I called McGill plumbing to fix a plumbing issue I was having. They scheduled someone to come to my house within 30 minutes. Chris from McGill addressed the problem and fixed it for me. He was very professional and kind.. I will continue to use McGill if I have anymore problems in the future.

I have used McGill Plumbing for over 10 years for all of my plumbing needs. I will not use any other company. McGill is number 1. Recently I had a problem with weird stuff in my toilet bowl ( I now know after talking to plumber it is called resin from my old broken water softener.) I had never experienced anything like this before. I am just glad I got it early and that McGill was able to come the same day I called. Tom Murphy came out and he explained what was needed to resolve the issue and how much it would cost. He was both eager and patient to answer all of my questions and he explained everything he was doing. I could not have asked for a better person to help me out during a time that was unfamiliar to me. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. When (not if) you decide to use McGill, ask for Capt. Tom, he won't disappoint.

$339 to remove a leaking water heater that they installed which barely made it to 6 years old. On top of that they took the pan that sits underneath it. Plumbers are an absolute ripp off these days!
Recieved follow up call and was told that $165 is their hourly rate, and I am being unreasonable. The unreasonable part is that it was only a 40 gallon tank with 2 hose connections and 3 wires. It shouldn't have took much more than 30 minutes vice the 2 hours.

It took them 2 hours and they didn't safely drain it as it was still filled with water. The tank dripped water all throughout the house. Does that sound safe or professional to you? Since it wasn't drained what exactly was being done for 2 hours? I should have done this myself but was working during the time and was quoted the 165 yes but thinking it would only be an hour, not 2. So yes I was comfortable at $165 to make it go away since I know that they need to make money to keep all their permits and licensing up to date.

I called McGill for a quote to install a water filtration system and spoke to Jonathan who was extremely unhelpful. He said they would not send a technician to quote and that it would cost “time & material.” No estimate or additional information. I reached out to a handful of other plumbers in the area and they were much more helpful. I do not recommend trying to work with this company.

Had my water heater warm its last water on Christmas day. (It was probably installed around 2005... It lived a good life.) Called McGill the next morning and received an accurate and fair quote for a new heater and install. Ben was on site by 10:30A, evaluated the site and confirmed the quote, then brought in and installed the new heater. Half a day after my initial call, we had hot water again.

I expect the State Proline heater McGill installed to be very good quality too. They have all the same parts as an AO Smith 12-year warranty system, but without the extra tech to break. (Stainless steel heating elements and a brass drain, for examples.) Very happy with my decision.

The guys that came out explained what my issue was and were very professional. My only complaint is that when I scheduled the appointment no one told me about a service fee for them to come out and give me an estimate. That was an unwelcome surprise.

McGill Plumbing and Water Treatment is a business with 3 generations of satisfied customers. Cody and Johnny were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend for any plumbing issues you may have.

Just had Tom M. come to move plumbing for our new vanity, he did a great job and was finished much faster than I expected!

I had them come out to replace my water heater Tom and Josh were great! They answered my questions and hauled away the old heater.

Couldn’t be happier. Tom and Josh showed up on time. Great attitudes. Installed all 5 sinks in less than half a day. Fun to talk to. I bought a faucet that was going to leak. Tom warned me before installing and I was able to get refund from where I bought it and Tom replaced with one that’s even better. They used parts that came with faucets so I didn’t use extra fittings purchased and can now take them back and save money. They fixed water filter even better than came in package. They repaired leak going to water filter. As if that wasn’t enough, Tom saw a broken cabinet door and was able to repair that as well which will save me 2 hours plus parts. Before providing the bill, they both carefully cleaned all areas service. Outstanding job. Great value!! Thank you Tom and Josh.

This review is very late, but I did want to recognize Kyle for his excellent customer service. He went the extra mile to diagnose our plumbing problem and fixed it quickly. He explained everything in layman's terms and offered great advice for avoiding future problems. He told us to call him over the weekend -- he was on call -- if we had any further trouble. We plan to call McGill for all our future plumbing needs.

Not familiar with wall mounted faucet, i came to here to get a little help. Buddy at the desk had his arms crossed the entire time and told me to "screw on the escutcheon plate." Im not so green to plumbing to u derstand escutcheon plates dont screw on. 🤦‍♂️

I had a sudden leak from kitchen faucet. I was so confused who to call as I wanted a reliable company. I had a pleasant experience from my call to McGill Plumbing to discuss the problem I was having. They were very concerned about getting service to us right away. John M. was at my house within 1 hour of my call. He was very friendly, caring & assured me he would take care of our issue. He found the leak, explained to us what happened that caused it. He did a great job making the necessary repairs. I would recommend McGill Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing sevices. Tom and Johnny just installed two new faucets in my bathroom! Awesome job! Clean and beautiful!

We needed a new bathroom faucet and shower bar & head installed. It was a little complicated because the valves did not line up with the new vanity. John from McGill came out and he was confident that he could complete the job. He had to make some cuts in the vanity, but he was careful and clean! Everything looks beautiful. I also needed a new shower bar, head and on/off whatchamacallit installed... the old one was installed crooked, but somehow John was able to install the new one without breaking any tile. It's perfect, and the water pressure is amazing! John is friendly and has a great attitude. He was upbeat about the project and that resulted in a job well done! Thank you, McGill!

Had Mark out today to replace a toilet in the master bathroom. First time using McGill and the experience was A+++. During the installation Mark noticed there was some root intrusion that had gone undetected. He completed some treatment to slow the problem down, but was very clear when explaining what to look for going forward and what kind of remediation I might have to expect in the future.

Once the installation was complete, the only trace of his presence was the new installation itself.

Really appreciated the high attention to detail, clear communication, and pristine workspace.

Will definitely be my first call for future plumbing needs.

They did quite a few things around my townhouse and they were very eager to please. I recommend them very highly. They are a family-run business!

Everyone in the area recommends McGill Plumbing. Ric came out today and did an outstanding job. We highly recommend McGill for all of your plumbing needs. We are going to use them again in the near future to install new kitchen sink and garbage disposal. Great work!!

I've been using McGill for nearly 20 years. It started with a stupid mistake that broke an outdoor faucet on a weekend and McGill was out quickly to fix the problem. Over the years they have replaced toilets and fixed other plumbing leaks, and are responsive. There's a reason they have been around so long! And Tonya is always great to work with, as well as the other employees I have encountered.
