We had our old front yard area re-landscape and refreshed, it changed the whole feel of our home exterior and driveway. Matt was extremely professional, knowledgeable and prompt. I had an idea of what I wanted, but he took it to the next level with some creative ideas! The whole team, Gonzalo, Marcos and David seemed to work nonstop. The entire process with Hugh’s Landscaping from start to finish is highly recommended!

Outstanding customer service, responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow thru. Their pricing is competitive and very fair. Scheduling was super easy and communication was OUTSTANDING! I’ve worked with a bunch of other landscaping companies before and none of them have been as good as these guys. Our yard was a mess and by the time they were done, it looked brand new!

My job was small — but I’m very impressed with this company on every level — from how promptly Becky reached out to me…to how timely Sam met with me to assess my need…to Antonio’s great care in making sure that my job was completed to my satisfaction…to the “welcome” card I received so quickly, signed by all the staff. Everything was quick, seamless, reasonably priced, and went very smoothly.

Hughes has done several landscaping projects for us and did them very well. They also provide lawn mowing and maintenance and sprinkler maintenance. We are pleased with their services. Office staff are friendly and courteous. BTW, the honeybees love the spirea bushes they planted!
2025 update: We were afraid we'd lost the honeybees--didn't see any until August when the spirea bloomed and now we have lots of bees! Thanks, Hughes.

We hired Hughes this summer for a backyard project and for an install of some new sod in our front yard. We were very pleased with the final results and felt it was a good value for the money spent. Matt was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries and concerns, and Gonzalo’s sod job had no issues and now our front yard looks much much better.

We chose Huges Landscaping to re-do our Front & Back Yards, in a home we just moved into. Replacing scarce grass that was mostly weeds & black wood chips with a Beautiful Xeriscaped yard with plants, bushes, rock of different size and color along with a drip system. The house is a 1970's built ranch home and the yards transformed our house into a more modern, revised & water conscious version that compliments the style. Matt our project manager was great with advice, a plan and onsite visits to assure our project was to our vision, right up to the placement of plants from the drawing to planting. The team doing the removal of the old lawn and new installation of our xeriscape worked so hard right down to every detail. As our plants thrive in this install we would happily work with Huges Landscaping to even further enhance our application.

Hughes has provided lawn maintenance services for us as well as property cleanup. Their crews make short work of projects that would take us days to accomplish. We have many pine trees on our property that shed a huge amount of pine needles this year. They were able to get them cleaned up and hauled off in a couple of hours. We were so very pleased!

Our home has an atrium with a water feature that needed to be updated. Matt presented us a wonderful solution, working with the limitations of the space and ease of maintaining the area. Antonio and crew brought the plans to life! We are very pleased with the outcome!

We have used Hughes Landscaping services for our sprinkler system since we bought our home in 2011. They have done the seasonal service of the system, twice a year, and done repair and replacement work on the sprinklers when needed. Each visit by their friendly and knowledgeable crew has made the continued decision to have them do the work, a no brainer. The office people make it easy to make appointments and change them as necessary. All in all, Great Job Hughes !!

Great experience! We had to reroute, rebuild and expand our existing sprinkler system. After calling, Matt came out promptly and inspected the site with me to determine what I was needing done with the system. He drew up the proposal, which we accepted, and started the project. The job was promptly completed. We are very pleased with the quality of the work by the employees on the job, lead by Antonio. Antonio was a gem to work with. Very knowledgeable with knowing how to properly lay out the system for the best coverage with efficient & effective use of water.

Matt and the crew did an awesome job on my front yard. Matt was easy to work with and listened to my input on the design, worked with my schedule to do the install. Matt and the crew showed up on time and everyone put in a full days work to remove sod, add topsoil, move rock, plant, set up irrigation and mulch. The crew got my approval after setting/before planting the perennials to make sure I liked the final layout. Everything was cleaned up before the crew left. Outstanding job!

Hughes Landscaping not only made our planter box look amazing and not like we had given up on our yard, but they are amazing connectors to businesses of any other home services needs that we happened to mention. Matt Akabane is top-notch and we will only work with him on any of our outdoor landscaping needs moving forward. With how hot it is outside, we have "winter watered," and I'm sure it will pay dividends in the spring so that our trees and grass don't die from this influx of heat! Hughes was hired to recreate our community's front entrance area by the community sign. Matt A. met with us, created a design from our vision and he and his crew completed the work. They did a fantastic job! Matt was excellent to work with: thoughtful, thorough, a great communicator, and professional. They were done in 2.5 days and each day cleaned up before they left. I had an amazing experience working with Matt and his team. Matt has an amazing eye for design and was able to transform my yard into an oasis. I absolutely love the final product. We put artificial turf in both my front and back yard... it looks and feels amazing.

Matt and team were great! We tackled a large project across front and back yards with rocks, boulders, retaining walls, flagstone patio and all new plants. The team worked extremely hard and went beyond our expectations for workmanship and extras we didn’t ask for. Many neighbors have commented on the final product and can’t believe how efficiently a team of three conquered the task. The low water and low maintenance design is exactly what we wanted. We’re very appreciative!
