We highly recommend Tropic Floors! A year ago, we started building a home in Cape Coral. Once the contract was signed, we started looking for tile. Tile for the entire house was a major investment and something we knew we never wanted to have to change or replace. We went to the usual places: big box stores, tile warehouse outlets and smaller local businesses. The best decision we made was deciding to go with Tropic Floors for all our indoor tile and outdoor lanai porcelain pavers.

The customer service at Tropic Floors is outstanding. We worked with Mario at Tropic Floors. Knowing this was new construction; he asked to review the floor plans. Once the house was framed, he visited the jobsite and measured all the rooms. With this specific information and his vast knowledge of the tile industry, he worked with us to select tile for the entire house. He knew how different tile would look in the house, he advised on size and shape of tile, layout, different installation techniques, tile finish and grout selections. Covid hit while we were working with Mario. He was extremely responsive to what was going on and was always in touch with his sales reps and vendors to be aware of any changes or delays in getting the materials. There were absolutely no problems with working with Tropic Floors!

Tropic Floors has an amazing tile selection. Since both Mario and Mike have extensive knowledge of the industry and the manufacturing process, they know quality tile. Their tile selections are both current and classic. We also were very conscious of our budget. Mario worked with us to stay within our budget and select high quality tile. We couldn’t be happier with our tile selections and working with Mario at Tropic Floors.

Tropic Floors recently installed vinyl plank flooring in the majority of my house and I couldn’t be more pleased. Mike, the owner, came to my home and was happy to spend all of the time needed to guide us through the selection process to ensure that the flooring that we selected was the best fit for our needs. There was no high pressure and I got the feeling that Mike’s guidance was directed at helping us select the product that would work best for us rather than what he wanted to sell that day.

The installers arrived on time, and I found them to be friendly, but very knowledgeable and professional. They worked quickly, but with attention to detail and did a wonderful job.

7 yrs ago someone recommended Mario and Tropic floors for a nearly whole house tile job. It turned out to be a terrific experience for us and we absolutely loved the end result. Fast forward to 2023, we decided that we couldn't stand the only room we didn't do before (the kitchen), and went to see Mario again. He was able to get the tile and schedule installation the following week. After agreeing to the installation, we stopped at another tile store on the way home out of curiosity. They had a lot of tile, but nothing that was interesting to us, and they were scheduling 3 1/2 months out. We left thinking about how lucky we were to get that recommendation years ago. Yesterday they completed the job, moved the appliances back, and it looks like it was all part of the grand plan when we did the first job. Well done Tropic Floors. We would recommend you to anyone looking for a good selection, an honest quote, quick installation, and a great finished look you will be proud of for years.

Mario came to measure our kitchen floor and to give us an estimate. He was very thorough,answered our questions and gave us an excellent price. Mauricio came to our house to do the install and showed up earlier than expected ( which almost NEVER happens ). He was very neat. He moved our appliances out of the way and moved them back carefully. He was very precise with his measurements. He stayed on-task until the work was completed,whereupon he cleaned up after himself. I am very happy with my new floor,and I’ll recommend Tropic Floors to my friends. Thank You!

Having carpet in our rooms and suffering from allergies, we decided to upgrade to tile. At the recommendation of a family member, we decided to stop by the store. Once there, Mike greeted us very kindly and helped us choose the best option for us. He was always attentive to us throughout the entire process. Mario was an excellent owner/salesman because he gave us very helpful information on different carpets and pads. Lee and Lyle did a wonderful job installing the new carpeting by removing the old carpets and rolling them up to be disposed (saving a lot of work for us) and moving furniture w/o any problems. They were all quite cordial as well. I would recommend this business to others needing any kind of flooring

My choice to have Tropic Floors install my flooring in 3 bedrooms was one of the best decisions ever made in this past year of major hurricane repairs to my home. I knew my floors had a moisture problem, and enough to know that when I purchased this home 11 years ago, the flooring that had previously been installed before my purchase was definitely improperly installed and any prep on concrete failed in every way. Never did I know just how bad the moisture would be. As far off the scale as could be. So my start date of Nov. 13 was pushed. The guys moved my bed out of my room the first day as the air was so bad I couldn't sleep there, and put my mattress in the living room. Prepped floors with bleach, aired out daily, moisture tests failed time after time. Week after week after week. I thought I'd never get out of my living room. Finally rented an industrial de-humidifier. Christmas was inching closer and closer. Couldn't get near my Christmas tree and decos in the garage because everything from the 3 rooms was in the way. I was trying not to panic and think I was going to live in chaos forever. Eight long days later, the moisture reading numbers finally dropped. I think the guys were as happy as I was! Two days later, they came and sealed all three floors. The next day they came and sealed all a second time. Two days later, exactly one month later, all three rooms were completed. Not only are my floors so gorgeous, so perfectly done, I know they were done properly, sealed properly, and will last longer than I. The crew, Gonzalvo, Nestor, and Mauricio, were the best. Ever. Their work ethic is amazing, their caring was amazing, their workmanship was impeccable. Every single detail was attended to. They just couldn't do enough for me. I cannot stop smiling. I cannot stop going from room to room! I don't even care how long it is taking me to get everything back in. I got through Christmas. Shopping, packing and sending gifts up north, all on time. I got my tree up in time, even got my house lights up a couple of days before Christmas. In between everything and feeling like a thousand pounds were taken off my shoulders, and knowing my house is healthier, and knowing this job was a mess from the start, I can't thank Tropic Floors and Mario and Mike enough. Word of mouth goes far in this sweet place. And I am soooo happy to be off my living room floor. Thank you all. Happy New Year.

We recently had our whole home floored with LVP. Mike and his crew are the best. The crew was courteous, accommodating, and professional. They were easy to have in our home during the process.
