Extremely Disappointed. Misleading Name and Poor Service.

I called One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating at 5:30pm on a 108-degree day because my AC went out. I was told I was next in line with only one person ahead of me, but when I asked how many techs were working, they couldn’t give me a straight answer.

Three hours later, I got a call that rang once and immediately stopped, no chance to answer, and I was holding onto my phone the entire time. I called back instantly, was on hold for 10 minutes, and was then told the call was just to tell me I was next in line. That didn’t sit right with me, it felt like a stall tactic.

By 10:30pm, still sweating it out, I called again to ask for an update and got nothing but the runaround. At 11:30am, I finally gave up, canceled the service, and went to bed miserable in the heat.

The next morning, I called a different local company, they showed up in 20 minutes, replaced one simple part in 5 minutes, and charged me $45.

Frankly, naming your company “One Hour” feels misleading. I didn’t get service in one hour, or even five. It felt like I was strung along just to keep me on the hook until someone was available. The whole experience felt very corporate, with a scripted call center vibe, not like a company that genuinely cares.

I’d recommend staying away from this company if you’re in an emergency or value honest communication. There are better, faster, and more transparent companies out there.

Tyler was the technician. He was able to locate a clogged drain line flushed it and was the unit was blowing cold air again. Thanks 1 hour air for your timely service.

I have nothing but great things to say about One Hour Air! I spoke with three different companies after being without AC for over a week, and I needed to act fast. Out of everyone I talked to, Matthew from One Hour was by far the most thorough—he explained everything in a way I could actually understand.

I did need a completely new unit, and every company confirmed that, so there was no upselling or pressure tactics. I was lucky enough to get a call that they could install it a day earlier than expected, which was such a relief!

Greg and Orian showed up, went straight to work, and didn’t even let the rain slow them down. They were professional, efficient, and really nice. I just stayed out of their way and let them do their thing, and they did an amazing job.

Huge thanks to Matthew, Greg, and Orian for turning such a stressful situation into a smooth, positive experience. Definitely five stars all around!

This company charged us for dye to find a leak, never checked the leak, and tried to charge us $20K for a whole new unit. Refused to work on our unit- called AC Warehouse and they came out same day. They fixed our ac under $500, and didn’t lie straight to our face. They also came out to check the dye job and lied on the invoice and said didn’t show up to the appointment and then charged us $50 service fee but then told my husband he didn’t charge us anything. We have the bank statements. Can’t even get a supervisor to call us back. An absolute joke of a company

A Very Pleasant Experience
The level of service was exceptional during the entire process. The call was answered respectfully, service was scheduled promptly, and the technician was very professional in his interactions with both myself and my tenant.
I am property manager for a property development/management company, and this level of service is hard to find. Aqua Plumbing and Air performed our service for many years, and the last couple years customer focus has waned; leaving one to feel almost irrelevant. One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating understands and expresses at every level that payment is a reward for service. Thank You for your proficient service.

Had a crazy morning helping out a friend with an AC service while he was out of town. Was very fortunate to get Tyler from One Hour as he went above and beyond helping me push a car with a dead battery out and in the garage so he was able to access the handlers. He assisted in trying to get it jump started all while still getting his actual job done. AC fixed, crisis averted.

He was upbeat and nothing but helpful the whole time. Couldn’t have had a better guy come out this morning. Employee of the year as far as I’m concerned.

I was skeptical when I called because our previous technician, several months ago, was none of these things, so we were very pleased with the service and professionalism Jake provided.

Carlos did a great job servicing my ac system. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and explained everything he did. I highly recommend him!

One star because they never showed up. Waited all afternoon in a hot house and had to call their office since they never called me. I received a message that the technician was on his way and he never came; even lying about "traffic in the area" when I called the office again to get an ETA. Shame on you for doing this to people.

I’m thoroughly impressed with One Hour Air’s process. Very efficient and super friendly. Tyler arrived at our home in the time frame promised. Communication was
excellent throughout his visit. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to cool down our place while he worked on the main issue. His suggestions for
improvements to our system were appreciated and welcomed. No hard sell involved, just a sensible addition which will improve the quality of the air we breathe. Thank you Tyler and thank you One Hour Air!

Once a tech arrives, no problem. Company is horrible with service on the back end.
They don’t know what they’re doing and a callback from the branch manager is a punchline.
Having a service contract gets you no priority as far as I’m concerned.
On time or free is their slogan so let’s see how they compensate.

I'm so embarrassed that I can't remember my technicians name but he was absolutely a 10 out of 10. Knowledgeable , curtious and friendly. He did a great job in a very reasonable amount of time.
