We agreed on a plan to improve my yard and I paid just under 1/3rd of the verbally agreed upon cost on Jan 26, 2023, the day that his employees installed an irrigation zone whose itemized cost was less than that 1/3rd. No one ever returned and I heard nothing till I called his office number on 03/02. He told me an employee had left for the Philippines and he would be unable to complete the requested tasks. I have heard nothing since, almost 4 months and have not received a refund. The sprinkler head placement was not ideal (a planned redo) and none of the sprinkler heads were aimed correctly as well. Unfortunately I had to be gone most of the day at the doctor's office when much of the work was being done and everyone was gone at my return.

James Loper did an amazing job once again with his landscaping expertise. Three years ago he transformed the back as well as sides of our house. Last month he dramatically changed our front yard which was quite a challenge. James is very prompt and professional and was accommodating to our ideas. His landscape knowledge can turn a stressful project into a work of art. Bravo, James! You come highly recommended!

James and his crew transformed my yard into an oasis of beauty and did so in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. James is responsive, knowledgeable and professional. He provided a detailed plan, quickly, and executed as promised. Highly recommend James and his crew.

James is a really nice guy. I wish I did not have to write a bad review.

I had him lay sod for my new home and install an irrigation system. The sod was laid incredibly poorly. There are gaps between the sod, sometimes two inches or more. It is so bad that six months later little children still have problems walking across my lawn, and it is impossible to mow without scalping some of the sod. When I pointed this out to James his only response was that it is hard to find good help. He would do nothing to fix it.

When he installed the irrigation system there was a large portion of the yard that got no water. He did come back to add another sprinkler, but there is still a large area that does not get watered. He admitted to me that he should come back and add another sprinkler, and he said that he would. But repeated messages asking him to come install it have gone unanswered for more than a month.

I chose James because he is a local small business owner and I really like to support the local businesses. But I wish I had gone with another company. I cannot recommend him to anyone. His work is shoddy and he has refused to make things right. Very poor work, poor service and certainly not worth the money.

Had a great experience having James & his team makeover our yard. He is dependable & creative with his design. He did such a good job with the front yard, he continued with the side & back yard too. We wholeheartedly recommend James & his company!

We have used It’s a Beautiful Lawn for several years now and the service they provide is exceptional. The team has gone above and beyond for me in taking care of my lawn and flower beds. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional lawn maintenance company.

We asked them to come give us a quote for a patio. They came on time and were very friendly when they came to see what we wanted. Unfortunately, after that they did not get in touch with us for 2 months. We finally reached them, and they apologized and were friendly and told us they would have to order the pavers we wanted. Still no quote.

Several weeks later, they sent us a quote, and we asked them if we could give them a deposit. They said not yet, but that they would be in touch in a few weeks. Well, that was 3 months ago. Still no word from them. Another summer with no patio.

They were always friendly, but we had to hound them and when we got tired of doing that, they never contacted us again. I guess we will take our business elsewhere next spring 🥺

This husband and wife team should be avoided. They do not keep their committments and are loaded with execuses. After our first meeting with Tom we were promise a landscaping plan. The plan when presented was lacking parts of our property and missing the pricing. Tom said it was because of his computer being in the shop. After reviewing our plan with Tom he promised to follow up with pricing and the rest of the plan. That was 3 weeks ago. My wife and I spent several hours wtih this team and it was a total waste.

We've used It's a Beautiful Lawn for 15 years. We used to have a big place, now we have a small one. As such, Tom and Michele have done many projects for us through the years, large and small, as well as taking care of our yard week to week. They have always done quality work, on time, at reasonable prices. Always. Every time. It's nice to have a part of my life I don't have to worry about. They are simply the best lawn care company around.

We have used Them for several years after weeding through some poor lawn services and are always pleased with their service and results. I know Tom very well and he has always been timely, fair priced and professional. Everyone on his team is also very professional and courteous. I will stay with them forever.

Did not perform yard prep as contracted along with not installing irrigation system properly. A complete waste of time and money.
