Tropic Floors lives up to the hype! I had a great experience from estimate through installation. Everyone I had contact with throughout this process was courteous and professional. I highly recommend this top-notch company.

We have been using Tropic Floors for almost 2 years for some renovation projects. They have very good customer service and a great selection, especially if you are looking for something more exclusive but not too pricey. They are also very prompt and professional.

We just had laminate installed in our living room and dining room. Working with Mile was a pleasure. The installers were efficient and did a great job, answering any questions we had. When they left there was no mess— just a beautiful new floor!

Tropic Floors is a class act! The salesman Mario helped us make well-informed decision on floor material at a great price. The installers went above and beyond to be courteous and professional. The workmanship was second to none...

Work was completed 6/16/22. However, there is a lot of sloppy work with the 1/4 rounds. I will be stopping in the store on Tues. 6/22/22 to speak with Mario and lodge my complaints.

This is the second time I’ve used this business. The first time was good. So I decided to do my bedroom. The two guys moved the bedroom furniture and installed the floor within two hours. They left four hand prints on the wall. One of them said to me we did that and I said my hand isn’t that big. After they put the furniture back I noticed scratches in my living room floor. I called and they never return the phone calls. I recommended them to a good friend and they never got back with him either. So now I have two long scratches that are visible. Think twice !!

We couldn't be happier with Tropic Floors. Mike was great to work with throughout the whole re-flooring process, and when we had a minor issue with some carpet over a year later, he sent a tech out immediately to address the problem at no charge to us. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

So our office used Tropic Floors to replace some flooring. They were given a week while we were out of town to do the job and they said that they could get it done in 2 days. We came back on a Sunday to set the office back up for patient care and they were in the office still working until 2 AM. I asked what happened that they were not done yet and he claimed that he was the only one working on the project. As I was looking around to start putting things back in place, I noticed that the counter top and drawers in the cabinet in the hallway were bulging and ruined from water damage. I asked the worker what had happened and he proceeded to tell me that he went to fill a bucket of water, walked away from it while it was filling and forgot about it. It flooded the sink, counter top, drawers and cupboard doors of the cabinet as well as the floor area. He said that he would tell his boss so I let it go but I did take pictures as I knew it was not as we left it when we hired them to do the floors. I wanted to make sure that the landlord knew it was nothing we had done.
The flooring guys came back the next day to finish what was not done which was the bathrooms in reseating the toilets. I asked what they were going to do to fix the sink/cabinet area and he said that the worker gave him another story as to what happened and that was that some lady was mopping the floor. That lady was me and I most certainly wasn't mopping any floors. I was furious that they felt they had to lie and throw somebody else under the bus for something that they did, and happy I took pictures. We forwarded the pictures to the landlord as he was splitting the flooring cost with us and I felt he should know what happened. He too got a different story from the owner of the flooring company and was upset as to what was the truth. I would NOT recommend this company based on the fact that we all know things can happen, however, lying to avoid possible repercussions in business does not bode well for repeat business. Be careful when getting quotes from this company and from doing business with them. In the end they replaced the cabinet and counter top but it is the honesty and integrity of a company that matters.

My wife and I just relocted to Cape Coral, and we decided to remoded our kichen. We had Tropic Floors tile a backsplash for us. Tropic Floors did more then exceptional work. Everything was done on time, and with great quality. The installation crew were very professional and address any concerns we had before they finished.

The highest of complements and recommendations to Tropic Floors for such an excellent job tiling our condo. We worked with Mike in the showroom. He's down to earth, professional, and trustworthy. He had great suggestions on choice of tile and pattern. We were most concerned that the workmen would stick with our job start to finish with no side jobs or interruptions. And Mike came through. Start to finish - around 700 sq ft of living, dining, laundry, and two bathrooms in seven days. Remove carpet, padding, old crusty tile, linoleum. Done, done, done; no complaints or issues. Next they installed sound proofing (condo req'd) followed by the tile. Outstanding! But that's only the start. Jonathan was the installation lead. A total pro. Listened to all our concerns. Went over the whole installation process. He introduced us to the workmen: Alberto and his helper. These guys are THE BEST! Clearly they are tile men with great skill and experience. They packed in full day's work each day. Always on time. Great attitude. Hard workers who care about doing a great job. They moved our appliances to tile underneath and replaced them perfectly. No issues. We whole heartedly recommend Mike, Jonathan, and Alberto. Thank you for such a great job, gentlemen!

