I found this company through a referral from my brother in law who used them previously and was grateful for how quickly they were able to come and fix the issue! They squeezed me in after a full day in the evening so that I wouldn’t have to wait another day. Even helped flush out my drain pipe

I do not trust anyone else but Alex with K&E to work on my AC. We had him out a year ago to repair our unit that is over 20 years old. Fast forward to now that the motor went which was another issue, instead of replacing it, Alex suggested a new unit and gave us an amazing price! I know this because my neighbor got a similar unit a few years ago and paid $3,000 more than us! Alex showed up the morning scheduled on time with help and got us a brand new system inside and out in less than 8 hours! I’m looking forward to lower power bills thanks to Alex and his team! They also offer financing which is great for anyone who can't pay out of pocket for a new unit.

K & E services did an outstanding job fixing my A/C. Not only did he get the job done but he got it done quick and efficiently. Alex was very personable and down to earth and wasn’t there just for the money either. He walked me through everything he did and how he solved our issue. Oh man where to start. Our AC was out and the best quote I got was just crazy. We did some Google searching and great reviews led us here to Alex. I got a quote for a new outside unit that was much more doable for us and Alex explained everything to me clearly and was always just a text away. On the day he and his team worked fast and efficiently. You get it all when you work with these guys. Toss this review in the pile with the other five stars.

Exceptional Service – A True Lifesaver!

When my AC suddenly broke during a scorching 99°+ summer day in Orlando, I called nearly ten different 24/7 emergency AC repair lines—3 companies had no availability, some closed at 5pm, others had disconnected numbers. I was exhausted, sweating, and losing hope, until a friend of a neighbor recommended Alex’s company—and thank goodness they did.

Alex answered on the very first ring. He listened carefully to what I thought the issue might be and, without hesitation, told me he could be at my home by 8:30 PM that same evening—within just a few hours. I was stunned and beyond relieved.

When he arrived, the issue turned out to be much worse than expected. It wasn’t just low Freon—wires had been accidentally pulled out from the outdoor unit, and the motherboard was disconnected from the pins. Despite it being dark, Alex got straight to work. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient—he had everything fixed and my AC blowing cold air again by 9:15 PM.

Alex from K&E A/C and Refrigeration is a true professional and a lifesaver! I had a brand-new variable AC unit installed by another company, but from day one, something wasn’t right. The unit was running for 18 hours straight, and despite coming out three times, the original installer couldn’t figure it out. He even made me change my thermostat, and when that didn’t work, he blamed it on "a very hot summer." To make matters worse, he wouldn't respond to my calls and texts to let him know that something still was not right.

Then came Alex. He came to my home twice, thoroughly diagnosed the issue, and despite my system not even having the proper air handler (thanks to the original installer), he worked around it and got the unit running as efficiently as possible. His knowledge, skill, and problem-solving were unmatched.

What really stood out was Alex’s follow-up. About an hour after he left my home, he texted to check how the system was performing — something the first company never even considered doing. That level of care and professionalism is rare.

I’m incredibly grateful my mom’s supervisor recommended Alex and his company. Who also installed a brand new unit for. we had the pleasure of working with Alex and his crew. the entire team was extremely professional. Alex was attentive and in constant communication with us throughout the entire process of obtaining a new AC unit. he was able to provide an in person estimate just several hours of us calling requesting a quote. his company is fairly priced and installation day was several days after quote and went smoothly. highly recommend this company

Let me start by saying I VERY rarely write reviews- but K&E is SO good, they absolutely deserve the praise!

If you're looking for a trustworthy, personable, and reliable A/C company… then you’ve found the one!

- Long story:
When our aunt needed a new reputable HVAC company, my brother and I absolutely scoured Google, Yelp, etc. to try and recommend some options to her. It was much harder than expected to find someone reputable and honest. After doing a ton of research and speaking with a few companies on the phone, our last call was with K&E. From that conversation, it was a no-brainer — they instantly became our recommendation just from how personable and knowledgable they were. They came out to our aunt's house as soon as possible, and since then, she's had nothing but excellent service, communication, and pricing from them!

Recently, I had some concerns with my own A/C in my apartment. Feeling overwhelmed and unsure what to do, I reached out to Alex at K&E. He was extremely patient while I shared what I was noticing- I also explained that since I was renting, I was unable to schedule an appointment just yet, but I was hoping for some professional insight to give me some peace of mind. Alex was *incredibly* kind and empathetic, and offered to take a look at a video of what I was seeing. Any other company would’ve pressured me to schedule a visit, but Alex took the time to walk me through what I was seeing, shared professional insight, and what he recommended as next steps - all without ANY pressure. Mind you, he did all of this to help me *in between* his work so I could confidently let my landlord know. It was genuinely clear that he cared about helping and I’m *insanely* grateful for his honesty, professionalism, empathy, and willingness to share his expertise.

Alex was great to work with! He gave a great quote for a great product. They installed 4 days later. Trusted him into my house without anyone home to finish the job. Went over and beyond trimming bushes around where the outside unit went. Cleaned up when they were finished. Never would have known they were there except a quiet air conditioner unit. I called them and explained my issue and ask a simple question related to the issue. The owner replied that the question was ridiculous and told me that I had to decide if I want to send my address to have a technician coming to my place (for 55$ charge) or not. Of course I won't send you my address, you are rude and sound incompetent. I am sorry for you but someone else will get the job
