn't as top notch as promised but it wasn't too bad!
The big reason why i am giving them a 1 star is their follow up and their owner Ben literally giving you the run around and then never replying back to texts anymore. After the project, 5 bushes and a tree they had provided died but since they were in warranty we were promised they would be replaced! What followed was months of back and forth with Ben (its been over 10 months now) and nothing has been replaced yet! I would highly advise against selecting this company for your landscaping needs. There are better people out there who are more responsible and professional and actually reply to their clients on time.

I searched for a landscape compaany to update my front and rear yard. I liked the design that Louis drew up. I decided to go with Renovation. ( Louis designs for other companies as well as Renovation. I was handed over to Donnie for the work. At first he and his crew were great. That all changed when the rear yard design had to be reworked. The initial design and the redesigned price were quite different.I couldn't get Donnie to break down the prices for either design. Other than the plant cost everything else was a completed price. No individual entries or explanation of what made up the cost. When I finally got an itimized cost, I disagreed with them. Everything I tried to get him to explain just didn't add up. The original design had a 12' sitting wall and the new design had a 16' sitting wall. The contractor and crew started the wall with cinder block. I asked what that was for and was told that's how it's done. I went to the paver store and picked out a free standing block wall that did not require what was being installed. The contractor said what was started would not work and he needed to tear down the cinder block and start over with the original material. Boy did I make a mistake in saying just finish what was started. This added nearly $4,000 dollars to my cost. The company ask for 50% down with 35% at the half-way point and the rest at completion. Completion to them means when they get a call from the contractor, not when the customer is satisfied. After getting ALL their money I noticed the paver patio was impoperly sloped and it took over a week to get them out. Also the top cap of the wall was not grouted at the joints. They were supposed to show up 2 different times. On the third time they showed up, but I could not watch over them to do the job right. I called the owner of the company, Ben, twice, left voicemails and sent him all the correspondence I had, via text, with Donnie. I texted Donnie about my dissapointment with the finished job and asked him to contact me. That was on Sunday July 16. Today is Friday July 21. No return call from the owner or his job superintendant. Hopefully if you read my rant you will stay away from Renovation Landscaping.

We had Ben out in March to review quite a bit of work we wanted done in our front and back yard. We felt that he was knowledgeable and professional and were told that he'd get back to us in about a week with a quote and design. Fast forward to over a month from his on-site visit, we've been given 3 different time frames where a quote and design have been promised and 3 times where we still have nothing in hand. I do understand that the COVID situation is tough on businesses right now but, I have not appreciated being given 3 deadlines and missing all three of them. At this point, we are pursuing a different company.

Renovations was a great group to work with. Ben, the owner, gave us great options for our patio and enhanced our original design. He also provided the necessary drawing to satisfy our HOA. His crew worked hard to squeeze the pouring of concrete in between snow and our 60 degree days. We chose the stamped concrete pattern and it and the color turned out beautiful. We'd use Renovations again.

We hired Renovations Landscaping to redo landscaping around our pond, demo and re pour a concrete pad and front sidewalk, and resolve a previous homeowner DIY sprinkler system setup in the front and back yards, we had a big project. We had several quotes and chose Ben and crew because they were reasonable in cost and could do the whole project not just pieces. The job started a day early which was great and the crew showed up and worked extremely hard every day. The crew that did the concrete was amazing the skill and efficiently they demonstrated was admirable. They had to work around HVAC and Electric work and were very accommodating. The whole crew was extremely professional and very very nice as they worked very hard. The whole project took 6 days and they busted butt every day working late and making sure we were happy with the work. We recommend using them for any landscaping or concrete needs and will be hiring them again for our additional outdoor projects.