It was a nightmare. Mario lied from the beginning he is not the owner like he tells people. My story with them is so long and crazy. Mario complain to my husband about his sloppy workers that didn’t read the work order than the sloppy workers would complain about Mario. It was crazy! The workers didn’t know how to prepare the throne to Lana. We had to cut ties with them . Than come to find out they didn’t give us all the molding. When I asked Mike about it he said well how do I know they didn’t . Like I’m trying to get extra molding 🤦‍♀️ .
Well we thank god we did find a professional floor guy ! Thank you Leandro you truly are a great professional floor guy who truly cares about his customers. If anyone wants his number hit me up.
Than I can tell you the full story and tell you about all the damage they did and the table they scratch. And not Mario or Mike would come out to see what we were talking about .
This company was really well respected back in the day but the owner got older and sick and sold out . So just really be careful. We went through Hell for over 2 months with these people. I understand manufacturing issues but come in . Oh and they still have the same product on their floors to sell to you.

My project cost over $11,000, I paid 1/2 upfront with the agreement the other 1/2 would be paid when the job was finished (my paperwork says upon total completion). On the 2nd to last day of completing the job, the owner, Mike, told the subcontractors to collect the other 1/2 or leave without finishing. I took the whole week off of work and they promised to be finished by Friday. Friday morning, no one showed and when I finally got someone at the office to call me back, they said they are finishing a “bigger job” and would finish my project the following week. No one discussed this upfront so I wasted time off of work. Their subcontractor took a nap on my lanai one day and had his feet up on my dining room table which they moved to the lanai while working in the kitchen. I have photos which were sent to Mario. They also removed both of my bathroom doors and left us with no privacy in the bathrooms for more than 24 hours. Another day, one of their subcontractors used my bathroom with the door open while I was in the next room. So disgusting! They laid my flooring unevenly and damaged some tiles and when I asked them to come back and replace the damaged tile, they chipped the surrounding tiles when replacing and left it that way. They were also paid to replace trim work which is uneven, some caulked, some not. Shoddy corner work! They cracked 2 tiles on my shower while laying flooring in the bathroom and made me go buy replacement tiles? They took every last leftover tile which I paid for. If I posted photos, they would be completely embarrassed! There are far too many good companies to do business with, don’t make the same mistake that I did with choosing Tropic Flooring! Mario will tell you anything to get the job and Mike is a bully who strong arms female customers!

Mike at Tropic Floors was excellent steering us accurately through the hundreds of types and styles, and floor types. The installers were thoroughly courteous and professional.

Mike did a great job working with us throughout our project! We needed to completely redo our lanai and pool deck. He and his team worked closely with us to get us the look and design we wanted. We would definitely use Tropic Floors again!

I moved to Cape Coral October 2018. After 2 years I wanted to replace the 10 year old original carpeting. I got quotes from 5 companies, Mike Blane came out for the measurement, Mario in the showroom helping
me select from a wide array of product. Tropic was very competitive on pricing for material and installation. Most of all I felt Mike not only had my best interests at heart, he made me feel very comfortable with the process especially in this COVID-19 world. Tropic floors installed LVP(Luxury Vinyl Planking) in 5 rooms taking up carpeting and padding AND disposing it. The installers went beyond what I expected as far as helping to move furniture and cleaning up besides doing an excellent job.They did a wonderful job and it was done in a timely manner. 5 rooms 1000 square feet finished in less than two full days.
I would highly recommend Tropic Floors to anyone.

Great experience - beats the big name flooring stores by a mile!
While shopping at one of the 'family' stores advertising on television, we found that their service, prices, and customer service were well below par. We decided to try this smaller store located in Cape Coral on Pine Island. Salesperson Mario greeted us, showed us some sample floors, and came to our home 2 days later to measure and give us an estimate. The price was so much better than the larger stores and we agreed right away and scheduled installation for the following Monday. The man installing the flooring, Goncalves, was professional and did a fantastic job with the installation. He replaced older baseboards and did not leave until my wife and I were thoroughly satisfied. I highly recommend this store for your flooring needs!

We recently had Tropic Floors install vinyl plank flooring in our master bed room. Both Mike & Mario are very professional & knowledgeable . Price was fair , installation started on time, their crew was neat & clean & moved all the furniture as agreed upon.
A little problem occurred just before the installation began but one phone call to Mario solved the problem. will not hesitate to use them again. Thanks Mike & Mario !

I can’t say enough about how pleased we were to have found Tropic Floors! It was a complete pleasure to work with Mario who patiently assisted me in choosing tiles and setting up installation. The installers were professional and had a great work ethic. They have become our go to place for any future needs and we have shared their business card with all our Pine Island friends!!

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Tropic Floors! Mike in the show room was extremely informative in helping me decide which laminate would fit my needs best, as I replaced my entire house flooring. He also was very patient as I went through so many patterns and color choices and even loaded them into my car so I could take them home to decide. The installers were amazing, skilled and very professional from start to finish. James and his partner worked diligently, strategic, and precise paying close attention to every detail!
