Very responsive and fixed my unit quickly!

We chose this company to replace our package unit after hurricane Ian based on a recommendation from a family member. We were impressed and received a quick response and fair price. The work was done professionally. Today was a one-year checkup and they addressed a minor concern. I have recommended Real AC to friends and will continue to do so.

I had an overall frustrating experience with Real AC Services, which started out promising but quickly turned into a series of disappointments.

Six years ago, I purchased a new AC unit for my home, and everything was running smoothly until I decided to sign up for an annual maintenance plan with Real AC. The technician, Ceaser, seemed professional and thorough during the initial service, and I was satisfied with the work. However, after about six months, I noticed a leak in the AC pan, which I called them back to address. They repaired the leak and provided a quote to rebuild my entire AC unit, which I thought would be a good preventive measure.

But then things took a turn for the worse. A few weeks later, while preparing to replace some ceiling drywall in my daughter's room, we noticed a new section of the ceiling was coming down. Upon inspection, we discovered a large section of the garage had flooded. It turned out that the main drain line had detached, and water had been leaking onto the ceiling, causing significant damage. What began as a small, manageable repair had now turned into a far bigger issue.

It became clear that when they had fixed the AC pan, they hadn’t properly checked their work, which led to this new and much more expensive problem. I reached out to the owner to address the damage, and after a frustrating back-and-forth, he essentially blamed me for not following through on the AC rebuild sooner. Eventually, we agreed to split the cost of the drywall repair. I sent over my receipts as promised, though I did not factor in the cost of repainting the rooms or the personal items that had been damaged in the process. However, after that, the owner completely ghosted me and only provided a quote for new work, rather than honoring his word to resolve the issue.

What started as a simple maintenance job ended up being a major headache. The lack of follow-through, accountability, and basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. Most concerning, the damage occurred directly above my daughter's bed, putting her safety at risk. I would not recommend Real AC Services based on my experience. The frustration, lack of communication, and failure to take responsibility for their mistakes left me feeling completely let down.

Sanibel Rebuild on Ground Level Home was a cool ❄️ experience thanks to Real AC. The owner, Luis, is very hands on & knowledgeable on your best system ~ he has a great crew. Follow up on minor start up issues was very prompt - professional and fair company. We just added Gree for Garage so we can chill 😎 ~ great company all around!

I have used Gillman Heating and air in the past for many repairs. They are easy to communicate with, their service time is quick and staff is super friendly. Will and Kyle were at my house yesterday and installed an entire new unit. They’re very professional, respectful, and educated on what they were doing. I highly recommend. 5 stars!
