Rob walked me through the issue and the solution and the price was incredibly reasonable. Their maintenance program is phenomenal and very reasonably priced as well.

Professor Cool saved us from the summer heat wave! If your a “big fan” of reliable, honest, hard workers then look no further and call them now. Anthony did a great job of providing regular maintenance and teaching me how to keep my unit in good shape. Then when our unit broke in mid-July, Danny was out here within hours to diagnose the issue. We then opted to have Professor Cool replace our aging unit. For due diligence I checked with 2 other local HVAC companies who quoted over $3,000 higher for a new system. The original quote included all permits and was never raised even though I know he had to do some additional work. So thankful to have a great HVAC company like this in the area.

Call them now and schedule your tune-up before the heat hits! I had an issue recently and was able to get same-day service to perform a tune-up and replace a burned-out capacitor. Alex, the technician, was fantastic—he thoroughly explained the work being done and showed me the issues with my unit. He also offered great advice on how to maintain it moving forward. Excellent service, and I'm glad I got it fixed before the peak of the hot season!

Alex H was great! Professional and efficient, he answered all of my questions and completed the maintenance quickly. So happy I decided to go with Professor Cool!

1st time using Professor Cool and I would recommend them for a/c repair. My compressor stopped working and Alex H did a great job of quickly finding and fixing the issue. It took less than an 1-hour to complete the work and the price was very reasonable.

The diagnostic tests were very thorough and our tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything every step of the way.

Called them after 5:00 p.m. yesterday because my AC blower died. Danny was able to come out at noon the next day. Replaced it ($1050 for new blower motor) within an hour and checked the rest of the system... my house is now nice and cool. Highly recommend!

Rob was able to get me an appt. in the same day. Alex H arrived in the timeframe and was very professional and knowledgeable. He figured out quickly an issue with the floater and worked hard to unclog the drain line, which will hopefully stop the leak in our ceiling. He took the time to explain everything to me. If there is still an issue, he told me to call and they come back free of charge within the first 30 days to resolve it. I felt the price was reasonable as well. This was my first time using Professor Cool and I will definitely be using them again.

Follow-up post: I had to have Alex out again as I realized the problem with my a/c was actually more than both of us thought. We had huge issues with a/c drainage (thanks to a bad install from a different company that I won’t name) and Alex discovered that the a/c has been leaking into our return! He spent a long time cleaning everything up and making sure everything was working and running as it should. I was very impressed by his thoroughness, hard work, professionalism, and humble attitude. I can’t recommend him or Professor Cool enough. They are a small company that is very honest and stands behind their work. They do everything they can to correct the issues.

I was referred to them by a trusted friend and I have no complaints. They were professional and got the job done quickly. He spent time explaining the breakdown of my options and costs and gave me time to think it over, even recommended I shop around for other quotes. It didn't feel like a sales pitch which I appreciated. According to my research their price for repairing an evaporator coil was fair. I paid in full but they offer financing if you need it.
