We were impressed by the job done by your technician Eric. He arrived early for the appointment. He did a good job of checking out the air conditioner. He was very professional and explained what he was doing. We are looking forward to having him service our unit in the future.

Angel was very nice and informative. He determined where there are leaks in my original ductwork and gave recommendations. He was unable to view potential mold issues within ductwork as this was beyond the scope of his abilities.

I’ve dealt with lots of different AC companies throughout the years and was very impressed with the service that we received. Thanks to Roy for being on time and thorough with his diagnostics. You can be sure that I will be recommending One Hour to our friends and neighbors.

    Thank you.

I had a great experience with Roy. He got my AC working again and told me about a few things I could do to keep it in good shape. He was so knowledgeable and didn't treat me like a dingbat because I didn't know these things. Very patient and answered all my questions. It was my first experience with One Hour because the other AC company couldn't come out as fast. Boy you really do mean One Hour. Thanks so much! I'll be using you guys for sure again!

28 September I wake up around 8am with the A/C blowing hot air. I call Strada and they said we can get someone out there between 12 and 4. The technician shows up early to my surprise around 11, within 30 minutes he has me back up and running. Outstanding services today, thank you Strada.

Adriel arrived on time and was extremely respectful (even took off his boots before entering my house, which I told him wasn’t necessary as I have several dogs but he insisted)
Extremely nice guy and would recommend him to absolutely anyone! I really enjoyed talking with him while he was serving my unit. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Terrible business practices! Did not honor service contract from the company they acquired (Florida Air) Sent an electrician with wrong part and info needed for a call. Do not recommend this company at all.

Adriel was a great technician…he knows his stuff! He was very professional, explained what was happening to the system. He has great skills & represents the company positively. I would love to have him every time I have a problem.

We had an excellent technician Adriel who came out on an emergency call to us,he was polite, professional and fixed our problem as well as explaining what to do to prevent what happened!
I live with my 86 yr old father so I was extremely grateful for him to come out after hours!
There should be more people like him who actually care and get the job done!

Adriel was great! We called earlier in the day due to our AC unit going out. Adriel had a lot of appointments that he had to take care of, but made sure to communicate with us and make sure we were updated. When he got here he was very friendly and located/fixed the problem very quickly and made the whole interaction very seamless.

Response was very quick and the unit is currently working. The problem occured with the tech present and he jumped the fan to get it started. It worked after that, however, no actual repair was done and I'm confident that the underlying cause is still present - capacitor going bad, perhaps.

Had to place three calls before someone started a ticket to send someone to my home. Once they came out, the diagnosis was wrong and system went down 4 days later. Would not recommend Strada to anyone. Very poor customer service!!!! Second tech came out and found the problem. He was so good. Too bad I had to go so long without air as they could not provide a technician over the weekend.

Strata HVAC team remained professional and courteous through a prolonged repair process.
Due to replacement parts being discontinued our system was out of service for several days and multiple Strata team members worked seamlessly to get the new Lennox upgrade part asap!
Ms Crystal R. Job performance turned the tide. Her extra efforts to get parts talk to technician management and retrieve warranty info from the Original defunct installer made the difference.
Todd the technician used his years of experience to review, remove and install the updated part.
    Thanks Team members at Strata,
Because the team makes the company

I hate to give this rating because the employees were all great and the work that was done appears fine. HOWEVER, when I originally got a quote, I asked for a main breaker to be installed in my inside panel (which would be in addition to the main breaker already in a panel outside near the JEA panel), an Interlock for the new main breaker, and a generator inlet port in my garage so I could power some things in my home during a storm. This mechanism mechanically will not allow the breaker to the generator port to be ON at the same time the main breaker (connecting house to JEA lines) for the house was ON. It protects the linemen working to restore power from being shocked and possibly killed if someone forgot to turn OFF the main breaker separating the house from the JEA lines while running a generator.

There seemed to be a little confusion in email exchanges after the quote and even the morning of the work. However I was perfectly clear on what I wanted. I had even joked during the quote visit that I could avoid getting any of the work done (and save all the money) by just running a cable into my laundry and back feeding the house via the dryer 220v plug after flipping my main breaker. But that I didn't want to do that and wanted to be perfectly safe so no one got hurt whether I was the one hooking up the generator or maybe a new owner or another member of my household was. The person quoting the work said they completely understood.

