Our 15 year old AC unit stopped working. Tropic Aire came out right away, and tried to fix it, but after making every effort to save it, we agreed that it was time for a new system.
I was going to get two or three estimates but after meeting with Nick from Tropic Aire our search ended.
As a Christian, character is very important to me, and everyone I spoke to and met from Tropic Air was extremely nice and very professional.
They did great work, at a very good price, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Thanks to Jim, Nick , the installers and all who helped us with our AC need! We really appreciate it!

On July 3rd, 2025 I had Tropic Aire of North Florida replace my 13 year old air conditioning/heating unit with a new one. The crew of six men (including the two electricians) lead by Mike were very professional and well mannered. They arrived as indicated by 8:30 AM and removed and replaced the units including the concrete slabs by 1:30 PM. Due to all of their technicians such as these six men is why I continue to use Tropic Aire these past seven or eight years including yearly preventative service. From the owner, Jim, down to their technicians, you can expect to be treated well and as a valuable customer. They are quick and efficient. I highly recommend Tropic Aire of North Florida for any of your system's needs.

TropicAir is a fantastic customer service HVAC company . The technicians are knowledge and Kind. Pascal was our tech. He was pleasant to have in our home. Brandon came by our home and installed two chandelier lights over our kitchen island. New recessed lighting. And an outlet in our pantry. Their work is outstanding and they are extremely detail oriented.

We had our porch redone and they were contracted out to do our new electrical. Brandon and his partner were great! They were on time, nice, professional, and quick. Brandon explained how to work my new fans and synced everything together perfectly. He cleaned up everything so there was no mess, just our porch to enjoy. Very happy with the quality of their work!

Simply outstanding in every way. I have severe allergies. I discovered a major infestation of black mold in the A/C unit in my office (which had been making sicker and sicker for several weeks and I couldn't understand why). I spoke with Mallory mid afternoon this past Monday and Percival arrived before 9:00am Tuesday morning. Percival found that the black light in my unit had died. He installed a black light strip that does a much better job; thoroughly cleansing the air (the old black light left gaps). He took apart and thoroughly cleaned the unit; and had everything back up and running in a few hours. I am now feeling much better! And I am so grateful for their fast professional response! Thanks so much! These folks care about what they do; and it shows!

Tropic Aire is doing the a/c work for a home renovation project at our home, and in the process we learned they are also full-service electrical contractors. This past week they added a 100 amp sub box to our existing 200 amp residential service, and installed a Level 2 EV charger at the same time. We worked with Jimmie and Brandon Humphries, both were extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the work they did was top notch. Pricing was reasonable for the work undertaken, and I'd have no hesitation recommending them to anyone who needs either air conditioning or electrical work.

Have our AC unit replaced. Difficult job due to the location of attic air handler in a 1987 house. It was an all day job from 7:30 am to 6 pm. Staff from Tropic Aire did a great job. The unit is working well and everything was cleaned up nicely after.

I LOVE our new (2024) 6 ton Rheem HVAC! It is so quiet (inside the house) I literally never hear it, unfortunately we’ve had some problems with outside tapping noise which can be heard while sitting by the pool😬.
They are working to resolve it-stay tuned for updates!

UPDATE 7/15/25: Tapping noise is gone and I’m so grateful!
They have been very good to press on until the problem was resolved and I appreciate that.

Brandon Humphries was our electrical technician to fix some wiring in our house. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home! He and his assistant did quality work and were finished quickly. We'll definitely call them in the future for any additional electrical or HVAC needs!

I was referred to Tropic Aire by the good folks at Schnorr Home Improvements for the installation of a ceiling fan on my covered porch. They were extremely responsive and friendly. Kudos to Brandon for doing such a fantastic job with the install. He was efficient and neat and I would not hesitate to call them again. Highly, highly recommend!

Great experience with Tropic Aire. We had our lanai enclosed and added a GFCI outlet in the process. Mallory called us ahead of time to let us know of the crew's planned arrival. She was super friendly on the phone. Brandon & Caleb arrived right on time and were top notch professionals - very polite and great at what they do. Outlet was installed cleanly in 30 minutes - perfect job. They walked me through the reset function and answered all of my questions. 10/10 will be doing business with them again!

We are so pleased to have a new Goodman AC unit installed by Temples Heating & Air! Our elderly unit was almost 20 years old. Brandon came and checked 'her' out and after evaluation and cost discussion we agreed to a new system. Brandon kept us updated with the scheduled installation date.
