It was such a pleasure dealing with Daniel and the whole team at CO Eco Mechanical! Unlike most plumbers I’ve dealt with, they were more focused on the right solution and truly aligning the product with our needs, as opposed to selling a preferred vendor list. They share our concern for the environment and are focused on smart energy related approaches. They took the time to walk through the quote and identified available rebates. The team showed up early (as requested) on the install day, were quick and clean with their work. They appear to genuinely enjoy their trade and it shows with their attitude and professionalism. I plan to work with them again in the near future and highly recommend CO Eco Mechanical to anyone considering HVAC upgrades.

We contacted four companies to get advice and bids on installing a heat pump system and backup gas furnace. We opted to go with Colorado Eco-Mechanical for three reasons: (1) Daniel Howell, the owner, was our primary contact and he designed the system (he has a mechanical engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines). (2) His company specializes in these systems and had great reviews online. (3) The design and equipment that he specified seemed like the best approach for what we needed. The installation went quickly and with no surprises, his team was fantastic, and we’re had zero issues.

Daniel and his crew did a fantastic job installing two mini splits in our house. Initially we were going to install a traditional a/c unit however our HVAC system was not centrally located. This presented some challenges that Daniel worked through and ultimately came up with the perfect solution for the areas that we needed to cool. I highly recommend this company as they are professional and very knowledgeable with the trade.

Our 33 year old furnace gave out the day before the first snow storm and we were tasked with finding a replacement quickly. We wanted to explore a heat pump option with a back up furnace but all off the traditional HVAC companies we had used in the past for repairs were not very knowledgeable about heat pumps. Eco mechanical was knowledgeable and professional. They coordinated the electrician work and the inspection and were up to date on all available rebates for the project. Highly recommend.

Colorado Eco-mechanical solved the problems we had with the first CERV and mini-split we installed in our passive house certified house. They sized the new units perfectly and have been doing yearly maintenance on them. They truly understand all the new technology and how it works together. We just had them install a new heat pump water heater which is working beautifully. The guys are great and easy to work with. On time and full explanations of how to operate everything. The experience was as easy as can be. After talking to a lot of companies, and going all-electric became unworkable, I got referred to Colorado Eco-Mechanical and it was all so smooth. Responsive, quick, and over-communicated to ensure I was on the same page. They even handled the added complication of having to hire a mason to make the opening larger on the side of the building for my furnace. Would highly recommend!

Daniel and his team were gracious and patient on a project that took some twists and turns, most notably around product availability and Denver's commercial permitting process. The AC in our condo blew out, and we were looking for an affordable heat pump solution that would keep us comfortable while getting us off our building's central gas boiler for space heating. Our completed project is a success on both fronts. The minisplit came out at roughly $1,200 out of pocket when we'd earlier gotten quotes for ducted systems that would have cost $23k before rebates and incentives. Through all the single digit nights this January, we never needed any supplemental or backup heat from the boiler. So far we've been able to beat spring heat as well.

While the project took longer than expected, Daniel and his team were responsive along the way and worked collaboratively with us as owners to meet the needs of rebate programs, permitting, and inspection. It is quiet, efficient, and keeps our house at the perfect temp.10/10 recommend!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and they did clean work! Colorado Eco Mechanical installed a heat-pump water heater for my house house last year and tied it into the existing plumbing with very clean work. It has been performing great and holding up well, and I would use them again.

When my (mid-90's era) AC finally gave up the ghost last year, I had a heat pump installed by Colorado Eco-Mechanical. I have no complaints whatsoever, and would be happy to recommend them. During the planning phase, they presented several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of each. The installers were professional, courteous, and on-time. However, what earns the positive review from me is their commitment to long-term customer satisfaction - shortly after the unit was installed, an unusual and intermittent electrical problem manifested in my home. This problem was difficult to diagnose, but rather than washing their hands of the matter, they stayed with the problem until it was completely resolved (it turned out to be a subtle manufacturing defect with the unit itself, not with the installation, and we eventually got a replacement part via warranty). I would definitely use them again.

They are highly recommend, and I rarely say that! I had them install a heat pump for my 1977 house. They were very clear in communicating my options and did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time, professional, organized, and clean. It was a tight group of professionals starting with the quote, then installation of the unit, electrician and activation. Daniel’s expertise and communication style made me feel comfortable. My house has some unique features and it required a custom fit, you can tell they were experienced in dealing with this sort of thing. They made sure to cover the lines outside with material that is paintable. They taught me about the system and how to use the thermostat. Everything runs great, and I couldn’t be happier.

This experience was about as smooth as it could be. I had our furnace crap out on us and called quite a few contractors about replacing it and our A/C with a heat pump system. Eco Mechanical answered all my questions, and helped me figure out the best system for my needs.

It wasn't the cheapest quote we got, but the system they priced out is a nice Bosch Ultra with Furnace backup for really cold days. After rebates from Xcel, Erie, and Boulder County - it was an affordable upgrade.

The crew was extremely polite and asked before cutting holes or running new pipes to ensure they didn't mess with house aesthetics. The city inspector was very critical, and still found nothing that needed to be fixed.

The system is quiet, works well and gives me good data to see how things are working (if you're into them at type of thing).

I would absolutely work with them again, but also luckily it should be a long, long while before my furnace or heat pump crap out again
