These guys are very responsive and know what they are about when it comes to Gas hook up's. Used them twice for my Dryer and BBQ Grill. No complaints!! Keep up the great work.

The people at A-1 are great to work with. They handled my problem quickly and efficiently. I know that I can count on them any time I need them. l recommend them to solve any problem no matter how big or small it may be.

A-1 Plumbing installed the gas line to our fire pit by the pool. But they re-installed the gas lines to our generator and pool heater. They upgraded the install noting the problems with the initial contractor. The service technicians were knowledgeable, respectful and performed a great job.

A1 Plumbing did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I had an issue with my sink disposal and bathroom drainage and A1 was able to resolve both my issues within one day! Very efficient and reasonable rates. Friendly help over the phone and they were able to simplify a seemingly complicated project! Thank you for a great job and being so responsive! I'll be back.

We have called on A-1Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration several times and they have not failed. Most recently for a broken garbage disposal that had our sink backed. Up A-1 sent a tech out within an hour. He had to replace the old unit and did do in a timely manner. They have great customer service. We recommend them to everyone in our neighborhood when they need an efficient plumber ASAP!

I called to get an estimate for some work needed done (closet flange replacement, and some stem valves) the original call was pleasant and the delightful woman said we offer free estimates...as well as their website. We set up the appointment and everything was fine. The appointment time finally comes. The gentleman was very nice and professional and said “this is what I would recommend, and this is how much it will cost” he left that quote on the back of some torn cardboard paper and left. No problems right? Well about 5 minuets later the gentleman is back at my door, saying well I need to collect something for today’s visit, and confused I was wondering what he was taking about. He said it was for the service call and that the $75 would be applied to the visit following when they came out to do the work. So essentially, a $75 payment now and the rest of the payment when the work was completed. He basically took my credit card info and handed me a tablet to sign. After getting spun in circles for about another 5 minuets...he said something that somewhat kind of made sense and I ended up initialing the tablet to be done with it.
Fast forward 3 months. I never called to get the work done because of the past experience and A-1 is calling to collect $75 dollars. They claim it was for the service fee 3 months prior. Obviously shocked because of the whole “we offer free estimates” thing...I tell the lady...”look, I called for an estimate. Why are you asking for more money?” She said “we have it marked as a service, and we have a recording of how you requested it and you didn’t say estimate” okay, so requesting a quote is different that an estimate apparently. Since she claimed they had a recording of me saying this I simply asked to hear it myself since she was so adamant about the request not being made the correct way. She refused and just sent me an email of a screenshot of the initialed tablet page from 3 months prior. She said we have your initials on this paper saying you would pay us. Annoyed I just paid the money to be rid of the situation and the company.

So to recap, I paid $75 for a free estimate...the guy came recommended work that he said he couldn’t do that day even if he wanted to, got told to sign a tablet under questionable circumstances, and then got calls from them 3 months later for payment after receiving no correspondence prior at all. Sure, part of it was stupidity on my part...most was sketchy business practice. 0/10 would recommend. 2 stars for the original customer service when setting up the appointment.

A-1 Plumbing was prompt and courteous. Their work was neat and they completely cleaned up after the workman finished. Their price was fair. The workman also told me how to prevent a future clogged sewer line. Thank you!

I have called dozens of plumbing companies to look into an issue I am having and not one of them have been as kind, professional, or knowledgeable as A-1! DeJune, our technician, was very clear and detailed about the work performed and the issue causing the problem. He was the first person who has given me a clear answer so I am able to determine how I’d like to handle it. I will say that they are a bit more pricey than most other companies, but after the service I completely understand why and it was worth every penny!

Great company to do business with. Pipes coordinated, Katie scheduled us in quickly, Ike and Bill did a great job in providing prompt and professional service to us. Good quality service at a good price!

Representative was polite and appeared to know his stuff during the meet and greet. But took over a week to get a written quote and then when we did receive, it was in pieces with a few different emails. And they, didn’t remember details of our initial meeting that we had a $15k budget to remodel our kitchen and the guy said yes he could do it for that and would have a quote in 2 days. A week later presented a $40 thousand dollar quote. Not even close to our budget.
I would not recommend this company for anything.

I have used A-1 plumbing for several jobs. Their quick response, professional work, and customer service are the best I have experienced. They also never leave a mess when they leave for the day which is greatly appreciated. No better company in Jacksonville. Use them and you won’t be disappointed.

A- 1 came to our rescue when we had a gas leak in our condo building.. we have gas stoves, fireplaces & grill outlets. Only one other company would bid on the project (and their price was outrageous). Even well known local companies with whom we had done business would no longer service condos! A1 came in at a very reasonable price & did an "A1" outstanding job! It was a pleasure doing business with every member of their team.
Following that, several residents hired A1 to do bathroom remodels in their individual units; all very happy with work!

Our experience with A-1 has always been great - which is why we continue using them. The workers at the house are always helpful and get the job done. They also always clean up any mess related to the work they did. I highly recommend A-1.

Had them out in February to look at gas fireplace that wouldn’t work. They charged $100 for visit/diagnostic which was reasonable. I was told they didn’t really know what was wrong with it but would recommend replacing it. Quoted $2,580 for replacement. Just had someone out today (Dan from Gas Appliance Specialists) who fixed it in about an hour and charged $175. These people have no expertise in gas fireplaces and should not be working on them.

A1 plumbing did not fix our plumbing issue and charged an exorbitant amount. My 81 year old sister had been in the hospital and I was staying with her to help with her recovery. The kitchen sink back up and we called A1. The serviceman came out and said he had repaired it , he also said he had to reroute the line and charged over $600. I called him back around 300PM and said the sink was continuing to back up. He came out and once again said he cleared the line. When I cooked dinner later that day the sink once again backed up , I immediately called and got the after hours voice mail. I never received a return call even though I also called on Saturday and Sunday. Their website says 24 hour service and satisfaction guaranteed. …..neither of those statements are true. we subsequently had to pay another plumber $175 to come and finally clear the line. A1 overcharged and took advantage of elder clients and did not get the repairs made. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this plumbing company.

We had a plumbing issue at our office and A-1 was incredibly quick and responsive. They helped us finally locate our septic tank when 4-5 other companies could not. Everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend contacting them for all your plumbing needs!

Good service otherwise I would have left one star. They charged me $439 for a 90 minute visit that did not resolve my gas fireplace problems. I asked them to break down the charges - $139 was the dispatch fee. Their reply, quoted "The initial labor knowledge is $300 however when we provide a solution that gets rolled into the total investment." whatever that means. Way too much charged.

Great service from the team at A-1. They did an excellent job on an extensive 2 bathroom remodel in my elderly mother's home. The house was built in the 1940's so there were some challenges but the team went above and beyond to complete the job. They are absolute professionals and address any concerns in a timely manner. We have also used their services for other plumbing and air conditioning needs and received the same outstanding results. A great company that values their customers!
