We had Airman Heating and Cooling Inc install our AC several yrs ago. We purchased the Champion system and they have been absolutely amazing with service when needed. Super responsive and never left us hanging, not once. I have recommended them to neighbors and they have thanked me for the referall. Airman Heating & Cooling Inc was referred to us when our old unit was giving us trouble and we knew it was about time for a new unit. Darrell came out and inspected everything and walked us through what a fix would cost and quoted us for a new unit. He took an educational approach to sales with no pressure and with a lot of transparency. We had several companies come out to give us quotes and ultimately made the no brainer decision to go with Airman Heating & Cooling. Paulette and Darrell receive an A+ for communication throughout the whole process of purchasing and installing the new unit. The day of install the team was timely, courteous, and clean. Their attention to detail is unmatched in the HVAC world. I cannot speak more highly about a locally owned and operated business- these guys just do it right the first time.

I read a lot of reviews before I choose.then I get a couple estimates.Airman was the best price and not only that I got a better product for less the work was great the guys were awesome very professional. I was a union carpenter for the past 35 years so I know what it’s like to work with your hands in the trades and these guys are awesome. Do yourself a favor call them

I have been using Airman Heating & Cooling for about 12 years and they are by far the best company in the Cape. They replaced my old system and installed a new one at a very good price about 5 years ago. I get an annual check-up every year, off season of course. Yesterday morning I woke up to warm air blowing out of the vents. I called Airman and someone came out 3 hours later, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. He came here this morning at 8:25 and after a couple of hours, my air is working and actually better than it was.
I really appreciate that they are so truthful and have never tried to rip me off or do work that is not necessary. It was my husband that found this company. He passed away 10 years ago, so they know I am a widow and have never tried to take advantage of the situation.
They are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and are extremely competent in what they do. They have been doing this for many years so they know how the older systems work as well as the new ones.

As a real estate agent and a property manager, I need contractors that I can trust to do an excellent job at a fair price for my clients. I have done business with Darrel Dawson at Airman Heating and Cooling for nearly a decade. Airman has done an excellent job and their prices are very fair. I have hired them for client's properties over 100 times and they have provided service and replaced systems at my personal home and for my extended family. As a property manager, I have had the opportunity to see both the good and bad of tradesman and I am not shy about telling them if I do not believe they did a satisfactory job. In my decade of experience with Airman, I have never had a dispute with them. Not one complaint. Darrel is one of the good ones who is honest and sincere and performs his job correctly. You can trust that he is telling the truth on the current condition of a system and that the solution he proposes is the best one to solve the problem. He arrives at appointments on time and you can count on him being clean, courteous, and treating you with respect when you meet him.

Airman Heating and Cooling company did an excellent job for us, they did a complete replacement of our system and I was very pleased with their work. I am a licensed contractor from NJ for over 40 years and remain very impressed. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

When we purchased our condo in Florida in 2019, Airman had already recently installed a new A/C unit. So we had to switch the warranty with the manufacturer over to us, and Airman was so very helpful as the middleman with that whole process. Then, when we needed a repair which was covered by warranty, Darrel was on top of it. Even though the part couldn't be shipped for several weeks, he made sure we had a replacement part to hold us over. Airman also does our scheduled maintenance, and they will NOT try to sell you things you don't really need! They're very attentive and they respond when they say they will. We can't say enough good things about them, especially in this day and age when most companies can't even bother to call you back. You will not regret hiring Airman for your A/C needs!

We have been using airman for years for repairs and they always come out same day or the next morning. They are always very friendly and the air works well again. Recently, when we were getting a new roof for hurricane Ian repairs, our gas line was punctured. We called airman and they worked with us to get the lines replaced and put in some blocks to prevent that from happening again. We also recently had them replace our ac system and they were punctual, timely and now the air flows in all the rooms much better than before. I highly recommend this company.

Airman's technician Darrell has installed and maintains our HVAC unit and has always been very responsive, on-time, and professional on each visit. Recently, a fan motor failed and was under warranty, however, due to the 2021 supply-chain crunch, replacement parts were not available. Darrell provided an alternative part to keep us comfortable until the factory replacement arrived. Paulette, the scheduler, is also a pleasure to deal with, very professional and helpful by providing up to the minute details on the technicians arrival times. Overall a great service provider.

What a pleasure it was to deal with this company. With so many HVAC contractors to choose from - it’s enough to make your head spin. What sets these guys apart is that they are not a sales company. Darrel (the owner) came out to do the estimate and was also the installer (along with his brother Jared) for a brand new unit - air handler/condenser. Usually (with other larger companies) the estimator/sales guy comes out and goes through everything with you and expectations are set. Then an installation crew comes out (that you have never seen or met before) and you hope for the best. With Airman you don’t have to worry about any of that!
Darrel’s craftsmanship, professionalism, openness, transparency, and attention to detail are second to none. He will not stop until you are 100% satisfied.
Darrel’s wife (Paulette) is also very kind and takes all the calls with such a positive attitude. Another plus - Paulette gave me an on-boarding call the day prior to the installation just letting me know when the guys were coming, what to expect, etc. Superb communication all around!

