10:00- 2:00 window - called at 2:00 to say it would be 3:00. Arrived after 3:30. Price quoted was ridiculous. Paid $89 service charge and was told if I called them back out after getting other quotes I would pay that again.

Called another local shop. Same job, half the price without telling them Ben Franklin’s quote.

Call around before booking these.

2 stars because tech was a nice guy who, “doesn’t set the prices.”

Do not believe their claim of paying you if they are late to the appointment. It is not true. Reduced to one star

Looking for a new company - 4.7 google rating so scheduled online & Received email and text confirmation for an 8am-10am slot. Called after 10am to get an ETA and the exact comment was, "Oh, we don't have anyone available to come out today." I let them know that I hadn't received notice of a cancelation of my appt. They said they had availability for the next day 10am-2pm. Called next day @10am and was told I was definitely on the schedule. At 1:30 I received a call that the tech was held up and he wouldn't be out until after 4:30 or later. We had at least an hour or two of work so we had to cancel due to Friday evening plans. Not the best first impression :/

I called for a clogged drain for my washer. The visit started off with the technician trying to up sale his services, a maintenance plan and inspect my house for other issues I may not be aware of. I finally asked him to just address my reason for calling and leave the sales info out until I see what kind of services are provided. After giving me a quote, I agreed to pay 300 to get my problem resolved. Now after several hours of work snaking my drain from the roof and the washer, two additional floods that I had to clean up and I still have the same problem, and the technician seemed to have no clue as to why.

Robert arrived early, consulted with me, put together a detailed and transparent estimate, and offered guidance about the process without my asking.

Robert acted professionally, friendly, and considerately to his customer and the house and yard.

His estimate came to my email within five minutes of his leaving.

Habib did an excellent job installing my new water softner. He knew exactly the best location for it and took the time to explain the installation, how it works and what I need for upkeep. Not only was he an expert but he was also friendly and respectful. I felt confident about my decision to have the water softner installed.

Thomas was amazing! We were having issues with our sink water pressure. He took his time, researched for the right fitting and explained to me what would need to happen for it to work again but I decided to have a new faucet installed instead (I had purchased one just in case). He was professional, empathetic and extremely clean. He also loves dogs, lol :-)
Benjamin Franklin will always be my plumber of choice and Thomas is an awesome plumber and advisor!

Chris was amazing coming out to Siesta Key at 6:30pm on July 4th to unclog a unit that I manage! He was thorough, professional and clean! Very happy with the result.

Buyers Beware!!!! I am a service contract customer and experienced TWO BACK TO BACK NO SHOWS on routine service calls that both were scheduled well in advance. Cost me two unproductive days of my life sitting around all afternoon waiting in vain. First occurence I received a phone call after the arrival window stating that the technician was "held up" and would not be making the appointment. Second occurenece, no phone call at all. Unbelievable that companies like this are tolerated to exist in our community. Shame on them.

I had some issues with a couple other plumbing companies. I had an appointment scheduled with this company. I was able to install the toilet myself, so I ended up cancelling my appointment. However, customer service on the phone was good, communication about my upcoming appointment was good, and they were not going to charge a service call just to give me a quote (which is what a lot of other companies said they do.) To be fair, the lady on the phone says they normally do charge a service fee, but they had a promotion and were waving it. I hope they stick with waving that fee, because they will be my first call in the future when I have a plumbing issue.

Thomas and Marvin were both very helpful! They took time to explain things and answer questions. Thomas coordinated everything and Marvin did the actual installation of a water heater. They were thorough and ensuring everything was working correctly before they left. I was very pleased with This company and would use again.

Thomas was knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the options for dealing with my water heater's issues and arranged for installation of a replacement heater within the same day. The technician's work was outstanding. I am very happy with the new heater.

Habib was awesome! He fixed my outdoor spigot and was extremely professional. Highly recommend!!

Habib was very professional and accomplished his diagnosis straightaway. He then got to work on fixing our issue with our sink. When he finished his repair he then cleaned up and even moped the floor where he was working. My first plumber snaked my line, couldn't fix it, so no charge. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing snaked the line and couldn't fix it either. But they still charged me. Half price, but I still got charged. At least they helped me in the park office and let them know that the problem was underground and the park's responsibility. I signed for it, but I didn't understand they'd charge me if they were unsuccessful. Use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing at your own risk.

I put a request in on Angi at 9;30 pm for a plumbing repair and Ben Franklin called me in less than 1 minute. They also came out the next day to assess the issue and the repair was done the day after that. Nick Ogline was awesome!! Very professional. He installed a water heater and was quick efficient, and took the mess and the old water heater with him. Always arrived on the early side of the time window. I felt the repair was a little pricey but I know the work was done well. I would definitely use Ben Franklin plumbing again.

Mike was on time and performed an excellent job. He cleanly executed the removal of the old tank and installed the new one. He kept me informed throughout the process of every single step of the work being done. I highly recommend BFP and kudos to Mike.