BUT, as the work was being done and I noticed they were wrapping things up, I realized they were NOT installing what we talked about. What they were doing is putting a small metal locking tab on the breaker for the generator port they installed so that if you had a small luggage lock or similar on there, it should stop someone from connecting the 'generator inlet' to the house wiring unless it was removed and the breaker flipped. When I said this was not what I wanted and that I had been perfectly clear this would be unsafe, I was told that when they went to the parts store that morning prior to installing at my house and were not able to purchase a new main breaker or interlock for my specific panel. (I already had a quote from another company with part numbers or descriptions required for my panel so apparently they are available somewhere. Also it's worth mentioning that my breaker panel cover has a knock out specifically for a main breaker so there is one available. Just not locally I am guessing.) I was also told that I would have had to get an entirely new panel installed to get the main breaker and main interlock. I wish they had called me prior to coming to start the install and given me the choice of how to proceed.

This 'solution' does not stop someone from having the generator connected, the breaker on to the generator inlet, and the main breaker on as well thereby risking the lives of anyone working on the power lines. The main interlock would have made it impossible to do this which is why I wanted it.

From what I have been told, this is against code. This would FAIL inspection prior to selling the home which we are looking to do soon. So now I guess I can advertise the house has a 220v outlet in the garage for an electric car charger or 220v air compressor after I change the box/plug they installed from an inlet to a normal outlet like a clothes dryer. But I CAN NOT say the house is prewired for a generator inlet and dont really feel comfortable using the port to feed the house unless I am 100% sure no one else will have to interact with the wiring.

So now I will have to look for another company to come in and find a way to do what I wanted and was told I was getting. All they had to do is tell me that the parts were not available locally and I would have just delayed the job until they could get them OR used another company who had already given me a quote with part numbers of the parts that would work. But instead I didn't find out about the parts issue until the work was about done.

**EDIT Owner NEVER REPLIED to my call he asked for below.

Terrible experience. Long story short, my home is a year and 2 months old. Had a tech come out on a Thursday diagnosed a broken blower motor, “express emergency” requested the part. It’s September in FL my home is now 85 degrees. Had to beg the customer service lady for them to do anything and finally she offered a portable AC unit. Monday comes around they say the part is lost we can’t find it. They find it around 4pm, come to fix the AC and say give it four hours or so and it’ll start to get cool. It’s 10pm at night now our home is still 85 degrees and we are paying for a hotel because they also took the portable AC unit. Then I call the 24/7 number and the lady tells me oh someone can come tomorrow 1-5. The worst customer experience where is the urgency???

Roiner J Plaza was the technician who came to my house to do a semi annual preventative maintenance check up on my HVAC system. Roiner was VERY thorough, VERY thorough. He was here about an hour and 30 minutes. He checked every little thing, every nook and cranny, every single solitary thing from top to bottom, inside and out, like I have never seen any other HVAC technician do in 20 years.

Although his English was extremely broken and he was kind of hard to understand at times when he spoke, I paid extra attention to make sure I understood what he was saying. All in all, he was a very good technician, and I am very grateful for him taking the time to inspect my system to make sure that it is in top shape and continues to work perfectly.

The only criticism that I have is that when he was outback with the big fan outside, he did release a lot of Freon, which I have never seen in 20 years when a technician was doing upkeep maintenance and inspections routine inspections on the fan outback so when he had released a lot of Freon, I kind of freaked out and asked him what in the world was he doing?

He said he would put the Freon back which like I said this was the first for me to see that much Freon being taken out by a technician and then having them put it back so that kind of made me not trust him in a sense that he knew what he was doing because I’ve never seen somebody so much Freon in just a normal routine maintenance check. I watched him extremely closely after that.

He did put the Freon back, which was fine, but whenever something like that happens, it causes great concern for me. I just don’t need any problems in the future because a technician may be accidentally released too much Freon when he shouldn’t have.

Additionally, I only expected him to be here in an hour so I would just say that if he can become a little bit more proficient in terms of moving things along, that would be great. I did not expect him to be here for almost an hour and a half, but those are the only two things that I would say he would need to improve on. He really is fantastic and a great asset to Strada. His personality is great and like I said, I have never seen an HVAC technician be this extremely thorough as he was. He’s a good guy.
