People are too busy with others to help, left and went to Lowes instead

Let me tell you how impressed I was with Home Depot on one 1035 Memorial Parkway NW. in Huntsville 35801. As I was walking in there were two guys one named Rick loading another vehicle. I told him we we needed 50 sheets of half inch OSB. He said a lift has 69 pieces on it. And that they would start unloading 19 pieces so when we finish shopping, they were ready to load. We got a few of the things we needed in the store and went to the commercial checkout. I didn’t catch the lady’s name that check this out, but she was very nice and helpful. As soon as I paid for everything, they had us pull through with our trailer and loaded this up immediately very professionally. Very impressed with Rick and his associate that loaded us. Thank you all very much for getting us on the road very quickly. Very nice to see attentive associates.

Ordered a storm door and install. Waited 2 over a week for them to even schedule that. Finally i had to call the install guy myself and schedule that. Home depot have him the wrong door. Waited over a month i want to say for them to right door to get shipped in. They kept giving me incorrect dates of when it was going to arrive. I called multiple times each week trying to find out what was going on with it. They Kept saying "ill leave a Note and call me back" They never do. I wanted this door installed before it called cold. This had been a nightmare trying to deal with them. Finally they said it will be there on the 20th and they would call the installer to schedule an install. Again they never did. This is by far the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. #lowesallday

Tom Tyler in your Plumbing Dept. was most helpful to me. He told me to replace a broken ball rod assembly rather than the complete lavatory pop-up drain assembly in my bathroom, thus saving me a lot of money; he found the proper ball rod and instructed me on how to install it....he saved me a big plumbing bill. Tom is a "good" man and knows his stuff and knows how to help customers to save money. Bravo ! to Tom Tyler @ Home Depoy.

$37 whole house carpet installation. Here's what they don't tell you. $75 pickup and delivery. Overcharge for stairs - $11-18 per step - know what they are charging you for, mine were the $11, they called them out as $18 on half of them. $44 for carpet caps... what's that? Don't need them. Total labor charges for ONE room and 13 steps (there are 12 and a landing) $306. So... $733 worth of carpet and pad, installation NOT $37, BUT $306... total with tax $1,040 WOW!

I specifically asked about hidden charges and items that would change that installation fee... nope, I was assured that that was not the case.

And it took 3 days to get the measurement appointment, another week for the estimate and it would take another 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to get the installation.

I was afraid I was wasting my time.. now I know. Don't waste your time. It's NOT a deal.

Good place to buy building materials among other things for your home the other thing about bad about Home Depot you cannot have a fine unemployed in certain departments when you need them Home Depot is the worst about customer service

Had an awful experience, Home Depot sent out three installers that actually were sub contractors and weren't Evan from this area, they could barely speak English. The quality of the work was terrible.i would never have work done in my home by a Home Depot sub contractor again, no way .

Muy mal servicio en el departamento de 16 de drills espere por m Más de 30 minutos esperando al al que atiende ahí en ese departamento más de 30 minutos no puede ser, hay muchos empleados y todo, pero muchos platicando otras en el teléfono no sé si estén haciendo su trabajo bien.

They gave me great service, were very helpful, kind, helpful, got me in and out as quick as lightning ⚡. Will always shop at Home Depot, whenever I need to Repair something & Do It Myself!

Do my own services but let's talk about home depot ... went in to buy a water heater once I found an employee to help he and another guy did load it on a cart for me the other guy (no home depot apron or anything to show he worked there) walked next to me to help me push the cart to the checkout (kind of weird pushing the cart together) then he asked me if I needed help loading it into my car I said "idk is it heavy" he looked at me funny and walked away... I checked out pushed the cart outside (by myself this time) walked past two employees outside no one offered any assistance... in the end this 62 year old woman was able to load the 109lb water heater into my car by myself.
