We had a swamp cooler and decided to go with forced air. 1st Choice Mechanical installed forced air heating and a/c . Excellent installation job, friendly staff and great communication. We will will call on 1st Choice Mechanical for any future HVAC needs.

Top notch guys here. My boiler went out they were at my place within an hour to check it and had it replaced a couple days later, would have been next day if i didnt have to deal with my home warranty on it. Would definitely do business with them again and highly recommend.

I am very pleased in the work of 1st choice mechanical. Not only were they very professional they were also very friendly from strat to finish. I felt like the company went over and beyond to accommodate me into their busy schedule. I will continue to recommend 1st choice mechanical for they are the best.

Rich was pleasant, extremely helpful and professional. He helped me diagnose a couple issues and went above and beyond what I expected. Will definitely use them again.

After discussing the my water source heat pump AC issue I was able to get a quick service scheduled. Tad was very knowledgeable on the system, and after quick diagnosis with the right tools for a heat pump, made a same day service on the unit. AC is back !

A/C was not working well, the tech they sent was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He showed me a couple of things to look for and do each season. I would use recommend them to others good experience

A response to your reply I called on Saturday at 2:00pm I received your text at 4:00pm and it has been serviced just not with your company because I gave you plenty of my money when you installed my units. It was a condenser that went out. I knew your company is shady like that but guess what you have 2 more years with my furnace. Let’s hope that you won’t have to fix it. Oh wait don’t worry I know not to call past 4:30pm and never on the weekends. I know not to use you for anything. I learned from your mistakes who to use and not to use. Simply no customer service whatsoever, and my new HVAC guy came and knew what was wrong with out him hawing about checking everything.

6/29/2024 3 years later...my ac is not blowing cold air. I contact Angela once again. She won't return calls but she'll respond to text messages. Pretty much I'm poo out of luck! My air conditioner is not blowing out cold air just luke-warm air! No emergency services available. She did state that I would have pay everything out of pocket. i wouldn't have minded it Just to fix my air. Please reconsider this company not to do any kind of work for you. I had to call another company to fix this! GRR

I said I would update this review once I see how they above and beyond.
Day of installation time to show up, window of 9-10 no show until 3:00pm I was very upset. All I could do is listen to them giggle and talk in Spanish. I didn’t mind because they really didn’t know I knew what they were saying. The words that came out of their mouths. At 9:00pm I said I had enough. They said they locked the side gate nope my dog got out. All we heard out of Angela and Rich’s mouth is I’m sorry over and over. They didn’t finish the job of course. So the owner Rich said he fired all 3 workers. So now he’s even more over loaded. Finally Rich finished, he had to come back and fix the AC line. We went out to get our gas range. He put the gas part wrong so the range won’t fit to the wall. Calls were made either daily or every other day. It was me calling to find out what was happening. No customer service what so ever and no follow up. Last I asked was some information so I could get my rebates from United and Xcel. Well Angela said I have to resign him up. Well that was a month ago. If you want someone who is not 1/2 fast and no communication go to them. They are cheap, they carry Goodman. I pray once I need to use my warranty it won’t be a mess!! If I was smart I would have gone with someone else.

I strongly urge you to consider finding a different HVAC company than this when searching for air conditioning installation. These guys are the worst. We had AC installed with them over a year ago at our home in Park Hill and since then there has been a mountain of unexpected costs and issues that arose from horrible work that we have had to deal with. The company would send out different contractors who did shotty work. They would come out, do a messy horrible job, cut corners and then the owner would send the next incompetent person to try and fix their mistakes. The owner took 0 responsibility of the horrible work.

At this moment the newest issue we have encountered is that they apparently short changed us a filter box on our system so now we need to once again fix our new system and add in the filter box that should have been there from the start. We have also had leaks and water issues with the AC.

Overall, RUN from these guys. They promise the world and deliver junk.

Our AC was leaking and there were some other leaks coming from this same issue. I called up a BUNCH of companies and Rich's team with Angela were fantastic. Angela worked on the weekend to discuss w me and was VERY knowledgeable about the process and asked some great questions which showed how much experience she has in the business. Then Rich was super nice and despite us having an access problem, they did not give me any hassle about it and was kind enough to come back when we fixed the lock issue and they could gain access to the unit while the tenant was traveling.

They just fixed it today and it's in great working condition hopefully will be for quite some time and I'm grateful for their help!

They sent a technician to my house the first time to fix my heater. He had to come back a few days later to replace a part. The tech DID NOT fix my heater either time he was here. They did not respond to my rental company when they called to let them know my heater had not been fixed properly. I don't recommend anyone use this company as they aren't very thorough. I request through my rental company that my landlord get her money back for charging for a job they absolutely did not finish.

Rich and team did a great job installing my A/C (3 minisplit heads and 2 compressors). Their quote came in at about $3k less than the next lowest bid, and they were very fast to install the system. There have been two issues since the install, but both have been resolved quickly by Rich and his team.

Great to work with. Angela was prompt, returned calls and kept me in the loop for the whole process. My A/C went out with 90 degree days. Was able to see what she could do and made it happen. Both technicians that worked on my unit were professional and explained the whole process. Great company to do business with.

I had a issue with my A/C and Thermostat stop working on Monday night. I reached out to them stating I need someone to come and look at it, but I could not be there. They were great came the next day and fix a electrical issue and was back in business. great people and family owned, so I was comfortable with their whole company.

Had my second furnace replacement with 1st Choice. Different house. There were some hiccups with this house getting it up to code that caused some delays but Manuel was prompt each day and communicated all the challenges. At the end of the job, everything was great, no change orders and the new furnace is working like a charm. Thanks 1st Choice!

1st Choice Mechanical continues to provide excellent service. They are fast, professional and always on time. We have an older Evaporative Cooler and they have helped us keep it running efficiently and quietly. It's working better now than when we first got it. Thank you 1st Choice Mechanical. 5 🌟's

Manuel installed our hot water heater yesterday, 5/9/25. I really enjoyed him. He was friendly, competent, and complete. And the water heater works great. We would be happy to use 1st Choice Mechanical again.
