The Team at Renovation Landscaping were exceptional! The team that worked on my landscaping portion did a beautiful job and the Team that did my concrete went above and beyond. Super Happy with their work. I had one small hiccup with a burst pipe for my sprinkler system and they fixed it right away. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I recently moved to Castle Rock, CO and needed to do my backyard. I researched and found the best rated and best value and boy did these guys deliver. I had a huge dip in my backyard and wasn't sure what to do with it. Ben and Cole came out and gave me a good idea of what the could do when I told them what my ideas were. We were able to add a second patio, firepit, sod and rocks to surround the yard so the dogs couldn't dig. and to top it off our backyard is more level!!! They were very great at responding and keeping me updated throughout the entire process. One the crew showed up, they poured concrete and finished everything within 3 days. I wouldn't change a thing! Ben was great during the entire process! Gave us a very competitive bid. Before the project started we did a walk through with his foreman to make sure everyone was on the same page. Ben stopped by multiple times during the project to make sure everything was proceeding and that we were satisfied with the work. When the project was complete we did a final walk through before we gave the final payment. Very professional! We would definitely use them again!!!

Renovations Landscaping just finished up our backyard landscaping today and our family couldn't be happier! Ben was very knowledgeable, honest and fair. He knew exactly what we wanted and designed a beautiful plan to submit to our HOA. Antonio and his crew worked so hard and were very respectful of our property. They worked very hard and cleaned up every day before they left. We were hesitant at first over a few negative reviews and their BBB rating but after speaking to the owner and seeing their other work we are SO glad we went with them. We received a few other quotes that came in a bit lower but the the other companies didn't seem to understand what we wanted as well as Ben did. The fact that they also work with a financing company that came back with better rates than any of the banks I checked was a plus. We also are a military supporting family so the fact that the owner is a vet also aided in our decision to choose them. I promise, Renovations Landscaping is the landscaping co you will want to check out. They went above and beyond.

Ben and his crew were outstanding. They provided a detailed estimate and were easy to work with regarding changes to the plan that affected the estimate.
The layout drawing reflected our common vision very well and made it simple to obtain HOA approval.
Their workmanship was very good. The concrete crew did an outstanding job on the stamped concrete patio. The plants are all growing nicely as is the new sod.
Best of all, our entire back yard was demolished and replaced in 4 days! That included the time to place the concrete for the patio! The entire process from the initial meeting to completion took about 2 weeks.
The final cost was in line for our expectations. All things considered, this project was amazing. I CANNOT RECOMMEND RENOVATIONS LANDSCAPING HIGH ENOUGH AND WILL USE THEM FOR ALL OUR LANDSCAPING NEEDS!

Louis was prompt with scoping the work and providing an estimate. He listened to our requests and concerns. Installation went smoothly and Ben spent time reviewing our maintenance questions. We are very happy with Renovations Landscaping as we feel their work improved the “curb appeal” of our home.

We will definitely recommend Ben and his team to friends and neighbors. We designed our own backyard for our brand new home - with concrete patio, fire pit, sitting wall, artificial turf and landscaping - and Ben was conscious of what we wanted but also gave us some recommendations that we appreciated. He was always very responsive to all our questions and concerns. We also really appreciated Manuel’s attention to detail and the pride he shows in his work. He even showed up when the temperature was 10 degrees to finish hooking up the fire pit! We still have some minor work left that has to be done when the weather is warmer, but we are very happy with our new backyard and we’re anxious to get to use it this Spring. We will definitely enjoy it for years to come.

UPDATE 7/31/23- In answer to Ben's response below, he did email me and I have since responded. However, no one has ever come to my property for warranty purposes. His claim is false. It disappoints me that I had to leave the below review to get a response. I texted the subcontractor to check if he has been paid for the work he did on my patio. He has not. I stand by my original review.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! I repeat, do not use Renovations Landscaping! I hired Ben to complete a stamped concrete patio in my back yard in November. They started right away and the patio looked wonderful initially, however a month in the cracks started showing up. I now have multiple cracks and fractures (through the entirety of the concrete slab) and Ben has not responded since March. I have given him multiple chances to make this right - probably too many. Additionally, he did not pay his sub contractor for the completed work and the poor man showed up at my door and left a note asking me to help him get paid. I tried unsuccessfully to help him. If you look at past reviews, lack of response and not paying contractors seems to be par for the course for Ben. I will seek legal action, as the only way to make this right (per another concrete contractor) is to take out the patio and lay a new one. I essentially threw away my money hiring this company.

UPDATE 5/13/22: The company responded and are fixing the few minor issues we have. Again, per my original post, we were very happy with their work. Minor issues will happen and they are now being fixed.

UPDATE 5/11/22: unfortunately, we have experienced some issues and Ben has been unresponsive. We have reached out multiple times with no text or call back. We were really happy with the original product then we realized issues. If Ben would just respond and talk to us we wouldn’t have had to change our rating.

***original***We recently had our backyard completely renovated by Ben and his team. They were professional, timely, and did an amazing job. We are extremely happy with the final product. They demoed our existing concrete and replaced it with stamped concrete (which looks awesome)! They also put in a retaining wall, pergola, fire pit, built in grill, new sod and plants, playground area, and bocce ball court. Our backyard looks completely different and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Thanks again Ben, Antonio, Chewy and the rest of the crew !!!!!

