This is the best company I have ever dealt with. They went above and beyond what any contractor would do to help us. If you need work done definitely give them a call!

Called Healthiaire to get an estimate on replacing a few A/C’s at one of my properties. JR came out that same day and not only did he give me a quote that was more reasonable then the other quote’s, he also went above and beyond and looked at the ductwork and as well. Very happy with this company and highly recommend them.

I have worked with Healthiaire for the past three years. I initially called because I was having an AC issue on a weekend. They came promptly, their technician, J.R. was knowledgable, they resolved the issue, and their bill was fair. Since then, I have had them out a couple of times for small issues and routine maintenance calls and they have always been prompt, friendly, and fair. Their inspections are thorough, and I have always felt confident that they could repair the problem. Since then, I have referred them to a number of friends and neighbors who have been very impressed with the service and professionalism of Healthiaire. One said that three previous technicians were unable to solve his problem and recommended replacing the entire unit, while Healthiaire was able to repair it in one visit.

I am not paid by Healthiaire. I have nothing to gain by writing this review. I am a homeowner, a customer, a small business owner, and someone who cares about keeping small businesses alive. I can only recommend and give Healthiaire my highest accolades. Calling the other guys who will make you will wait, pay too much, and sell you parts and services that are unnecessary is silly when you can call Healthiaire with the confidence of knowing that their professional staff will take care of you promptly and fairly.

I am in a new home, but needed to have my AC serviced last year. Raymond Gonzalez recommended JR. It turned out my unit was harboring mold. JR cleaned the unit and installed a UV light to prevent further mold. I had had a chronic cough since moving in my home. In a week it was gone. This year he came back to service my AC again. Thank you JR. Your service is efficient and your work is outstanding. And your work restored my health. I recommend you to anyone who mentions AC needs! See you next year for my regular service.

We will never use anyone else! JR and Veronica have shown up for us time and time again, most recently at 10pm when our AC went out. They’re honest and their pricing is amazing. We’ll choose them every single time over one of the bigger franchise type HVAC companies. Truly can’t recommend them enough!

Howard Services responds very quickly any time we have called with an AC issue. However, because of the regular servicing that is done, we rarely have to call. We appreciate their great service and courteous customer service.

Apparently it’s common practice with this company to pump refrigerant into a system without doing any follow up inside the home. Before leaving he was sure to mention that a leak detection was needed and someone would contact me. There was no follow up call. When attempting to correct this over the phone originally I was blown off and no surprise that is the same method they took later. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. Their technicians are trained to service as many people as possible per day to simply generate cash flow. How can someone just simply call themselves a service company without doing any work, checkups, or service inside the home. Customer beware of this crooked company.

Amazing Customer Service. Our system went down and we were delighted at how quick Howard Services responded and got us back up and running.

Cant speak highly enough of this company. We just bought a new condo and the AC was pretty much shot. Stuart Caron went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed, great financing option (interest free). the whole thing took less than an hour via emails and it gets installed in 2 days time. Thats service! thank you.

This company clearly takes pride in its excellent work and customer service. When another company pressured me into thinking our furnace was broken, these guys gave me a third opinion and discovered the problem was a broken fuse. The technicians are qualified and a great pleasure to work with. I greatly endorse them to all my family and friends.

Awesome service! They came out and looked at what needed to be done and what unit I needed and they were back out the next day installing my air conditioner! I live about 1.5 hours from them and they did all of this! They gave me a great deal and were courteous! I will continue to use them for all of my air conditioning needs. I will also be referring them to everyone I know!

Sorry, I'm continuing my review. I used another company because I had a coupon from one of the coupon magazines and quickly learned it was just a bait and switch. Howard Services came out and not only quickly diagnosed the problem, but they were about $500 cheaper than the "coupon company".

Now to this year...I am in the process of selling my house and the people who are buying our house had a home inspection done and it said the A/C unit was not performing at optimal temperature. I called Howard Service and one of their techs, Scott, was out here in about two hours and I told him about the inspection and said let me guess... and told me exactly what my home inspection said. For a great price, Scott thoroughly went through my unit and ran several diagnostic tests and gave me a detailed work sheet and went over it twice (I can be kind of slow sometimes, Ha!) Now the future homeowner not only has reassurance that the A/C is working at its optimal performance, but they now have the contact name of the best AND MOST HONEST AND RELIABLE A/C company in Jacksonville, because they are moving here from Georgia.

Take tme to read this post... Use at your own risk! We called this company for a freezer repair for a local homeless shelter. To get to the point, they came three times for the same repair. $6000 later and the freezer is still not working so we had to call another company. Now the shelter is out $6000 plus whatever the new company is going to charge. Money well needed to provide services for our less fortunate. AGAIN USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

During regular maintenance, I told my technician, Matt, that the unit was making a fairly loud 'reving up' sound when it came on. He investigated it and found the motor was going out. He immediately checked to see if another one was available & asked if I wanted it replaced that day. Of course I did since summer is right around the corner. He installed & tested it and it works wonderful. This is the quietest my unit has been in over a year! By the way, I mentioned the same problem to my previous tech last year but he brushed it off as a temporary problem that would go away.
Matt was very thorough when doing the regular maintenance, checking pressure and cleaning the unit inside and out (never had another technician do that before).
I'm VERY pleased with his service and will continue to stay with Howard Svcs as long as I keep great service like Matt's!

Howard Services does it again!! Everyone from Brittany in the office to Adam the service tech are the best!! Adam was more than helpful explaining what he found and what it took to fix it. Clean, courteous, and efficient. Highly recommend them!!

We have been with Howard Services for 6 years. Adam W. Is our service technician.We love him. He is so knowledgeable and explains things very thoroughly. I highly recommend them and him!

Scott came out within 90 minutes and fixed my HVAC system on a super hot day (85+ indoors.) Thank you all so much. Will be a future customer, and I'll see what I can do about getting y'all I'm on my commercial jobs going forward. Incredible local company that knows their stuff.

The worst can deal with, I don't recommend them at all. Cheater and unprofessional

When they came to fix the cooler, It works fine but not cooling enough, he starts working on it for maybe 20 minutes, and at one point it stopped working, then I asked him if it not working he told me that I know where is the problem. I said what is the problem, He said he wants to go to his car to speak with his boss and he came back, So I asked him why it didn't work, and he replied I have no clue. He said that I have to call a different company to find out what the issues are, and now he wants to charge me $292. for 20 minutes not he didn't nothing, he also messes up the cooler and now it is not working at all. Plus when I called his boss hang up the phone in my face, Yes they are cheaters and unprofessional. Customers be aware of this company.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Howard Heating and Air. Adam W was very humble and professional. He listened to the issue and got to work diagnosing the issue right away (unlike some who waste time just to run the bill up). He not only figured out the issue promptly, but explained it very well to me. He also seemed budget conscious, which I greatly appreciate in a field where most aren’t! He found parts within our budget and got our AC up to par within the day, even fixing faulty work done by the original installer. It actually works better now than it ever has!

RIP OFF! The other reviews sound like the friends and family version and not real customers. We recently had Howard Services come out for to service an ac that was not working. They simply don't know what they are doing! After 2 hours they finally replaced the thermostat with a cheap honeywell. This fixed the problem but their charge was $478.54!
