The heating function of my heat pump failed. The repair required replacement of a special valve and draining then replacement of all the “Freon” the repair could have taken up to five hours but it was finished in about three. Well done.

This service call was under a warranty, so the "price" questions really don't apply. Our issue was the result of a problem during installation (freon levels not adjusted and thermostat wires connected the wrong way), which isn't great... but I appreciate how Bayside sent someone right away, and how he took extra time to double check everything else, just in case there were other issues.

Bayside has done a great job over the years installing and maintaining my system. They always try to schedule Jason for my semi-annual system check ups. It's comforting to know my system is being maintained by someone who knows its history and my concerns.

I was solicited for a maintenance special on a 3-year old ac unit. when I have had no issues with my a/c. and 38 days later my a/c is no longer cooling. Tried to call and get them out to check it. and they want to charge a diagnostic fee on something that wasn't even broken to begin with. Don't fall for the soliciting calls because they will just mess up your unit and say it's a mechanical issue they probably caused to begin with. just to get more client to screw them over.

Ive had Don & Bayside servicing my HVAC for several years, including some horrible tenants that ran the AC w/o a filter. Bayside offers a 3 year maintenance program for $250 for 6 visits. Id recommend them to others

Question below regarding payment; I do not remember what we paid (we pre-paid for the service quite some time ago). Tech that came out was knowledgeable and answered our questions thoroughly. We are very satisfied with the service received.

Jason was excellent. He was thorough and detail oriented when servicing my air conditioning system. I requested that the company send Jason again at the next service call.

Very disappointed in my experience with this company. I signed up for a 3-year service contract for my 2-year-old HVAC system. Since then, I have had technicians who have made mistakes at least three times. The first two I was not charged for the call when the mistake was corrected. The latest was today, when I had them here to diagnose the non-working heat. The technician (the only one I trust of the 3 or 4 who have been here) told me that the wire was incorrectly connected at the thermostat; it was plugged into the terminal for a heat pump, and my system is a conventional compressor system. He was told by his service manager that he needed to charge me $75 for the 10 minutes it took him to fix the issue. He apologized and suggested I call the office and complain about the charge. I did so, and was told by Randa, the service manager, that because there was no notation in any of the service invoices indicating that a technician touched the wiring, they would not accept responsibility. The implication was that someone else must have done that. The heat was working properly last winter. I would never fool around with wiring related to the system, and I live alone. I have lost trust in this company, and would advise others to be very careful about entering into a service agreement with them.

I've used Bayside for over 6 years. They are dependable and good at all things A/C. Most recently, Jason performed a regular checkup on my system which Bayside installed a couple years ago. I am very happy with the level of service they provide, and my system runs like a champ.

We have been customers with Bayside a couple years now. We have their maintenance plan and have a great experience. Even when we had AC issues, they were out at reasonable response times and ensured the issue was resolved.
