Based on my experiences, I had very little confidence in the local workforce, as workmanship in this part of Florida often falls short, and even well-known companies can be unreliable.

I was introduced to this company through a City of Jacksonville employee who personally recommended them. After meeting with eight different HVAC companies, they clearly stood out and ultimately earned my business. Their approach was not sales-driven; instead, they were genuinely focused on helping me make the best decision, which I value greatly. I never felt like just another dollar sign. While they were not the least expensive option, they were by far the most honest and offered superior workmanship and equipment.

From my very first meeting with Tom, I immediately noticed his warmth, sincerity, and professionalism. He was extremely kind and took the time to walk me through the entire process in a clear and reassuring manner. The installation team—Jacob, Patrick, Sean, and Mike—was phenomenal. They arrived at my home at 9:00 a.m. and worked diligently until after 6:00 p.m. throughout the entire day. They were courteous, professional, organized, and maintained a clean work environment, which I truly appreciated.

The quality of the installation was exceptional. My parents had their AC system replaced last year by one of the largest HVAC companies in Jacksonville, and the level of workmanship they received does not compare to what I experienced with Ideal. That is when I truly recognized the significant difference between this company and others in the area.

Another aspect I greatly appreciated is that Ideal properly pulled a mechanical permit through the City of Jacksonville and ensured that a city inspector came out to inspect the work. Many companies claim they pull permits but often do not, and many homeowners are unaware of this. It is admirable that Ideal Conditions operates with such honesty and integrity.

I called about a possible mold issue in my AC handler and Josh was able to come out for an initial inspection within 24 hours. He was extremely thorough—checking the AC handler, ductwork, and every vent. He took the time to explain everything clearly, why certain services were needed, and gave me a great deal. He also recommended and explained the benefit of installing an MX4, which I really appreciated.

I was able to schedule the work within a week on a day that worked best for me. Jacob and Patrick came out to handle the cleaning, sterilizing, and MX4 installation. They were so friendly, kind, and respectful—especially with my two toddlers running around. They worked quickly but were still very detailed and intentional, explaining each step as they went so I understood exactly what was being done and why.

Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will absolutely use this company again for any and all future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

I recently needed to relocate my AC and a mini split condenser. I googled, and had several companies coming over for a quote. Ideal Conditions, was one of them. What made me choose them, not only their price was way better than the others but it's how everyone was super nice and courteous, from the people who answered the phone to schedule me the initial appointment with Logan, who by the way was super efficient and professional and to the point, gave me a quote right there and explained to me exactly how it was going to be done. Then, right before my schedule appointment, my AC unit stopped working. I called the company that had installed my AC system and they came told me i needed new coils or something like that, quoted me an astronomical amount of money. Needless to say, I will never used them again. Ideal Conditions came, quoted me a much better price. Sean and Antoine were the best technicians, respectful, genuinely kind people. They worked tirelessly, always with a smile. They relocated my units and fixed the problem. My only regret is not using their services sooner. I can’t recommend Ideal Conditions highly enough. I have been an Ideal Conditions Heating & Air customer for several years. I previously used another company that became unresponsive to my HVAC needs before I found Ideal Conditions. Since making the switch, I have received great customer service. Scheduling has been easy, each Tech has been friendly and thorough. They have explained each option for repair or maintenance and given recommendations on what would fit my needs best. Tom, the owner, recently came out and was able to make sure my system was placed in the most efficient settings. This is a no pressure, no nonsense company that provides prompt response, good service, at a fair price. I’ll remain a customer of this local, veteran owned, business as long as I am in the area.

I had a two new Trane systems installed by another dealer last year and one of them had a split zoned setup. The other dealer made multiple trips to try correct issues with the split zone system and then finally abandoned the job leaving me with a system that just didn’t function properly. I called Ideal today and they came out the same day. My tech Mike Eagle was very knowledgeable and professional. I explained to him what the issue was and he found and corrected the problem in less than 30 minutes. I simply cannot say enough about how excellent the service was and at a great price. We had a great experience with Mike Eagle. Mike was able to repair a unit that we thought was broken and get it up and running for a great price and gave us a few options for a repair and a quote on a new unit as well with warranty information. He was very well knowledgeable understood our needs. Highly recommended!

We recently had Ideal Conditions replace an AC unit and repair some torn ductwork in our attic. My only regret is not using their services sooner.

Bryan was awesome! He came in and analyzed my A/C unit, diagnosed the problem and explained the situation to me. He also provide details on what needed to be fixed. Everything was completed in a very sufficient time.

Had someone come out recently to check an issue I was having with my condenser outside. Was told it was fine and doing everything it was supposed to do; that the sounds it was making was normal. The guy spent more time talking to me about personal politics which I am not interested in at all, then checking my system. Well the issue has continued and almost sounds worse. So I had a private contractor I know come out last night for him to tell me the fan motor was about to overheat and could catch fire! So he disconnected it and is bringing me a new motor. So lucky me having to spend even more money to have a different person come out, but at least I know my house won’t catch fire now.

Comfort Zone has great customer service and the technicians are always friendly and professional. I had them out several times last year before purchasing a new AC Unit and had a pleasant experience each time. I just had them out for scheduled maintenance and the tech even remembered my dogs name. I would recommend their services and plan to continue using them in the future.

Quick response and repairs after system failure due to sagging insulation.

Jeff is a consummate A/C heating and air technician. He diagnosed several issues my system had since the initial install by another HVAC company. I would recommend Comfort Zone and Jeff for A/C heating repair and maintenance.

Great experience with comfort zone. The called 20 minutes prior to arrival time and within the window they gave me. The technician Brad was great! He was very thorough and professional. He explained everything he was going to do prior to doing it and gave a complete report (with pictures) after he was finished with the maintenance. Highly recommended this company!

Wonderful service. We were assigned Comfort Zone of North Florida by our home warranty company and could not be happier. They were professional and great at communicating all updates with us. Once at our house, the service was honest, thorough and not rushed which we appreciated. We will absolutely use them again for any AC needs.

I have used Comfort Zone for years. They are honest, professional, and will go above and beyond, to ensure that you are set up right. During this visit, I had preventative maintenance performed. During the checkup, a failing capacitor was found. It was replaced under the warranty, which was great, because it would have likely failed during the summer when we needed it most. I will continue to use them and would recommend you do the same!

Update: I had an issue with the ac system on 05/22, and they came out promptly and fixed it. These guys are so easy to schedule with and are honest. They understand the stress of being without a.c. and make it their mission to ensure they get you back to being comfortable. Thank you Comfort Zone!

Highest heat index of the year and my house got very hot after my ac went out. I had to call another service after hours. Despite saying they would schedule me for the next day, nothing happened! They just dropped my ticket. When I called them, it was going to be a couple days before any service!

I was more than a little excited after that, but found Comfort Zone by web search. Nice staff on the phone, and they would come out that day(within a couple hours).

The techs let me know when they were on their way, and Chris showed up quickly. The service was professional and methodical.
Quick to diagnose what had been happening and able to fix it with in-stock parts.
Even better is they were MUCH more affordable than the firm I had called who blew it. High quality service for an affordable price. I would highly recommend Comfort Zone to anyone in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
