Wow ! what a great company with an amazing and prompt service. We had initially contracted with a different vendor who disappeared after swindling our 50% deposit along with many other unfortunate customers. Shutters239 stepped up to help us and I'm very happy to say that after nearly 2 years of waiting we finally have motorized fabric roll down shutter installed. Joe, the owner, took great care of us and his wife Jo Dee and their whole team are just so pleasant to deal with. Always someone to answer the phone when you call, you can immediately feel the 5-star service. We strongly recommend Shutters239 for all your hurricane needs. Thank you for all your help in rectifying this unpleasant situation for us.

Very difficult communication after being referred to the company owner “Joe”. Not rating 1 star as no work has been done to rate and I’m sure the rest of the employees are fine, but is no more deserving than 2 stars. Considering the owner is the representation of a small business, Joe’s communication, both in sparseness and rudeness will have me/my referrals call other contractors in the Cape Coral area for shutter work before calling Shutters239.

I’d like to start this review by saying we are not from the area, therefore, are very cautious when hiring unknown contractors. After getting prices we hired Shutters 239 to install 3 mesh shutters on the lanai. The salesperson/owner seemed to be congenial and fair. They required a down payment to order the special made shutters which is understandable but still a bit unnerving. We put it on a credit card which would have given some recourse in case the company did not show up to complete the job. The installers showed up as promised and were very friendly and professional. At the end of the day the project was almost complete with the exception of the city inspection and trim covers that still needed installed. The installers asked for the balance due which we were willing to pay minus a retainer until the job was complete. When the installer called the owner to see what they should do, the owner got irate and rude and said he wouldn’t accept anything but full payment. If we didn’t pay in full they would uninstall the shutters. Wow!! Five minutes later the owner called back and said to hold $500 until the job was entirely complete. Two work days later everything was done and the $500 was paid.
Too bad the project had to end that way. Up until that point we had a positive feel for the company. There is another review with the same experience so it wasn’t just a “bad day” reaction. We are the owner of a service company in PA and would never ask for payment until the job is complete.

The owner’s response should tell you all you need to know about his business practices. Would definitely not recommend.

Had 4 Bahama shutters recently installed. Rylee was easy to work with. The install team did a great job. They noticed one of the shutters was not operating correctly. Instead of ignoring the problem and hoping I would not notice, they advised me and took it down and sent it back to the manufacturer for repair. Reinstalled it about a week later. Very satisfied with the whole project. Also they were about $1,000 less than the other company. (both companies use the same vendor). A great value in my opinion.

Excellent service from the time I called them for an estimate, to the last day of instalation. Excellent customer service on the phone and in person. Highly recommend.

I am very satisfy with these people, they did a great job, while the manufacture and installation took over two months, I know it is standard for this trade. The quality and service can't be better.

I have to say that all of their company's team crews were very courteous, from raylee coming to my house for an estimate, to applying for a permit to installation was almost two months. Their crew came to my house on time, their installation skills were excellent and professional, and they explained what to do for maintenance at the completion of the installation, And finally helped clean the dust ，which was very thoughtful. I would recommend their company to anyone around me!!!!

Went to the showroom a week ago and setup an appointment to determine what would work in our situation for storm shutters. Team at showroom were knowledgeable and super friendly. Frank came to my location to survey the situation, measurements and what product to recommend. Frank was honest and explained without building modifications requiring board permission would be costly. I appreciated his honest explanation on what would have to be done to make it work. He was concerned if we would we be happy with the look. We are not moving forward with storm shutter on our 2nd floor Lani. However if it was doable I would go with 239 in a heartbeat. Nice to fined honest people that actually care about customers that are veteran owned. You are great people with solid product line!

Hurricane Shutter Repair - After calling numerous companies to come out and take a look at my roll down hurricane shutters, Shutters239 was the only company that could come out in a timely manner. Outstanding business to work with from the very beginning. The owner came out for the estimate and spent all the time necessary to explain everything they provide. Signing of the contract and deposit was done with ease. The installation crew was very professional and took time to answer all our questions. They did a great job of cleaning up any mess after each day. This company restored my faith in contractors after being taken advantage of by Harper's Hurricane Protection.

Wonderful company to work with every step of the way. I received a call from Jody within a half hour of completing an online request for information. The two other companies I contacted never got in touch with me.

The service rep, Frank, arrived at the scheduled time and promptly surveyed our windows and provided detailed estimates for two different shutter options as requested ( drop down vs Accordion).

Ordered the shutters in March, permits received and shutters installed in June. No fuss… no muss!

I needed protection that was cost effective, and easy enough for me to do by myself. Joe(owner) came out and agreed that accordions would be a great option. He showed samples, reviewed how they work, and explained why the quality of theirs was different than others. He has been in the business just about his whole life and was very knowledgeable,
and answered all my questions without pressure in feeling rushed.
He gave a quote and I placed a deposit that day. They came out in a timely fashion, his work crew was efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and very friendly when reviewing the how to's with me. These shutters are high quality, easy to use, and gives me peace of mind that I can feel secure just in case they are needed. I can't say enough about the whole team. They are excellent to work with, they care, and they pride themselves on exceptional customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I just wanted to share our experience with Shutter 239. We have had issues with our shutter for a few years now. About 2 years ago shutter 239 came and fixed the issue with our receiver box that controls the shutter. As a matter of fact? It was right after Ian. They came and did the job no problem. We once again had an issue with the receiver and they came, evaluated the situation, (I love Mike!!!) and told us we will need a new part AGAIN! The owner I believe his name is Joe, had them fix it at no charge. The level of customer service within this company by far surpasses any other . Thank you Shutter 239 for giving my 82 yr old mom, peace of mind !!! I would recommend you to anyone !

Nothing but an excellent experience from the salesman to the installation. Their prices are competitive, they show up on time when they say they will and do quality work. The office staff keeps you informed on every step of the process with excellent communications. We had a combination of roll down and accordion shutters installed.

The installers, Sam and Hayden, arrived right at 0800, in uniform and got straight to work. They were willing to allow me to patch and paint were the old storm panel tracks were removed before they installed the new ones. Even the electrician who came out to wire the roll down was excellent.
