Miguel and Fortress Construction did a fantastic job adding a beautifully designed 12x20 screen porch to our home. We could not be happier with the project design and quality construction. Miguel is the ultimate professional and his construction knowledge is outstanding. He did an outstanding job responding to every phone call and question throughout the process. His construction crew were professional and extremely capable. Their attention to doing the job right not just getting it done was appreciated. My wife and I are delighted with our new screen porch. I highly recommend Fortress Construction and Miguel and would be happy to speak with anyone about our great experience.

My deck looks incredible! Despite the bumps to get it there, which I am glad I asked. What people don't understand is why the process takes as long as it does. The request for the building permit goes to the county; every county has a different requirement and, compliments of COVID, the county takes what feels like a few years to approve or reject the plans: all subjective to how that county clerk is feeling that day. Then the materials get ordered, but COVID has delayed that by months as well. Once the materials arrive, then the magic happens and a deck appears by the time you get back from the office. Highly recommended.

Poor quality and value. I hired OG to strip a deck down to it's foundation and replace all wood, included deck rails and steps. This was three years ago on a rental property. Oscar Garcia charged me $3,333 for the work. My tenant has now vacated and I had contractors inspect the entire property, including the deck. After three years, the deck looks worse that before they replaced the wood! That is because they used nails instead of screws to secure the wood. The result in 3 years is that all the nails are popping up, the wood is warped and the slats of wood, especially on the stairs are loose! I contacted Oscar Garcia, and he says there is no warranty and I was charged a price for using nails, not screws. I was never given the option of using screws instead of nails, and of course, I don't know the long term results of using nails. Needless to say, Oscar stated he remembers telling me this, 3 years ago! Yeah right! He must have the memory of an elephant if he remembers this. The invoice doesn't not detail whether nails or screws are used, so it is evident he didn't make this clear or inform me of this. Now he wants me to pay him to come fix the deck all over again. That is not going to happen! If he is a professional contractor, he clearly new that the nails would not last and the deck would then warp, which would cause me to call him again and pay him again to fix this. Beware of this company. They are not transparent at all about what they are doing and clearly cut corners on this project. Your deck might look good now, but wait until some time has passed, it will look a hot mess! I would give him 0 stars if I could.

I hired this company to resurface and expand a deck. I purchased the materials and they provided the labor, design, and permitting. I am happy with the results and I recommend Don Óscar García's construction company. One problem I had is that they didn't call Miss Utility and I had to deal with a broken fiber optic cable and the internet provider so, if you are going to hire them, make sure they have a ticket with Miss Utility. Other than that, they are very professional and I liked how Oto, the person in charge at the job site, performs. His colleagues Néstor and Héctor are great workers.

I recently hired 1961 Construction as a subcontractor to replace a client's roof, and I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. Our project went off smoothly and we got superior results. Additionally, they offered the best price and service package (they came smack dab in middle of all cost estimates -- exactly where you want your costs -- neither too high nor low).

The deck turned out great! Tony and team did a good job. We have been using it daily since the new deck was installed. They were priced much more reasonably than some other larger competitors however the quality is top notch.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony for a project through Make-A-Wish Colorado. One of our wish kids wanted his very own treehouse built in his backyard for his wish and Tony did not hesitate to make it happen and built him a treehouse from the ground up. He even built the wish kid a custom deck for his treehouse and incorporated all of the items on the kid's wish list for the treehouse components. Tony provides great quality of work, has exceptional customer service skills, always goes above-and-beyond, and makes sure to see each job through to the end. After being upsold on multiple previous bids, I was very pleased to be put in touch with Tony and his crew. Tony took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, the timing we expected, and the budget that we had to work with. Tony had creative solutions to the inevitable problems that arise, was respectful and courteous, and at the end of the day provided a product that was exactly what we had in mind and was built in a rock-solid fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Tony and his team again and would recommend this company to my closest friends and family - hopefully he'll be building a deck for my brother soon.

Tony designed and built a beautiful deck and pergola for us. He was awesome to work with throughout the process - communicative, responsive, timely, and all at a great bargain! We were supposed to have a deck built last summer ('21), but after our contractor ditched us, we had to start over this summer. We feel so lucky to have found Tony! For our large beautiful, two-level deck with a pergola he quoted the same amount as we had planned to pay for just the deck last year. The pergola turns our deck into an outdoor living space - it is perfect! Tony directed us to an amazing mineral composite product which keeps the deck cool and makes it last longer. Oh, and the quote included this higher quality product, so the original quote was the price we paid. All materials were high quality, no corners cut! We couldn't be happier with our deck! Could not be happier with the work Tim did on my deck repair! He was professional, extremely hard working, friendly, willing to help outside of the scope of what he was there for and did a fantastic job! Was so easy to communicate with this company and have my project done quickly and beautifully. Will be using Tim again for future projects! 10 out of 10 for sure.

The Cobalt Pine Co was a great company to work with. Tony and his team demo'd our old deck and completely redesigned our new deck. Tony was flexible when we wanted subtle changes in the design and was very knowledgeable about building materials, design, and construction. We love our new outdoor space.
