Jonathan was very professional and thorough. He inspected my air conditioning unit, found and showed me the "numbers" that suggested pending problems, then cited the costs to repair versus replace. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and even called Mr. Cartaino for further information and direction. Then, without pressuring me, Johnathan ultimately recommended replacement and outlined the advantages.
I was provided the cost which included equipment, installation and taxes. Fortunately, I was able to schedule an appointment for Friday of this very week!
From beginning to end, Johnathan honorably and professionally represented Southern Heating and Cooling.
For years, I have been and I am confident that I will remain a satisfied customer.

Taran was great! He came and looked at the problem tried to repair my heating element but it ended up that the whole system needed replaced. He was very communicative and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him!

Had William out for a service and could not be more impressed. He was thorough in the work he did and in explaining the issue he found with my cooling system. It’s nice to find a company who seems to be of great integrity and not push extras on you. William showed me all the numbers of the readings he got and explained what normal ranges were. Will be using them soley moving forward for personal and business use.

Joseph did an amazing job cleaning air handler and condenser very professional gave detail step by step of everything he was doing never tried to upsell like other companies always do we're so thrilled to have found Big Air Heat and A/C on Facebook. William Cotton is AMAZING!!!!! I’m in the construction industry and this kid is smart, honest, pleasant to talk to, very respectful of you and your home. He kept me informed of everything he was doing and any issues he found with our 3 systems as he was cleaning and servicing them. You have one hell of an employee with William!

BY FAR the best of the best. Communication, pictures, etc. of all work being completed exceeded expectations. It’s so refreshing to work with a company that you don’t have to constantly hound or babysit to figure out what work is being done. Our tech was professional, well spoken, SO knowledgeable and truly cares about his work, not just making the next sale. I made contact and my AC maintenance was scheduled within the next week and the best part was I did it all through text! Perfect for busy working parents who don’t have much time to spend on phone calls. 1000/10 recommend. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Yesterday morning, my AC suddenly started blowing warm air. I spent hours searching online for solutions and even drove an hour to pick up a capacitor—but that didn’t fix the issue. A friend in the HVAC business told me my compressor was likely dead and recommended getting a whole new system.

While shopping around, I happened to call this company. They were the only one willing to send someone out the same day(it was already early in the afternoon) Joseph arrived just an hour and a half later—impressive, considering I was in Port Charlotte and they’re based in North Fort Myers.

After giving me a very reasonable quote on a new system, Joseph asked if he could take a look at my condenser. Within minutes of troubleshooting, he told me he didn’t think the condenser was bad at all. Instead, he found a burned-out electrical component, which he had in his truck and quickly replaced. He also noticed our refrigerant was low and recharged it.

Not only is our AC working again, but it’s running better than ever! Joseph even showed me real-time sensor readings, proving everything was functioning perfectly.

I’m astounded by their integrity and fair pricing—I paid a fraction of what I expected. If you need AC service, do yourself a favor and call them

Our office AC stopped working and Bug Air was there less than two hours after our call. They had to contact property management to get access which was a challenge but they stayed with it. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They also found something else that was not quite right with the system and wrote up a diagnosis for that for the property manager to consider.
Our AC is back working and we are very happy.

Very professional technician, Joseph, explained what he did really well and showed me videos and pics of the entire job. 5 stars for sure; will be calling back for any future maintenance or repair. God bless companies with young people like him who want to show, work, and get it done.

Very thorough very informative William did a fantastic job, I knew my system was on its way out just due to the age and small issues. I had Big Air replace my system, they were fantastic, fast and extremely fair without trying to take advantage of the situation. Joe S., Allen and Jean were all very helpful doing a great job to get me back online. So rare to find, A+++

Big Air was incredible from start to finish. Joseph came out the same day when my air conditioner broke, and his professionalism and knowledge were immediately clear. Not only did he quickly diagnose and fix the issue, but he also corrected a problem from the original installation done by another company—something I never would have known about. It’s rare to find a company that’s honest, responsive, and truly skilled, but Big Air delivered on all fronts. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy service.

Had a Nice tech Joseph Swafford from Big Air ,5-star service very professional had booties and explain very thing he did check my AC unit cleaned it got ready for the hot days, will use them again :)

Outstanding service. Joseph was very professional and explained everything that he was doing plus they send video of all the work. Will definitely be using them again. He also added an inspection door for future cleaning.

William Cotton was my service tech today for a system check up (with a bit of freon added) and maintenance cleaning . I've used other companies in the past for this type of service but none have been as thorough and detailed as Big Air Heat and A/C!!

William walked me through the steps he was going to take, gave me updates along the way and shared the different measurements he took while testing the system. After he was finished, he sent me all the pics and videos he took of my system during the process.

After 5 days of trying to get a simple repair done. Had 2 different companies come out both only wanting to replace whole system because it was 10 years old. The second one put the cart before the horse because the sales team beat the repairman. That told me all I needed to know. Found Big Air called them got a quote late Saturday evening. Joseph showed up around 7:30 pm with the blower motor by 8:30 pm he had A/C up running again. This young man knows his stuff. To top it off saved 500.00 by calling a honest company. Big Air is hands down the best. Thanks guys