Excellent experience w/ Airman. First time needing service in a recently purchased home. Our neighbors recommended we call Darrel at Airman. We called after hours when our AC unit started blowing warm. They scheduled a tech for same day visit. Darrel was a pleasure to work with. He took the time to explain what our older unit needed for both today, and over time to ensure we get the most out of it.

I wish I could give 10 stars! This is a locally owed, honest and trustworthy business! We needed a new unit a few years back and they were amazing from quoting, to installation and every annual service call since then. Recently we were having a small issue and Darrel was able to tell me what was wrong with my unit the second he pulled up to the house. He had it fixed within 10 minutes. Darrel is the A/C whisperer… I cannot recommend this company enough!

Called Airman Heating and Cooling and the owner Darrell was out within an hour in the middle of July which was impressive. Darrell diagnosed the problem was knowledgeable, personable and very professional he had the problem fixed within 30 minutes. Darrell explained the process of the repair and I was charged an extremely fair price and was more than satisfied with the work. After our old HVAC system broke down in the middle of the summer, Darrel came out the same day to take a look. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a very reasonable quote to replace our condenser and air handler.

Darrel and his team came out to install the new system within a couple days and had it up and running after a few hours.

In the months following installation, everything has worked perfectly and we are enjoying the convenience and reliability of our new HVAC system.

Thank Airman Heating and cooling for there outstanding service. I task another company (1hr) and they try to scam me for 3000, on a 5t evaporator coil, stating that it was not under warranty even though it was installed 7 years ago. Darrel and his team took charge of the situation and started early the next morning and got my A/C unit squared away. Also they went beyond that and replaced a few parts not costly that enhanced my unit performance. Other companies just want to make money disregarding your needs. Call them, I guarantee their service.

I was in need of a new ac system. I had three companies out for quotes on the system replacement. When I compared just the numbers they weren’t the cheapest. I decided on Airman after doing a line by line comparison on what I was receiving.
Daryl came out explained everything that was going on. He took his time and actually got the old system running for a couple of days. They showed up on time, completed the work quickly and neatly. The communication was excellent. I highly recommend this company.

When my daughter kept telling me that the house was too hot, I turned around and said "I'm giving her all she's got captain." My daughter was not amused. I did hear the AC motor on the outside struggling quite a bit. After 15 years I figured that perhaps it was time to get it replaced. I set up two other estimates for the AC replacement from other great air condition companies in the local area. But when Airman showed up, he showed up on time, he showed up like a polite Boss, and explain to me from start to finish the setup that I originally had. He told me about the good, & the bad, about the AC that was installed. He showed me in the Attic how my AC was improperly made. He took measurements, did calculations, and he said for the size house that I have, It did not have enough air flow intake return back to the AC. Causing my AC to struggle from day one of its original construction. I did not know this, but I was glad I was being educated on the spot. Darrel showed up, install my new AC, advised to to get a 10 year warranty, which I did, and had my house cooling with the new equipment that hummed quietly & effortlessly. Darrel's team were polite and professional. I got to meet Steve and Joe and I enjoyed the teamwork that they were displaying. Paulette was the office manager and she ran all the communications by text, phone calls, and emails providing me with step-by-step instructions, and the steps that were going to take place to replace my new AC. Paulette brought the quality of Airman with Elegance and precision into the picture. Darrel inspected my new AC that came in from the wearhouse, and Darrel rejected it because it had a small dent. Paulette soon after rolled up in a white pickup truck with another new AC with no dents. Yes, I was blown away but not surprised when Paulette called out my name as if we were old friends. Wow... Talk about great service and world class customer service. Yes, I will recommend this team to any and all who will listen. LOL 🤣

Saved me $17, 174.21

My AC went out (in June) and I actually called a different company first. They came out did a diagnostic and told me the compressor went out and that I needed a new AHU and Condenser and that they could send someone to price it in an hour or so. Their sales person came, quoted me $17,174.21 (for a single 2 ton unit) and could have an install crew out tomorrow. I asked them to leave knowing they were trying to take advantage. I had 3 other companies come over all quoting me $8,000-$10,000.

A friend recommended Airman, the owner came right out, did his more thorough diagnostic and explained I had two wires that needed to be replaced going to the compressor. Took 10 minutes and my air is blowing ice cold!!!

Not only is Airman the most knowledgable
But they are the most thorough, and HONEST HVAC company in the Cape (and SWFL)!!!!!!!

I will NEVER trust another company when it comes to my HVAC!!!!!

Wonderful family owed and operated business. Very professional, do awesome work, have a 10 year parts & labor warranty, if you have questions they will get back to you immediately, show up on time, keep the job site clean, only service Cape Coral so they can get to you in a timely manner. I can't say enough about this company; all I can tell you is to hire them immediately because you won't be disappointed.