Great experience with Renovations Landscaping. We did a complete redo of our landscaping and could not be happier. Donnie and his team worked with us every step of the way and made sure everything was just what we wanted. Thank you for a job well done.

The work was timely and professional. Unfortunately, some of the trees we had planted did not fair well, and after some communication with the contractor, they were able to replace the trees in question.

After interviewing several firms and getting estimates, I selected Renovations for two reasons. First, their price was reasonable and second, Ben understood my vision for the backyard, had the vision and skills to deliver it, and was very flexible in working with me to get the outcomes I wanted at the best price. I was thrilled to see that the crew shared Ben's understanding, flexibility, and skills. Every crew member was ready to work hard and to make sure what they were doing met my expectations. As work progressed, they asked for confirmation that what they were about to do was exactly what I wanted. For example, I wanted a particular type of raised beds and arranged with Ben to order it myself. They had never installed this type of bed, but when time came to install them, the crew checked with me multiple times to assure that they were doing exactly what I wanted. They were also very quick to learn how to build and install the beds correctly, and took pride in their work. Overall I have been very pleased with the communications, the work ethic, and the outcome of my project with Removations.

I highly recommend Renovations Landscaping! Ben and Donnie were absolutely wonderful to work with. They both were available at any time with any questions and made the entire process run smoothly. I love my backyard. They did a great job designing exactly what I wanted. :)

Our yard looks beautiful! Donnie and his team worked really hard to ensure they gave us exactly what we were looking for, and they were flexible when we asked for adjustments. Their pricing is very fair and we would absolutely use them again in the future!

While doing research for landscaping companies my wife and I looked at quite a few places. We had heard of Renovations and been referred to them, but while doing research we were hesitant to use them due to recent reviews. However, after meeting with Louis (sales guy) and Ben (owner) and going through the entire process with them, we felt comfortable with moving forward. They installed a beautiful water feature/pond, sod, sprinkler system, did some stone work as well, and installed a bunch of plants. The landscape design and free estimate from Louis was detailed and very easy to understand. Jonathan and his crew were very respectful of the property and kept it clean and tidy each day. They did a wonderful job and communicated with us whenever we needed anything. Like I said earlier, we were very hesitant to move forward, but after our experience with Renovations we would highly recommend using them!

Great experience with Renovations Landscaping from all angles. From the start with Donnie coming out to see the site and provide estimate. To Gilberto and Cynthia and their team on site and the great work they did. All done with great comms, wonderful quality and timeliness throughout. They do what they say and are just really good people to interact and do business with. Our yard looks amazing and prior drainage issues are gone! Highly recommend this group!

I was very impressed with Donnie who was my Project Manager. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. I had my own design and he gave great suggestions and input to improve on what I already had in place. I was also impressed with the actual landscape contractor during the project. The trouble began after I had made final payment and found out that the landscaping contractor had broken our back-yard sprinkler system. It took many emails/texts, through both Renovations and the contractor directly, with numerous no-shows and the sprinkler system still doesn't work. I would recommend Renovations specifically because of Donnie and his attempts to make things right but should have done my due diligence and requested reviews on the landscape contractor they hired. Overall - it was a positive experience from beginning to completion of the actual project but quite a frustrating end once we discovered the broken sprinklers.

In November 0f 2022 Renovations took $11,000 from us for a deposit to start a job. After that they never showed up and did a bit of work. I have asked for my deposit back in every way possible but get ignored. There is no excuse or explanation for this except this company appears predatory towards seniors and even apparently its own contracted employees. Do yourself a favor. Look them up on the BBB and read the reviews and complaints tabs. Ben the owner operator is a real smooth talker, so watch out.

We’ve been able to resolve the issue with the trees that needed replacement through the warranty process.

Initially, we were happy with the landscaping worked performed by this company. We had 2 trees immediately show signs of distress, and they fastly died. We've been working with them for over a year to try and get these trees replaced, without success. Most recently, I've emailed and left a voicemail (no one ever answers the phone).

Renovations Landscaping completed our yard renovation about 2 weeks ago. Donnie, Geraldo, and Cynthia and their crew did a great job. They arrived as scheduled! Worked hard and diligently and did a fantastic job! They cleaned up afterwards and left the yard in its new splendor! If you’d like a referral, I’d be glad to recommend them to you! Thank you again!

Need to amend the review, unfortunately. Two of the three trees planted have died and the raised flower bed has multiple loose stones. These are minor fixes, but they were supposed to be under warranty and we should not have to do the work ourselves after what we paid them. After months of very delayed communication and promises that it’ll be done, they have now gone completely silent. We had planned to use them for major projects over the next few years, but we will definitely look elsewhere after this experience. Still happy with the project but the company does not stand behind its work and will ignore you if there’s no profit for them. Pretty silly reason to drive away a customer.

Fantastic experience! We have a major outdoor project which will involve several steps. We were interested in doing business with Renovations because they do it all, landscaping, patios/covers, retaining walls, etc. Their responsiveness was wonderful. When we finally got community approval for our project, the crew was onsite at 8am the very next day. Manuel and his team were awesome and so courteous to our family. We are so happy with the results and we’re eager to get going with them on the rest of the project! Can’t recommend enough.
